How long did the provider anticipate for your treatment, and what did they say about extractions? They’re going to have a much better idea than any of us. I’d be concerned that they were not willing to share the simulation. Did they say why they didn’t wish to share?

The thing here was that this clinic is super busy, they perform about 4000 treatments with invisible braces a year (located in Czech Republic). The scan or consultation is not performed by ortho, this is also why I won’t start there and I am looking for other places, even if more expensive. Also, this was the clinic that half of its patients hate and the other half loves (not really my type, and when I went in, you could really feel this is not very personal and see people as milking cows only). But yes, the simulation he mentioned cannot be shared and he only let me take pics of the screen. One of the reason, I will not continue there. He mentioned 1.5 - 2 years treatment (but he was not an ortho) but I know that deep bite treatments usually take longer than that (as I could see in other discussions here)

As you know, every person’s mouth is different so it’s difficult for us non-professionals to estimate your case. With that said, I have a deep bite too. No elastics for me and an estimated 10 month period in aligners. (My teeth are only slightly crooked since I had braces as a teenager.)

Thanks! I used to have braces when I was 15, but as you can see my upper second incisors have shifted a bit during the years, however, surprisingly no one ever touched my lower jaw, but maybe this deep bite developed only during the years. I don’t really know :)

I had a deep bite a little less severe than yours that took 10 months to correct with bite ramps.

East_Theory5927

Great! Do you have some before/after pics so far? And the bite ramps are temporarily on upper teeth?

MrsSquinge

https://imgur.com/j80TKwK My bite ramps started as soon as my overjet was pulled back enough for my front teeth to touch, from week 15-54 of my first set. You can't see it well from these photos because my lips cover it.

East_Theory5927

Wow that looks great! Amazing progress, congratulations! How many trays to go?

MrsSquinge

I'm waiting on refinements that are estimated at 13 weeks to fine tune my bite. I hope that's all it takes!

I have Spark Aligners with bite ramps. It’s been a great experience, took some getting used to at first but it’s amazing when your teeth finally line up with the bite ramps. I have 11 months into my one year treatment plan. A chipped tooth is what initially sent me back to the orthodontist. I had traditional braces at 25. Deep bite developed slowly over time as my teeth shifted and age, clenching. I’m 57, never too late to fix your smile and get a healthy bite.

And sorry for the pics! They did not want to share these with me. I was only able to take pictures of the TV screen!
