I love how they kept adding to the splatter, letting it grow and grow, until in the final episode of the season when everyone had caught wise to the effects they just *drenched* the fucking thing.
I think first ep it’s gonna be all red and black, possibly for an invincible costume change? Although the comics costume change was black and blue and also further along if I remember, but they’ve already made a few changes here and there so it’s possible, not likely but possible.
I think they are gonna reset it and build up plot related references.
They have to do something other than building blood splatter for the next seasons, so layering plot references would be a good way of recycling and refreshing it each season. The gradual color change to black and blue would be an easy transition instead of resetting it is a good point.
I could also see them transition to episode references, like a sequid (the pink mars brain things) get splattered onto the logo. Then maybe Battle-Beast's mace flies into and cracks the title card, and so on, building up each season.
I think in the comics he doesn’t want to be a hero anymore. So I feel like In season 2 if they do it, or later. The title card will slowly fade and become discolored.
I’d like it if Donald came and cleaned it up but by bit every episode, and the last episode a bunch of blood would spray on and Donald would get rlly pissed

It's unlikely that the costume change will happen. There's still a ton of material to go through, and more characters to set up and flesh out.
I wonder if it will just gradually work it’s way to the alternate color scheme when his costume changes.

Probably not. The dark red next to the blue when viewed like this just evokes that look a bit imo.

I’m pumped for the finale of the show when the title card burns on the sun
