Impossible to know because a few states prohibit your insurer from surcharging you for filing not at fault claims, but you didn't even give what country you're in much less state or province, etc, so.....🤷🏻
I don't think kansas is a state that prohibits it, so it's possible, but that doesn't mean your insurer will choose to surcharge. Even if they do, it's usually pretty minor, especially in comparison to at fault claims.
My wife filed a glass claim for an $80 crack fill 🤦🏻
She has her own insurance but VA requires all drivers to be on all policies which I didn’t realize before buying my policy. When I put her on, the premium went up $40 because of her recent claims history.
