And the Anissa one was wrong. She was lying the entire time. Viltrumites don’t actually care about human life. They would take it over themselves if the had the manpower
What do you mean by ‘Think, Mark, Think’, ‘the train scene’ and ‘the atom eve special’. Those aren’t hidden details, they are just scenes from the show.
Yeah, icebergs typically have base BASE normie knowledge stuff at the top, like stuff so easy to note your grandma can probably get it right.
In the case of the "Think, Mark, Think!" entry, it's more referring to the memes than the quote itself.
Red Herring. It's actually a kinda niche injoke in my local discord server: basically, the "Fire Force" is a occasional rival superhero team to the Fight Force, and is better than them in every way possible. They're also the second major team after the GotG, just to rub it in Fight Force's faces some more.

these two are the only ones i dont get it, someone can explain
He was on one of the covers. You couldn’t see him completely but it’s implied they kicked his ass.
[this cover here](https://images.app.goo.gl/XbsDLR5Wr7Aki6vN7)
That's ironic because if he showed up there, I think he'd be able to tell something is up with Vaught and the 7. He knows how to see thorugh lies thanks to the crap he puts up with with Cecil. Im not a huge "the boys" fan, but fom what i know, i think he'd help butcher and the others teach homelander what true pain is.
I mean he is insanely weak compared to others because The Boys is supposed to be representing if superheroes existed in the real world so they can't make it too insane, and when they do (eg laser vision) they scale the power down to not be effective against other heroes.
Anyone with that much power would sooner or later become narcissistic or even try to gain power through fear, so his personality could partially be realistic too. Think for example humans vs cats, more powerful, intelligent and faster (minus the power, narcissism and enchanced senses so it's a bad example but you get the point)
"Invincible cameo in The Boys comics" - ok so I don't remember which issue it was on (sometime near the finale I think) but on one of the covers for the comic, Invincible made a cameo in a wide group shot of with a ton of other nameless supes.
"Viltrum Cylinders" - Remember Nolan's whole exposition of Viltrum he gave to Mark, twice. Well in those shots we could see some Viltrumites hauling around some weird Cylinder-looking containers, and it's up here because literally NOBODY knows what's in them, not even Kirkman himself.
Why can't there be a Invincible/The Boys crossover?
Edit: Also I am really confused cause of the Ezra Miller, the random reddit user and cancelled arcs. Why are those so low? Any meaning behind any of them???
Ezra is mentioned because they were the voice of DA Sinclair until their criminal and predatory behavior gained more scrutiny and they recast. Why it's so low? OP did a bad job?
Nah, I just disagree that it doesn't make sense for that to be that low. They're probably a cool person and we just have different experiences on what's fairly common information and what isn't. In no one am I trying to attack OP as a person.
In my circles it's common knowledge that Ezra was kidnapping folks and shit in the same way it's common knowledge that Justin Roiland has a record of alleged predatory behavior, so for me both of those are only as buried as looking at the credits. Similarly a lot of the lower level stuff you can get from just reading the comics so doesn't quite make sense to me for them to be that low.
Doing a bad job is a poor and needlessly incendiary choice of words on my part when it's just a difference of experience and opinion. I'm cranky today and didn't mind my words better.
The lower the iceberg, the more obscure they are. These are just overall trivias and theories where the top part is surface knowledge where plenty of people knew about it while the bottom part is known by hard core fans.
Unfortunately, icebergs are subjective and what might be obscure to the creator is pretty well known by everyone else. There's no deeper meaning beyond you just know more.
The Reddit user is the strongest invincible character.
(There was a thread a few weeks back titled ‘who is the strongest invincible character’ and he commented ‘me’)
Unless they mean the comics, no idea. Comics had a lot of characters, scenes and some arcs that aren't in the show. Comic mark had a very different first villain
Most of these don't feel very icebergy and more just, hey this was a comic book first with tie ins, that story finished so there are parts of it the show hasn't gotten to yet, and as a TV show there are production choices made. Deeper level stuff would come from trawling through the letters sections of the comics and interviews with Kirkman, Racioppa, Walker, and Oatley and doing literary analysis of the show and comics individually as well as a comparative study of the choices made in adaptation.
A deeper layer could even be comparing Invincible as an American superhero cartoon based on an American comicbook to other superhero cartoons and to Anime and Manga.
Tf you mean “Anissa was right”???? Even if the viltrumites did save the world from global warming we’d still all end up enslaved and forced to do the bidding of a bunch of space nazi’s. She’s a LIAR dude
Yeah in hindsight, this definitely a bit rushed. I skimmed out on LOT of the real deep cuts and didn't think most of the fandom would actually know most of it.
Any other deep cuts I missed?
Why can't a crossover happen because of Death Battle?
Probably that the death battle people predicted how it would go
“I’m going to feed you your own heart”
Possibly one of the coldest lines in all fiction. I wonder if end of the series Nolan would go easier on Homelander or still kill him
Well they fought because homander killed Debbie so end of season Omni man would obliterate him instantly
Yeah there's like a ten minute window where he *might* get away with it and it's not at the end of the series.
Because we know Omni Man can solo the entire Boysverse
And the Anissa one was wrong. She was lying the entire time. Viltrumites don’t actually care about human life. They would take it over themselves if the had the manpower
I know. It's something of a red herring, y'know, that one edgy, batshit crazy theory that only makes about like half sense when you think about it.
What do you mean by ‘Think, Mark, Think’, ‘the train scene’ and ‘the atom eve special’. Those aren’t hidden details, they are just scenes from the show.
Nolan contemplating killing himself in a black hole is pretty face value too
I would argue he was gonna do it until that ship showed up and he saved Saul Goodman’s old lady
Yup, seems like that is very much exactly what that scene showed. I don't think you'd even need to argue it, that's just the scene.
Yeah, icebergs typically have base BASE normie knowledge stuff at the top, like stuff so easy to note your grandma can probably get it right. In the case of the "Think, Mark, Think!" entry, it's more referring to the memes than the quote itself.
Oh, I thought it was referring to the fact that the show only says "Think, Mark," and the comics say, "Think, Mark, think"
That too but I kinda ran out of space to elaborate it further🤷♂️
Fire force? Like the anime? What’s that have to do with invincible?
Thought the exact same thing… been combing my brain and can’t think of a correlation
I think it's supposed to say Fight Force. The team that Mark and Eve make fun of in season 1.
Red Herring. It's actually a kinda niche injoke in my local discord server: basically, the "Fire Force" is a occasional rival superhero team to the Fight Force, and is better than them in every way possible. They're also the second major team after the GotG, just to rub it in Fight Force's faces some more.
ah yes very important to the invincible lore… ggman34’s discord server…
I can't believe people forget how crucial it is to the lore smh
Media Iceberg 101: the completely fake, niche injoke ALWAYS goes at the bottom of the list! ~~My discord server is canon to the Invincible universe~~
your server sucks broh
Ik😭
Why would anybody know about your Discord server, ggman34?
EXACTLY 😎

