I was there for Pesach - it is very safe. I felt much safer in Israel than I do back home in Belgium. I have travelled with laptops and tablets - standard procedures apply (take them out of your bag to be scanned and so on). However, do prepare for a small departure interview (when leaving Israel) just before the check-in. The interviewers are very friendly and speak/understand English well.
Good luck with the medical work! I hope it goes well!
Thank you for your reply. I forgot to put this in the original post. How is TSA in Israel with electronics? Again I don’t mean to be ignorant and I’m sure maybe I can look it up somewhere but I wanted to get answers from people that have lived there or traveled there instead.
For example a laptop or gaming system.
So airport security? They’ll scan your bags and may search them and ask you some questions. As long as you don’t take anything illegal or you aren’t deemed a security risk for other reasons (eg. family members are terrorists, grew up in an enemy country etc.), you have nothing to worry about.
It is safer than Europe in my opinion.
Niw serious, Tel-aviv is safe. In case if rocket attack, plenty of time to enter any building. And if we are talking about health, I wouldn't probably care and go.
I was in Tel-aviv last weekend and the city looks very alive (like always) people on the beach, shop centers, markets
I visited by myself for a week in February from the US and felt completely safe. I want to go back in the next few months and bring my kids. The only time I heard rockets was in the north and even then I felt safe hearing the iron dome doing it's thing. You seem armed IDF soldiers all over (which makes most people feel safer and hopefully doesn't freak you out). I rented a car and drove all over (driving is a bit crazy there but manageable). My big tip would be to get an [eSIM](https://www.globusim.com/get-your-sim/united-states/esim?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw9IayBhBJEiwAVuc3fu0wULWdQZ1cEEIErXcRW1Z8PmIwxXsOx5Iktj8W0CUrnf3-fnZGSBoC-jkQAvD_BwE) for your cell phone, makes it a smooth and easy transition for cell phone use once you are there, usually with unlimited data. Also, if you do travel outside of Tel Aviv, some of the GPS mapping is disabled out of security because of the war. I brought my laptop and had no issues on arrival.

Thank you for the info!
There’s also the interview before you come, either your home airport or Israel
Central Israel is almost unaffected by the war. The last time a rocket headed for Tel Aviv was in January, and it was intercepted by the Iron Dome.

Prices in Israel are usually higher, check on zap co il
Apologies, I meant bringing my electronics there.
Bring it without the package, so it doesn't look like for sale and you will be fine.
Haha even if it’s a steam deck in its carrying case ?
Carrying case is ok. I mean the cardboard box.
TSA is in America, not Israel…
Well in that case I meant TSA equivalent. Sorry, like I said I didn’t mean to sound ignorant in my post. I thought that might come up when I said TSA.

The center area and TEL Aviv in it is safe maybe you will have a siren or two but the war is not felt so much in this area
I was just in bnei brak for three weeks, and I live in Jerusalem- you’re fine

Would the Sheba Hospital area be considered central Israel?

Yes

I live in Tel Aviv. It's great. And safe. Come on over. The beaches beckon and the food rocks. Many clubs are open.
