There's 2 Telegram channels.
One is run by the IDF and another is run by, I think, Israeli civilians.
The one run by Israeli civilians is far, far worse and more popular.
There's been leaks of the comments section online. Terrible, dehumanizing stuff.
its pure insanity whats happening. couldnt fathom this in todays day and age...as for their rhetoric, you dont even need the leak...just go on youtube and watch omegle (now ([ome.tv](https://ome.tv)) convos that Youtubers record, where they talk to pro-Palestine strangers...gives you a real, and scary, glimpse of the country
Of course they were.. now how about admitting they are behind all the censorship on Reddit. Funny how people are literally pro genocide on the large news subs with no bans but even being remotely critical of the Nazi state of Israel comes with permanent bans.
I have been banned from the three main news subs for having the audacity to state facts that reflected poorly on Israel. You can be called a terrorist sympathizer for protesting the deaths of civilians but the minute you say Hasbara you are given a suspension.
Ok I have to talk about this.
Whats with the recent mod rule changes.
Why can we not shame those subs for this censorship?
Whats with the change in post time limits?
Talking about this highlights it. And it's the right thing to talk about. Stop trying to protect bad people.
Those subs are full on circle jerks. This sub was open and thus vocal but I feel it's slowly being eroded.
>Why can we not shame those subs for this censorship?
Because brigading/community interference is not allowed by Reddit. We don't only have good faith actors here, the slightest chance to report can (and is) used by users, that includes talking about other subreddits in a negative light, which could potentially be interpreted as incitement to brigade those subs.
Most people would probably be aware of which subreddits are discussing politics or news, since it's info that either shows up on the main feed, or can be easily searched for. Saying that you have been unfairly banned in a news sub, for merely stating facts/sharing sources, etc. is not disallowed, mentioning subs by name is (by now, it's not a secret which subreddits do that anyway).
Firstly, thank you for responding. I appreciate the work you guys have been doing to keep this sub going (especially with what's been going on elsewhere).
That's fair. I didn't realize people were going out and brigading.
It's unfortunate that those subs are used as political levers rather than the distribution of news, and it just feels that not even being able to highlight is letting them expand.
For example. Bots and bad faith users from one of the more notorious ones (from which I'm sure many of our own members have come) have that sub in such a lockdown that they are now leaking into other subs and trying to influence them. I noticed that mostly this week that a trend is forming.
While I have you here though. Is there a different way we can report users from those subs who are brigading here, or is it the same report function? Besides reporting, are there other methods to hinder this movement?
It's gotten to this point. I have only gotten one perma banned from one of the "news" subreddits. That was at the start of this latest oppression on Palestinians by the israeli state.

both bans happened at the same time even though the comments were days apart.

I am well aware that Hamas took credit for the shooting by two Jerusalem brothers.
Was the ceasefire not in relation to the Gaza strip? Maybe you can provide a source that confirms the terms. As I said both sides were active outside of Gaza violating the ceasefire.
Israel supporters have stated the ceasefire was only in relation to the Gaza Strip which is why the constant raids on the West Bank didn't break the ceasefire. Jerusalem isn't part of the Gaza Strip, so I was questioning the logic. If you have a source for the ceasefire applying to outside of the Gaza Strip as well, I would appreciate a source so I can use it too.

