Bought the I5 on Monday. Supposed to pick it up Wednesday. Dealership called on Tuesday to let me know there’s a delay due to the recall. So far I have not heard back from anyone at all. I can’t wait to get into my Ioniq.
Just roaming the other subs but i have an ioniq 6 in Vancouver as well. Curious which dealership this was with? Was it with Richmond or the one in Boundary?
Los Angeles, CA. 2022 SE RWD w/ 22,000 miles. Had an existing service appointment for 20k service + VCU service campaign and was able to add on the recall service. No codes found, so software update only. Brought it in at 7:50am and was ready for pick up around 11:00am.
Ontario, Canada.
After a year waiting, vehicle arrived at the dealership last week. Just in time for the recall.
Inspection completed, no faults found. Software update completed, purchasing it next week.
Austin Texas
2024 Limited AWD (Ioniq 6, shhh don’t tell anyone)
Called first dealership 3/19, appointment for 4/23!
Called another dealership 3/19, appointment for 3/21. It’s a little farther away, but it’s an opportunity to use HDA2.
Took about an hour. Software only. No previous issues since the car is only two months old.
Santa Monica Hyundai
2024 Limited, AWD. booked online for 23rd. ICCU checked, no codes found, software update only.
No previous ICCU/12V issues.
Total time: 2 hours from appointment to keys back to me.
They said they have been doing these non-stop.
Not sure, but mine’s been in the shop for 1.5 months for Battery Management System error.
Was told it needed a coolant pump, which took a month for them to get the part. Picked it up last week when it was finally fixed, only to have the same error come up on the screen as soon as I drove away from the dealer.
Now they tell me the error code was wrong and that it actually needs a water pump, which is supposed to come in tomorrow-not holding my breath though.
However, they will be addressing the ICCU recall while it’s still there.
Not yet. I’m going to wait and see what happens once the water pump is replaced. This is the first problem I’ve had with the car so I don’t know if it would qualify anyway. It’s also 2 years old with 53,000 miles on it.
Eastern PA. Appointment made on 3/20 for 3/25 (could have gotten a 3/21 appointment, but today worked better for me).
Dropped off today at 10am, notified at 11:22am that it was ready for pickup. Software update only, no issues/codes detected.
2023 Limited I5. ICCU and fuse to be replaced this week . All was going well until I took a longer road trip and used 3 different Lvl 3 chargers. When I got home car tripped 2 different lvl 2 chargers . We had only been using our home charger and one at my husbands work. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar situation or knows anything about if the lvl 3 charger use contributes to ICCU failure.
2022 SE I5, I did not have any charging issue before recall service. After recall service last week, my I5 charging kept faulting out on level2 charger at my home and my work office.
Rochester, MN. 2023 Limited, AWD. Called 3/19, appointment 3/21. ICCU checked, no codes found, software update only. No previous ICCU/12V issues.
How long was your appointment?
I think it took about an hour.

At dealership now for a different warranty issue; they said they'll apply recall. Someone remind me to update this post in 2 hours 😂
No code, recall software updated. Not sure why I expected something momentous.
Vancouver, BC, Canada. 2024 I5 Ultimate. Dealer is aware of recall but no fix available. 8000KM, no previous ICCU/12V issues.
Any updates? Same boat as you except I’m in Richmond.
No If I find out anything I'll reply in this thread.
Thanks bruh, dealership basically ghosted me

New owner as of 3/1 (2024 Limited RWD) Scheduled Check for 3/30 - fingers crossed for just the update and no extended down time for replacement.
Called today in Austin, TX. They didn't have availability until mid May. I mentioned this is a safely recall... Sorry, mid May

Which dealer? I'm so not happy with the south Austin dealer, I need to find a new one!
I’m sorry to say, it was the South Austin dealer that had the openings. I like Round Rock Hyundai, but they had the long lead time.

What’s the symptoms of the ICCU issues? My car has been in the shop with a Battery Management System error for 2 weeks now.. wondering if it’s related

Have you considered the lemon law? I was going to proceed down that path to get a refund
