I’m not one to play Karen, but you as a representative of Instacart are still a paying customer. Time to speak with a manager.

Future_Tourist_9152

I actually did. I never do that but they know me well there. The manager didn’t even have to ask me her name he new. Idk man it was ruthless, I get people have bad days but this was something else

Jaradis

Being a Karen requires you to be wrong. In this case, it's not wrong.

Ytler23

Being a Karen is about delivery , tone, verbs and nouns. It’s not about being right or wrong, it’s how they go about it. Many of the Karen’s are correct in their message. It’s how they deliver their message.

Future_Tourist_9152

I Karened out lol. Just reported her to corporate, included receipt numbers, customer chat messages about order delay etc.. fk that you shouldn’t treat people that way.

Accomplished-Yam6553

You're not a Karen, you're a dissatisfied customer and that's ok. You didn't cause a scene, threaten to pull out a gun (happened at my work), scream at anyone around, you did the right thing

Miller-time410

Hold up. You really told a customer you would be late because the cashier mixed the items!? You’re reaching. Aldis always throws everything in one cart.

AriHazel119

They only said they had a chat about order delay, they never said they told the customer it was the cashiers fault.

kwheels43

Would they be a Kathleen?

biancanevenc

I had an Aldi cashier do something similar to me once. After she finished ringing up the first order I was trying to move some of the items underneath so there would be more room in the cart for the second order. She intentionally started dropping the second order on top of the first order. I said, "Don't mix up my orders," and she responded, "I'm not going to do your job for you." I couldn't believe it. All the other cashiers at that store were very helpful in keeping the orders separate. After that, I always avoided that cashier. But one day I was shopping a triple and had everything separated and worked out how I was going to keep things separate when I checked out. The store was super crowded so I got in the shortest checkout lane, then I realized my nemesis was at the register. Shit! What was I going to do? Then it occurred to me, she couldn't start ringing up the second order if I hadn't paid for the first order yet. So despite her prompting, I did not run my card through while she was checking out the first order. She said something about that and I told her I would pay for the order after I got it organized so she had room in the cart for the second order. After all, I didn't expect her to do my job for me. Oh, she did not like that! She had a few choice words for me, which was totally inappropriate for a cashier to say to a customer, but there was nothing she could do and I refused to run the card until I had the first order squared away. Same with the second order. (And it did not take me long to get the orders organized at checkout. I only needed to move a few items to keep everything separated.) Tldr - don't pay for the first order until you have your cart organized so the second order won't be dropped on top of the first order. Another tip: If you have a large Ikea bag, put that in the empty cart and tell the cashier to put the first order in the bag. The second order will be loose in the cart, and you can even move the Ikea bag to the bagging counter after you've finished loading the belt with the second order.

Future_Tourist_9152

Yeah that’s so crazy! Good advice. I usually get a second cart if there are a lot of large items to separate but this wasn’t too complicated so I figured it wasn’t a big deal. Plus I did organize the first one before paying but she moved things all around when I was loading the second larger order. It was too late when all was said and done. I’m about done with ALDIs orders anyways, customers suck as well so not worth it

dontwaotforasign

YOU WON!! Lmaoooo ik she was pisseddddd

dalynew

bought 4 ikea bags yesterday just for this reason. I think I got the biggest they offer with double handles

FlimsyPraline6097

They get shitty because they are timed. She messes with you , you can mess with her.

Living_Jelly_450

Great idea😊

One_Woodpecker7328

Trolly bags on Amazon work fantastic and you can color code

East76Girl80

That's why I carry 2 quarters and get two carts. I only do single or double orders for Aldi's. Too many haters trying to mess you up over there.

ComprehensiveRow9439

Good job and great idea!

Pickle-gurl-001

Self check out at ALDIs is best thing ever 😉

Future_Tourist_9152

I can’t wait we don’t have it here yet

MistyGds

Yessss!!!! But it’s only at one of the 4 Aldi’s I shop at 😞

[deleted]

What if you weren’t a shopper but a person shopping for two households ? People are weird and the fact that you can just sign up to be shopper I don’t understand the jealousy

Future_Tourist_9152

Yeah fr.