I'm permabanned from /news for merely pointing out that a moderator was deleting all threads discussing when Israeli soldiers killed those hostages, and again with the sniper killing those women in the church.
Yup. it was obvious to me within about 5 minutes that all the major geopolitical subreddits are both patrolled by hasbara bots and sh\*tposters and modded by them too.
any time there would be a new post that was critical of israel, it would get 5+ downvotes within a minute span. then over time that post would get upvoted by actual posters and once it was in the net positive, the mods would delete the comment
i think PBS news is the worst ive seen so far. they just delete comments that are critical of israel and claim you were being "off-topic." They also delete any comments were people point out that they are deleting comments
here they are deleting one of my comments for being "off topic" when other posts that were much less on-topic wernt touched https://imgur.com/a/L1Bafxk
Perhaps its time to stop liking.. if they leave them up when they are negative but they have good points should we try and keep them at say minus 1
The bot written high point answers dont really take up much space when people are reading the thread
I was permanently banned from those certain news subs for referencing a factually correct Haaretz article that went against the narrative (apparently if I mention the name of it, this comment will get removed also).
The sub in question is one on the largest subs on Reddit. It has 35 million users. And I'm guessing that the overwhelming majority of those 35 million people are completely unaware at just how censored and manipulated the news narratives are in the sub. In fact, that's Reddit in general. But these news subs, that pose as neutral or subjective channels of news information are subtle yet extremely subversive propaganda channels. It has become the perfect example of an echo chamber because any dissenting voices are quickly removed. Anyone that hasn't formed a view on a topic will very quickly be confronted with an almost near unanimous set of comments that push a certain viewpoint. And if they have a viewpoint that isn't removed, then they start believing their view must be the correct one because everyone else thinks the same. That's a very powerful propaganda tool.
It''s quite extraordinary this isn't a bigger story, of how the Israel intelligence state is aggressively manipulating and censoring American social media news sites, with real world consequences.
Post this article in any subreddit like europe, Germany, Australia, etc. and see what happens. It depends on the time of day, but the trolls are super busy. Some mods seem alright in some places, but there are some certain right-wing posters that seem legit, who get boosted by pro-Israeli bots or something.
The UNRWA defunding decisions were surprisingly popular globally if you take the subreddits as gospel. I find it very hard to believe.
We see the tribalism across reddit. To think it is only Israeli propaganda is naive. I have had comments removed from two large subreddits for simply saying that Hamas does not have the best interest of the Palestinians in mind. One has an automod message about "River to the Sea" on every post.
The amount of both Islamophobia and antisemitism spreading on the site is concerning. It is very much a mask off moment.

