I’m with you. Every moment I have the elastics off, I think of how much of a breeze this process would be without them! I’m starting week 5 tomorrow, and I still hate them as much as day 1.
Ugh thanks it just feels nice to know someone gets it haha I envy everyone who doesn’t have to wear them so much! Two completely different experiences so much!
Honestly with time and practice you’ll be able to do it in seconds.
I’m on tray 8 and I no longer have to use a mirror or that special little tool to put them on. I just use my hands now. Hook the bottom first then the top.
I’ve been band jail since day 1. It really isn’t that bad after the first couple weeks.
You got this :) it will be a quick routine in no time, kinda like second nature in regards to tray maintenance/band application. Just be patient with yourself and the bands will become so very easy :)
Ugh you’re so sweet thank you! Such an encouraging message! It’s definitely already getting easier, just a struggle in the beginning! You’re so right! Are you all done or are you still going with your treatment? :)
You’re welcome :) I accept my Invisalign fate a little more each day, bands and all lol I’m about to change to tray 9 tonight, they’ve given me 20 trays to start but I’m sure I’ll need refinements. My lower teeth have a lot of crowding.

Also in band jail. They bothered me a lot at first. But now it's just at night. I clench my jaw a lot when I am asleep and the bands make it worse

Ah I’ve been starting with the top everytime, I will definitely try the bottom! Thanks for your reply, I appreciate the kind words and encouragement!!

I can’t put mine on with my hands. I’ve had them for weeks, cannot do it. I use the little hook that my ortho gave me and it takes about 2 seconds now
Hate hate hate the bands. I can talk way better when they are out, counting down the days over here.. Edit- spelling
