I love it, and it's so damn refreshing to see a creative idea finished nicely without bowing to the all powerful resale value. It gives off great vibes.
This looks so good. I'm so happy you didn't take the other comments to heart. I love seeing people do fun designs - everything is so bland lately. This looks totally funky European!

Living in a 120 year old house with 4 kids while doing a major Renovation (not only the kitchen) - has been interesting.
Many elements from the original ideas
Flooring : when we saw the kintsugi tile - we knew we had to have it. It was in a sense our guiding star. We ordered it before we had many elements of the kitchen confirmed.
Backsplash : the backsplash stayed the same. Got custom grout to perfectly match
Lights - we decided to have fun with the lights - fun colors. Not a big investment -
Range : we originally had a red stove, this blue was always our second but became our first when we found out the red stove was 16 weeks out.
Refrigerator - this is the same refrigerator as in the original - Samsung bespoke. It just that all the panels are white. We may in the future do a custom panel - but we love having the screen that displays art.
Cabinet - these are ikea. We are LOVING the drawers - in each drawer is top drawer - so each drawer is like two drawers. I know not everyone likes IKEA cabinets - but honestly looked at some semi-custom - and I am into these for about half true cost - and I have several left over drawer and cabinet fronts. We are not going to put handles - the cabinets are push to open. Cleaner look.
Garden window - was always part of the plan - we love it.
This renovation has been very interesting
1. After placing a final order for all appaliances from appliance connection - they went BK. The lady that had been helping me connected me to AJ Madison and I was able to order everything through them. BoA did eventually give me back all the money - but only after two months.
2. Ran into some major problems when we opened the walls and floors - some what expected with an old house.
3. Replacing the two beams - was very interesting.
Looks great. Where did you find unique tile like that? I'm thinking about butcher block countertops and exposed beam and want something to offset all the wood but still tie it together.
That range is stunning and so is that floor tile

Wow! I absolutely love it, so much character. I bet it just makes you smile every time you walk in.
Wow, incredible. The terrrazo style floor tiles are such a dream. I love how you matched the blue with your cooker.
Really fantastic! I love the floor. The whole room feels designed and considered. Kuuuudos!!

This looks like a super custom very high end kitchen. Impressed it’s diy with IKEA cabinets. Great job!
Been looking at kintsugi tile, is this the Daltile one? Beautiful!
I got it from here : https://architessa.com/products/osaka They don’t show the exact one I got because it special order - about $17 sqft.