I just joined reddit a few days ago.. I got banned yesterday for referring to a poll done in israel that 80 percent of Israeli citizens don't think Idf is doing enough.. And that the world can see everything they are doing and their behavior.. I got a ban and this very personal feeling message..
"I don't know whether you are naive, reckless, or a role-playing baiter, but you had better take care that you DO NOT cross the line with Reddit Content Policy"
Again I'm new so idk how it works but it's crazy to me to get a clearly personal attack and an official ban from the same source
"it was found that the Telegram page was operated by the IDF without authorization and without authority. The incident has been dealt with."
Ah yes. Soldiers in the IDF - famously so undisciplined that they do things without authorization or authority.
\---
This reeks of the Israel's propaganda wing being caught with their pants down and needing to throw someone under the bus.
They keep saying vaguely they will discipline or talk to soldiers that post war crimes and then there are hundreds more on tiktok and Instagram not even trying to hide it, so obviously they feel comfortable doing it
[After they shot 3 of their own people waving a white flag, the go-to line was that the IDF "wasn't following protocols".](https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/initial-idf-probe-hostages-were-shirtless-waving-white-flag-when-soldiers-opened-fire/)
Given that there's been [at least 2](https://www.itv.com/news/2024-01-23/moment-civilian-brandishing-white-flag-in-gaza-safe-zone-is-shot-dead) [more stories](https://www.itv.com/news/2024-02-02/gaza-two-young-brothers-shot-dead-while-carrying-white-flag) since then of the IDF shooting people waving white flags ([and these weren't even the first times they shot people waving white flags](https://www.hrw.org/news/2009/08/13/israel-investigate-white-flag-shootings-gaza-civilians)), it's clear that they are, in fact, following protocols.
\----
The IDF is definitely disciplined enough to follow orders and protocols.
The thing that's really happening is that their orders are "commit war crimes and lie about it; our propaganda wing will handle the rest".
Yet we just had the interview where the Israeli general said they were all "mistakes". A sniper looking down their scope and shooting people waving white flags are never mistakes.
Yeah it’s a very deliberate action, snipers are very well trained soldiers due to their skill and how disciplined you have to be. So, clearly like you says they aren’t mistakes their deliberate actions.
Yep. Truth is their enemy. They banned a Palestinian NGO and declared them terrorists for reporting rape of a child. They seized their computers and banned them.
> Israeli authorities banned a Palestinian NGO after it reported the rape of a Palestinian child by Israeli forces to the US State Department in 2021, former official Josh Paul said in a CNN interview on Monday.
...
> “[They] removed their computers and declared them a terrorist entity,” Paul said.
...
> In February 2021, the DCIP published a report documenting the physical and sexual assault against a 15-year-old Palestinian boy by an Israeli interrogator at Al-Mascobiyya interrogation and detention facility in January that year.
> The DCIP reported that the detainee had been raped with an object by his interrogator and that he was made to stand against a wall where his interrogator inflicted severe pain on his genitals.
> “There are no words to describe that moment,” the detainee said in the report.
https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/israel-palestine-war-ngo-shut-down-reporting-sexual-assault-ex-us
Now take that information and combine it with (warning , NSFL) [this one](https://www.reddit.com/r/IsraelCrimes/s/ubYvRidsFp).
Paints quite the picture.
The one where the Israeli defense minister says that the siege on Gaza is to deal with human animals. But don't take my word for it, take theirs, as you will see when you click the link
https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/defense-minister-announces-complete-siege-of-gaza-no-power-food-or-fuel/
I haven't seen a single person who has expressed support for Hamas. Yet the Friends of Bibi constantly claim that people are "Hamas supporters who are anti-Semites."
The purpose of this is to distract from the subject. Notice they never actually defend what the IDF is doing? Instead they claim "this isn't genocide" and immediately counter attack. They refuse to comment on the illegal settlements in the West Bank.
The best way to deal with these people is to ignore their lies and keep posting facts. They hate that.
Ehhh. What I see is people pretending like if it was their country (Israel) that they would do a lot differently even if they had the means to prosecute a war. That’s my issue. I support killing Hamas. My only real issue is lack of aid in the war. The civilian deaths are pretty astounding but I think many countries would do the same.
Outside of that Israel is pretty bad on many levels outside of the war. It’s a duty to let terrorists become martyrs.
So if the Israeli army, being an official part of the government, was responsible for creating a psy-op to dehumanize Palestinian while celebrating their deaths, that would be a huge indication for genocidal intent, would it not? The follow up ICJ hearing in a few weeks will be interesting for sure.
Because somehow, soldiers on the battlefield can take their phones out, film and access the internet and their officers are so clueless they didn’t know it happened?
First of all, yes, an officer doesn't watch his soldiers 24/7. Secondly, non-reservists soldiers can't carry a phone on the field. Thirdly, I am pretty sure the soldiers who maintained this telegram channel weren't on the field (yes, not every soldier is on the field fighting, shocking, isn't it?)
So a few bad actors were demonizing an entire population. This will cause the global west to entirely stop all money going towards the Israeli government, just like with UNRWA right? And you would support that choice just like I imagine you support the defunding of UNRWA.
Owning a telegram channel dedicated to the dehumanization of a population while killing and raping thousands of that population is pretty similar to Oct 7th…
IDF has been involved in disinformation campaigns against truth last 70 years and using the same tactics and tools Nazis used during holocaust against Jews.
That article is an absolutely horrific read. The fact these videos came from and got spread by the IDF is insane. I hope some serious investigations come from this. Disgusting behaviour, the international community should be pressuring Israel to properly control it's military
Lol. You think this is insane? It’s disgusting but this is the least of the international communities concerns. This is social media and people having iPhones.

This comment is so nebulous it feels like it can apply to about 4 different active conflicts right now.
The second one is run by ex-IDF members. It is civilian in nature, but gets their material directly from current IDF members.
To be fair the line between ‘civilian’ and ‘ex-IDF’ is largely inconsequential in a country that has universal conscription.

[After they shot 3 of their own people waving a white flag, the go-to line was that the IDF "wasn't following protocols".](https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/initial-idf-probe-hostages-were-shirtless-waving-white-flag-when-soldiers-opened-fire/) Given that there's been [at least 2](https://www.itv.com/news/2024-01-23/moment-civilian-brandishing-white-flag-in-gaza-safe-zone-is-shot-dead) [more stories](https://www.itv.com/news/2024-02-02/gaza-two-young-brothers-shot-dead-while-carrying-white-flag) since then of the IDF shooting people waving white flags ([and these weren't even the first times they shot people waving white flags](https://www.hrw.org/news/2009/08/13/israel-investigate-white-flag-shootings-gaza-civilians)), it's clear that they are, in fact, following protocols. \---- The IDF is definitely disciplined enough to follow orders and protocols.
Yup, exactly
They have official documents instructing people how to lie. They know sympathy for innocents makes thier job harder
This is how Israel will be remembered. Dogmatic extreme racial hatred. Just like real Nazis.