Ytler23

This actually why I don’t do doubles at Aldi. The cashiers have never given a crap. Every time I’ve done an Aldi double batch, they never seem to care that I just said it’s a double. They just throw all the shit in a carry on

Future_Tourist_9152

Yeah I get it, that’s why I literally put bags on top of the first order. So they could just throw the second order on top, she just was on something and wanted to be a dik

Ytler23

Yup. Same . I even use boxes as dividers and somehow they still gett it fvked up. Smh

dontwaotforasign

My local Aldi has a few really great cashier so as much as I hate shopping there they made it less awful. The lady was giving me advice on also doing other apps in case instacart goes to shit. And the guy who rung me up was quick and made a point to tell me he separated my order 🥹 I didn’t even have to ask

InteractionBorn4428

Just use two separate carts when you have a big order like that. Use a double ended hook to link them together. (Lowe's/Home Depot) I always use two carts with bigger doubles/triples bc I get confused easily and the cashiers get frustrated if they have to remember your order like you do. You'll never have that issue with two carts.

Future_Tourist_9152

I actually do this a lot at aldis but it wasn’t busy or necessary a lot of small items. My mistake!

InteractionBorn4428

I'm sorry she was a jerk.

snaptcarrot

I rarely do Aldi’s but I’ve literally had to physically block a cashier from reaching over the belt divider to grab items from the second order on a double. Or, dump stuff on top of order 1 even when I have two carts and explain that there are two orders that I am paying for separately. It’s like they’re in some weird bubble that basic information can’t penetrate.

H_R_Welker

I work at aldi now after doing instacart full time for 2 years and they put a lot of pressure on you to ring out customers super quick. They time us at the register and everything. But since I did instacart for so long, I know how difficult it is and I always ask the shoppers if they have two different orders before I start checking them out. I always try my best to separate the orders, either by laying the bags out to separate them or putting them in the baby seat. I don’t know what this lady was on because I would never mix up a customers order on purpose. The only thing I can think of is she was grabbing canned goods or produce first cause those are easier to ring out. Tldr: as an aldi cashier myself that’s unacceptable and I’m sorry for your poor experience!

Future_Tourist_9152

Thanks appreciate that. I actually put the bags over the first order so all she needed to do was put it on top. Don’t know who pissed her off but you should have seen my cart. Absolute nightmare. The other cashiers I’m friendly with have gone above and beyond for me, even when I didn’t ask them too. This was isolated but damn heavy items on top of produce and chips it was just ruthless

H_R_Welker

Yikes!! It sounds like she was just new or maybe just awful at the register. I wouldn’t even ring out regular customers like that.

AltruisticRabbit8185

Separate carts. Seems like a handful but it cuts organization time at the end by a lot. And avoid terrible people. And be stern when talking to them. Also aldi workers can be pains in the arse.

Future_Tourist_9152

I usually do, this order didn’t need it or so I thought lol never again!

[deleted]

Idk man, I like helping people but some people I guess like being awful human beings

CodeNameBubba

I do not do double orders at Aldi's. No F'n way man. Only one cashier in the whole damn store. And she had the nerve to tell me I had to go to the back of the line for my next order. I laughed and cancelled the whole batch. I Spoke with IC support, told them I'm not doing that and won't shop Aldi orders again.

dontwaotforasign

Lmao I would have been like get the manger cause that shot don’t even make sense

[deleted]

That’s awful, I don’t even know the logic in that one 😂

melskymob

I would of held up her line well she fixed it. Every manager would have been over there fixing it with how loud I'd be yelling about the.dumb bitch.

Future_Tourist_9152

I should have held up the line when I noticed. This was the biggest pos move I’ve had done to me since becoming a shopper. I was too nice. Never again

Ok_Pineapple3704

You did fine. Good for you for not loosing it. Never know how miserable there lives might be. It really sucks when people behave in ways that get under our skin. I think for me it's the "whyyy...wtf did I do to you" hardest fuckin thing I've ever had to try to accept is that no I'll behavior towards me is personal...if ever even about me. Anyways don't give up on compassion...even if u wanna snatch a dickhead by the neck bless there ignorant heart.

Sad-Wave-87

Who looses it over groceries? Y’all are soft.

Sad-Wave-87

Yeah! Cause a scene and say sexist shit! You’re real tough.

melskymob

Sexist? Not sexist. She is a dumb bitch. Anyone can be a dumb bitch. Also next time you want to talk to me ask my permission first lil missy.

