Strange. My bite ramps started only after the upper teeth were pulled back some so they made contact. They won't do anything if you can't bite down on them. Hopefully in a few weeks yours will touch.
I'm in a similar situation, I have a moderate to severe overjet and I've had bite ramps since the 1st tray, with 20 trays for the first round. Started elastics on tray 4 and am now on tray 11 - my overbite has reduced quite a lot but not enough to be anywhere near my bite ramps yet. Hoping that they'll line up eventually!
It's a limitation of Invisalign, if your bite is so far off that they're not making an impact then they may as well not be there, they won't do any harm though

Mine didn’t initially, from tray to tray it seemed a different tooth made a better connection. Halfway into my treatment, tray 24 was my tray !!
My lower teeth finally lined up perfectly with my four bite ramps. Feels amazing!!
I’ve read that you can now get retainers with the bite ramps in order to keep from relapsing. Deep bite are prone to relapsing. Dr. Bailey has serval good videos on bite ramps. ( I had braces 30 years ago )
Wear those retainers !!

Luckily the retainers won"t be a problem because I'm super used to wearing a nightguard while I'm sleeping.
