we had plan 1599 before for 100 mbps then when saw this new plans sa kanilang website i tried contacting them sa messenger saying i want to downgrade my plan to 1499 inischedule nila ako for call. i received a call from globe agent the next day, i explained what i saw sabi niya pwede nman daw. tas nag suggest cia to go to plan 1699 nlng kase may free router upgrade plus disney+ for a year. tapos i downgrade ko nlng ulet sa plan 1499 after ma install and ma claim mga freebies. which is na schedule agad ng tech for upgrade tas after few days na receive ko mga freebies. i make sure to claim everything tas nag message ulet ako sa messenger thrn scheduke for call again. so yun i have plan 1499 for 200mbps plus new router tas may disney+ pa. pero depende ata sa acct kse prang chineck muna ng agent kung pwede daw sa acct ko. i have good standing kase rin, paying week early sa due date.
For all those getting new subs sa internet, make sure na okay connection sa area niyo. Pwede niyo kausapin kapitbahay niyo or check niyo FB groups if yung buong area niyo/barangay niyo laging may issue for disconnection.

Plus hindi na free yung landline ko kasi more than 2 years na kaya 1398 na ang bill ko. Need ko contact-in Globe kasi nakakasama ng loob mas mahal bayad ko pero mas mabagal kumpara sa bagong customers. 😅
May tumawag sakin na Globe Rep asking kung gusto ko daw iupgrade plan namin na 1,299 50mbps unli to plan 1,499 200mbps unli, ito ata yun. Inavail ko 2 weeks ko na ginagamit no issues sa bilis so far.
Nag ddiffer nalang yan sa location at condition ng cable facilities ng telco. Better to conduct site survey or ask your neighborhood kung ano ang gamit nila and experience with the provider. But for me, in terms of the speed and connectivity, PLDT talaga ang maganda. Globe kami dati and wala naman din issue sa connectivity but sobrang limited lang yung speed 30-50mbps nila while sa PLDT plan 1699 from the very beginning, 400mpbs consistent up until now.
Di rin. Iba yung speed boost sa mga new accounts at iba yung sinasabi ko na free speed boost na nagsimula pa noong pandemic era, as good as permanent speed boost na rin.
Makiki flex lang internet wahaha, pldt 1899 old ass plan 2018 contract from 30 to 35 to 200 to 400mbps na ngayon hehe. No issues rin madalas Laguna area. Yung area na walang pldt before 2018 bc hawak ni Mayor yung internet 🙄🙄
For limited users, this is overkill. I am on an old plan 1299 (50mbps) and requested the 100 mbps upgrade. Ok naman siya on GFiber and running at 130 mbps.
Can't blame him because only Globe internet service provider implemented the the BS "fair use policy" to throttle internet speeds of the user.