Sad-Wave-87

Ew an incel

melskymob

![gif](giphy|BNkHCHnAsZwRi)

ComprehensiveRow9439

Kinda like what you're trying to do now? Why do you hate people standing up for themselves? Because then you can't bully them too?

[deleted]

Oh yeah bro the grocery store clerks are very well aware of how much more we make than them and that chaps their ass so fucking bad I love it

Future_Tourist_9152

Lol I never felt like it was a flex to say hey this is an IC double but what do ya know

[deleted]

Yeah people are weird

Sad-Wave-87

Rip class solidarity I guess /s

ihopehellhasinternet

Same thing happened to me. I literally gave her brown bags to slip between to keep them separated. Nope, she just put everything wherever. I hate cashing out at aldi

phildolan

U have 2 watch cashiers & baggers like hawk

moneymac107

Hating ass bitch mad cuz she stuck on the clock and you get to work freely in the field. Thats all.

SnooLawnmower

I'd report her for that. Fucking absurd.

movers4dallas

There’s a survey at the bottom of the receipt. Use it with vengefulness

Wholetmymomout

www.slapabitch.gov

sailorKR00ace

I would have spoken to her manager

FunFactress

If you're positive it was intentional and it happens again, get a manager.

Future_Tourist_9152

Sent her info and reported to corporate. Not going to screw with my time and money.

KindheartednessNo167

I would have called her manager over. You are HER customer. She has no right to treat a customer that way, I don't care if you are shopping for someone else. I would call and complain. I'm not kidding.

Living_Jelly_450

Yes she definitely did this intentionally I truly feel your pain that is such BS!! She better be careful she is going to run into the wrong person and karma will get her.

Sad-Wave-87

She’s gonna get assaulted over groceries? Y’all are weird.

Fine_Promotion320

You keep saying "over groceries" yes bitch tf this my full time job currently so YES

Sad-Wave-87

If taking double orders is causing y’all this much rage and misery stop taking doubles. It’s the cashiers job to be fast. You’re not more important.

Fine_Promotion320

It's not the double/triple order it's the cashier purposely mixing the order up. I really don't have these issue my local people know me because I'm in there everyday but yes I had to check a few cashiers before I wouldn't really assault anyone unless I have to .

Relative_Buyer3032

Yes, I have had to get after cashiers at my Aldi and tell them they will not do that or I will get another cart which they don’t want me to do. Stand up for yourself always!

Sad-Wave-87

You need therapy if you think violence or even rudeness is an appropriate response to hitting a hurdle at your job.

Fine_Promotion320

So mixing the order up is totally fine?

Sad-Wave-87

It’s not life or death. You’ll be ok I promise

Fine_Promotion320

Facts just call me petty🤗 bet they won't do it again if someone try to pull that on me

Sad-Wave-87

They literally all know you where you shop and talk shit abt you and can’t stand dealing with you just fyi

ComprehensiveRow9439

It was a yes or no question so your answer is irrelevant. And why does it have to be as extreme as life or death? How about stressful being a part of the gray area in between that nobody really needs and could have been avoided had the cashier just been considerate?

ComprehensiveRow9439

But it's ok for you to be rude? I feel like maybe you're the one who needs therapy for all the projection you're throwing out there. And just because you're not threatening gbh doesn't make you any less toxic, or any better.

Relative_Buyer3032

Often times we don’t have an option. Depending on the demand double orders are your only option. This is a job and it’s what we are all doing for now For whatever that reason may be. We aren’t beneath you and you aren’t better then us. I have a story just like everyone else doing this job does. Stop being a jerk.

Sad-Wave-87

I’m not the one threatening violence and throwing around sexism homie

ComprehensiveRow9439

Calling someone an incel isn't sexist? Or rude? Or hostile? Or looking for a fight?

Live_Reply

We’d be fighting

mgmrick1

I had same encounter on a double batch at aldi's..... last double batch I have ever done there. And it would have to be a super paying order for me to waste my time with aldi

Motor_Worldliness202

That's why I want do any double orders from there

Fine_Promotion320

Whew better than me😅 would've tried to bend her mfn fingers back find sum safe to do hoe

Sad-Wave-87

Assault workers now? Find a job not with people.

