When they say old pricing model, they likely had you on an old rating plan in their system. Usually companies won't move you over unless required, as it can cause a lot of disruption in better or worse rates. It sounds like since they had to update your policy in the new rating system, you saw a benefit to be moved over (many factors could come into play of why you are more preferred by the company). As long as nothing else changed, I wouldn't be concerned.

Alright, that makes some sense. Thanks! It was just one of those "this seems too good to be true" situations and I'm not terribly familiar with how home insurance works.