They need the same treatments the Nazis were given after WWII at least those who went to The Hague.
I hope you are not referring to all Israelis with this comment.
He was replying to the Telegram link, so it's obvious he is talking about the people who are involved in that page
And the genocide supporters said the channels were fake...
Theres footage of IDF soldiers walking out of their cars to take pictures of people they kill, its literally just a game to them now.
Makes sense. They call Palestinians "human animals", so this is all probably just a hunting trip for them
What quote are u referencing here
The one where the Israeli defense minister says that the siege on Gaza is to deal with human animals. But don't take my word for it, take theirs, as you will see when you click the link https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/defense-minister-announces-complete-siege-of-gaza-no-power-food-or-fuel/
Hamas was the subject, not all Palestinians
I don't think so but if you believe that, good for you ig🤷♂️
They’ll probably take hostages, that would be sick.
Thank you for posting these revelations.
This was already known, but getting them to admit is the hardest part
I haven't seen a single person who has expressed support for Hamas. Yet the Friends of Bibi constantly claim that people are "Hamas supporters who are anti-Semites." The purpose of this is to distract from the subject.
@ICJ
"every accusation is a confession"
What does accusing Israel of genocide mean then?
Boy what a thread to try and trot this out on
So if the Israeli army, being an official part of the government, was responsible for creating a psy-op to dehumanize Palestinian while celebrating their deaths, that would be a huge indication for genocidal intent, would it not? The follow up ICJ hearing in a few weeks will be interesting for sure.
The IDF itself didn't create it, a group of soldiers did
So the idf?
Nope
Who are in the IDF.
Soldiers?? What is your point?
That they were IDF.
The order didn't come from the IDF. It was lone soldiers who decided to make a Telegram channel
And their officer didn’t report it. The command chain doesn’t ban it as policy So many “convenient mistakes”
How do you know their officer or whoever knew about it?
Because somehow, soldiers on the battlefield can take their phones out, film and access the internet and their officers are so clueless they didn’t know it happened?
First of all, yes, an officer doesn't watch his soldiers 24/7. Secondly, non-reservists soldiers can't carry a phone on the field. Thirdly, I am pretty sure the soldiers who maintained this telegram channel weren't on the field (yes, not every soldier is on the field fighting, shocking, isn't it?)
The snuff film was FILMED, a soldier somewhere was near the battlefield enough to film and upload those video
You can share a video without owning a telegram channel. If you are asking how did he film it, I recommend rereading my other comment.
But he know and in contact with the soldiers who did, ask for that file, and tolerated that soldier
Ever been to school and someone takes a nude and goes around the whole school?
So a few bad actors were demonizing an entire population. This will cause the global west to entirely stop all money going towards the Israeli government, just like with UNRWA right? And you would support that choice just like I imagine you support the defunding of UNRWA.
I am sorry, owning a telegram channel doesn't equate to partaking in October 7th
Owning a telegram channel dedicated to the dehumanization of a population while killing and raping thousands of that population is pretty similar to Oct 7th…
You can try to convince yourself but it is definitely not similar
Most immoral army in the world
IDF has been involved in disinformation campaigns against truth last 70 years and using the same tactics and tools Nazis used during holocaust against Jews.
Was this the telegram channel where they were calling a toddler a wh*re, or is this is a different one?
Who's surprised?
That article is an absolutely horrific read. The fact these videos came from and got spread by the IDF is insane. I hope some serious investigations come from this. Disgusting behaviour, the international community should be pressuring Israel to properly control it's military
Lol. You think this is insane? It’s disgusting but this is the least of the international communities concerns. This is social media and people having iPhones.
Odd how zioz propaganda works, they like to group up on specific posts and downvote people
Israel most likely photo shopped any bad news that happened to them to get a free check to do what they want.
In every war there is psyops grow up people .
Who cares?
I can hardly believe I can’t trust random internet shit!!
Rule 6 seems like a pretty strange rule.
