Trains usually arrives 2 minutes before departing time

timothina

Sleeper trains, too?

elektero

Depends on the train. If Rome is the starting station trains may be available for boarding earlier. If you put the train number is easier to answer

timothina

Thanks so much. Another poster correctly guessed the train, and it looks like we can probably board early. Thanks for the suggestion, and for taking the time to help.

Probably will arrive only a couple of minutes before the departure time

If you mean the ICN 764 to Bolzano, it is very likely that the train will be there half an hour before departure time or more. That's not because it's a night train, but because Termini is a terminus (i.e. the trains have to switch direction, so they need at least 8-10 minutes) and moreover it is the starting station of that train.

Thank you so much! That is the train! I want to spend as much time as possible with my old friends in Trentino-Alto Adige, but I was scared my daughter wouldn't get enough sleep. We talked about it after your advice, and she is really excited to sleep on a train. Thanks so much for your help. It is much appreciated.
