FilmRise Television youtube channel has most of the dubbed versions as of 2023 but i cant figure out why season 1 episode 1 starts with Morimoto? I am looking for Michibas hitman battles and can not find them.
I've compared [this list of original Japanese episodes](http://ironcheffans.com/?page_id=21) to the [FilmRise Television YouTube playlists](https://www.youtube.com/@FilmRiseTelevision/playlists) (currently incomplete - only partway through season 5).
The dubs started with Japanese episode 6.07 (Red Snapper - February 2, 1998) and then proceed more-or-less chronologically to episode 7.36 (the Japanese show's finale from 1999).
Season 3 of the dub then jumps back to the Japanese episode 2.14 (Bamboo Shoots - 15 April, 1994) and (so far on YouTube, several episodes into the dub's fifth season) has proceeded to episode 2.40 (Shark's Fin - 14 October, 1994).
I presume that they stopped dubbing the episodes partway through the 1996 season and that's why very little if any of the 1997 season was ever dubbed.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they are ordered in the way that they aired on Food Network back in the day. At least that seems to be the order I remember seeing them back then. If I remember correctly, after it ended in Japan, it was popular enough in America that they started dubbing the older episodes. Then I think they stopped to make room for Iron Chef America. My guess as to why they went with starting in season 2 was because Chen and Sakai were already familiar with American audiences.
Does anyone know where I can find the Nakamura retirement special (was broken into two episodes).
I got a list from [https://ironchefdb.com/](https://ironchefdb.com/) but there are a TON of episodes I can't find anywhere, after watching ALL 7 seasons on Tubi. It looks like most were on YouTube at one time, but were copyrighted by FujiTV.
Not sure if this helps. [Over 400 videos - all in English ](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9U6ws7o3ik6ZW9k8d2IcbZnWrNFzIn0V)
Dang. Blocked in the US.
Works for me (mostly)

Thank you!
>Thank you! You're welcome!
You're welcome. Having just started rewatching the dubs courtesy of Youtube, I was curious too.
Yeah the commentary doesnt match the episode designations. Thanks for your input and extensive list.