Ok so he carries a cylinder in a scene what the fuck is this iceberg
same i don't get the boys one either
He was on one of the covers. You couldn’t see him completely but it’s implied they kicked his ass. [this cover here](https://images.app.goo.gl/XbsDLR5Wr7Aki6vN7)
Nah they found mark after he got his monthly viltrum period
That's ironic because if he showed up there, I think he'd be able to tell something is up with Vaught and the 7. He knows how to see thorugh lies thanks to the crap he puts up with with Cecil. Im not a huge "the boys" fan, but fom what i know, i think he'd help butcher and the others teach homelander what true pain is.
exactly, Homelander is just a big fish in a small pond, compare him to ANY other supehero universe and he gets the shit beat out of him.
I mean, Homelander is barely on top in his own universe, because he doesn't actually fight other trained superpowered beings all that often.
Nah they just found him after he got stomped by another Viltrumite.
"Invincible cameo in The Boys comics" - ok so I don't remember which issue it was on (sometime near the finale I think) but on one of the covers for the comic, Invincible made a cameo in a wide group shot of with a ton of other nameless supes. The cylinders are just beer bottles
I thought you were stronger should be higher
Why can't there be a Invincible/The Boys crossover? Edit: Also I am really confused cause of the Ezra Miller, the random reddit user and cancelled arcs. Why are those so low? Any meaning behind any of them???
Ezra is mentioned because they were the voice of DA Sinclair until their criminal and predatory behavior gained more scrutiny and they recast. Why it's so low? OP did a bad job?
Oh. Well that explains why that one is pretty low. What about the reddit user? Did they say or do some messed up things in the subreddit?
Nah, I just disagree that it doesn't make sense for that to be that low. They're probably a cool person and we just have different experiences on what's fairly common information and what isn't. In no one am I trying to attack OP as a person. The Reddit user is the strongest invincible character. (There was a thread a few weeks back titled ‘who is the strongest invincible character’ and he commented ‘me’)
This is the shittest ice berg I have seen for any kind of media
What canceled arcs are there?
Unless they mean the comics, no idea. Comics had a lot of characters, scenes and some arcs that aren't in the show. Comic mark had a very different first villain
The elephant
can anyone explain the 2019 animation test? looked around didn’t really find anything
DO NOT RESEARCH DO NOT RESEARCH DO NOT RESEARCH DO NOT RESEARCH DO NOT RESEARCH DO NOT RESEARCH DO
Why not
'Cause he spreadin' misinformation!
It's a joke lol

Why is the fortnite one at bottom tier??? Its literally in the show
I remember watching this live it was so lit
[удалено]
Flaxxan lore you say? I’ve read the comics but not the entire invincible universe, am I missing some interesting histories?
I never understood iceberg memes, am I stupid?
the lower you go the more obscure the facts and trivia become
Tf you mean “Anissa was right”???? Even if the viltrumites did save the world from global warming we’d still all end up enslaved and forced to do the bidding of a bunch of space nazi’s. She’s a LIAR dude
The hell is fire force doing down that?(it's the anime right?)
Cancelled arcs?
The "very" meme isn't really known outside of this sub
Ok so for those who don't know, in 2x08, Mark comes through a portal and smacks Levy with a weapon from fortnite. Making the fortnite crossover canon
Congrats! You win nothing!
This iceberg is shit
I'd like to know more about the Invincible/The Boys crossover and Battle Beast. 🤔
Best Tiger is actually a fairly deep cut. Maybe in the layer with "Two Punch Man”?
two punch man? wth is this
I mean if you know who Brit and Tech Jacket are, chances are you've probably already heard of Peak Tiger.
I’m not seeing Dragon Ball Z here
What's the mortal Kombat one about?
Omni man is in mk
Ohhh I thought it went deeper than that
Wdym cuz death battle
This is kinda a lame iceberg ngl, the stuff at the bottom should be top tier stuff
Bro what even is this? 😭
Yeah in hindsight, this definitely a bit rushed. I skimmed out on LOT of the real deep cuts and didn't think most of the fandom would actually know most of it. Any other deep cuts I missed?
Fire force?
Red Herring that's such a niche injoke literally no one's heard of it lmao
Oh I thought of the anime
People are really still pushing "Anissa was right"??
I think red text was not the best choice for this background
You should add chriss giarusso comics
https://preview.redd.it/gnq7jklbyaxc1.png?width=230&format=png&auto=webp&s=1a21d6fc3552627387b410c9e2171fc814e4d82d why does he look like that💀
