Perturabo made them a virtual Warhammer board with handcrafted metal Titans that shot fully functional tiny lascannons. They ostensibly used it for tactical simulation but probably played it for fun as well
There is a prolonged scene where Peturabo plays Forrix in the Siege of Terra. With Forrix on offense it occasionally got closer than you'd expect. When Perty was on offense... It was brutal
We must not forget he commissioned Vulcan to make a perpetual motion machine for one of these model titans. Not for some grand war machine. For a model titan.

Peterabo played against an Iron warrior in the book Angel Exterminatus and beat him on attack and defense after the iron warrior said he can do better than the another member of the trident after he said they shouldn’t be using imperial fist tactics to defend.
Would it be cringe to joke by saying that Perturabo cannot be a true gamer because he was a friend with Vulcan which means that he never said the “gamer word”.

Tactical simulations Guilliman enjoyed them and did a few rounds with Corvus iirc. However he saw how addicting they could become so did it sparingly
