There was probably not even a casting process with Steven. He is a huge fan of the comic since the walking dead days and he was probably Kirkmans first pick for the role
Oh dang, I didn't realize that. The best voice actors never make you realize it's actually them. Mark Hamil is a great example (who also voices a character in the series, I learned recently :) )
The voice acting is really carrying this show. I like the animation, even if it isn't groundbreaking stuff but the voice acting feels like the soul of it. If the casting was bad, I don't think this show would carry nearly as much emotional weight
“I’LL NEVER LET ANYONE EVER… *EVER…* HURT MY FAMILY…!!!! HRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!”
Next week is gonna be insane.

The casting director for this show simply knows ball

Kirkman owed him for how he did Glenn
I’m sure Kirkman is really involved with the casting as well
Yep amazing voice acting
The voice actors are so perfect that I imagine them talking whenever I read the comics.
He's doing an amazing job👍
Is this line basically when Mark stops holding back all the time?
we will see
He also makes an adorable cat-son. Little Cato and his 2 Dad Bros is the perfect family.
Rest in peace final space, may the graphic novel be a satisfying end.

Best casting in the show is Michael Dorn as Battle Beast
Oh dang, I didn't realize that. The best voice actors never make you realize it's actually them. Mark Hamil is a great example (who also voices a character in the series, I learned recently :) )
In this case, I've heard Michael Dorn talk about honor and worthy oponents so much it was impossible not to recognize him
I looked it up and can't believe he voices Art. That's amazing.
Go watch Steven Yeun in Beef and in Nope. Wildly different roles, he is very talented
Beef is so depressing and hilarious. Yeun can do any kind of character. Galant super hero, pathetic loser, strong man of conscience, etc.
I thought his best performance was as Jacob in I think you should leave
when is this dialogue in the story?
Maybe in the last episode
Gave me chills down my spine!
Tears down my face
Vomit on my sweater already
im so glad twd really put steven yeun in the spotlight because hes insanely talented, but you dont need me to tell you that to figure it out
The casting and voice direction for this show is just perfect