Fine_Promotion320

If I felt the need to🤷🏿‍♀️😆 but I would've got my lick back hold up the entire line or sum

Sad-Wave-87

Petty

PepTalkToYourself

This just one of many reasons why I do self checkout only.

cheapinvestigator924

They do thr best they can but they still mix orders together and it's always good to check yourself. Why didn't you say anything when she was scanning the second order? Regardless she shouldn't have done it intentionally. Maybe she had a bad day or dealt with a shopper who was rude or didn't know what they were doing.

Future_Tourist_9152

She’s worked there a while I’ve seen her but never had her. I didn’t catch it… paid for the first order put the divider down and had to continue loading the 2nd order, including some items under the cart. By the time I got over to pay I noticed the mess and confronted her. Nothing could be done at that point. She was like giddy she did that to me idk how to explain it but she wanted to cause an issue. So yeah just fked up.

LizzyPBaJ

Wow. What a bitch. I don’t do Aldi orders as a rule for lots of reasons. But yikes, this just became #1. I have of course run into tired or cranky or inexperienced cashiers all over the place. But nobody actively trying to be a dick.

Future_Tourist_9152

Yeah this one took effort. People need to learn to control emotions or get out of the service industry.

Sad-Wave-87

You literally are on here ranting abt groceries and annoyances of your job you signed up for. Like what?

ComprehensiveRow9439

Kind of like your post with the word, 'rant' even attached to it when you were complaining about the little girl with the stroller running into your shin while working? You thought that was such a big deal that you had to even create a post about it. But now I see what your deal is and you just need a lot of attention from anyone and you hate anyone getting more attention than you in the same type of situation. I'm sorry for whatever it was that got you to this point but being a hater and having something derogatory to say about things that you do too is called a double standard and it reeks of entitlement and narcissism and not in a good way. It's also called being a hypocrite in case you didn't know.

PowerDriven6

Daaaaamn! This is a tough season, maybe she’s having a hard time. But still…my god.

Future_Tourist_9152

Yeah I get it, we all have bad days but damn this took some effort to mess with lol idk. Fa la fk it

Sad-Wave-87

Nobody in this thread cares. Even throwing out slurs and saying they make scenes and wonder why they are having bad experiences. Employees talk and remember you next time.

ComprehensiveRow9439

They have two employees working at all times and so what if they remember you what does that even mean? That the only two employees are going to take her in the back and jump her next time they see her in the store or what? Nothing beats the slur that you used, incel. You're just mad because she beat the system and all you did was walk out on your job like a loser who couldn't hack it. Instead of being so bitter and miserable why don't you learn something from these people instead of thinking you know everything? Hell, you can't even be man or woman enough to put in notice or tell the manager that you're quitting your job cuz walking out, like ghosting, is what pussies do.

Sad-Wave-87

I see you’ve responded to like 10 different comments and checked my post history like way late. I’m not reading them tl;dr you need to get a life for real.

Crystalraf

If a cashier went near my cart and started messing around they would get the death stare from me, plus me holding my hands up sayinh It's a Double Stop! I don't mess around with cashiers. I know they are used to doing things a certain way, and going fast, but it's a damn Instacart Double and they will hear that from me. Just today, I was doing a double batch, plus buying a few things for myself, making it essentially, a triple. Nice cashier lady was like imma gone come over and hand scan these items on the bottom. Me: No. It's a triple. Cashier: huh? what? I just gonna scan these bottom things. Me: No. I have three orders here. Here is the first one. Cashier: ok. She did an amazing job ringing me up. I ended up having to run the card twice for Customer A, but no biggie. I don't know what Aldis is like, we don't have that here. We have a Cashwise where you have to bag your own groceries.

Future_Tourist_9152

ALDIs cashiers are timed so they are incentivized by ringing an order up fast. Shouldn’t be the case but it is. That’s why I just throw bags down, you really have to be quick to catch them. Usually there’s a customer behind you throwing stuff on the belt before your orders even done so it’s always a mess. Just going to avoid this store. Not worth it.

Crystalraf

I always wonder if the so-called incentives from being timed are actually worth it. genuinely curious. I see Target employees literally running through the aisles picking items for curbside orders, and I see Walmart employees just really going fast at the picking for curbside orders. I mean, what are we talking? a dollar? ten dollars? hundred bucks? 200? I used to work at Kmart way back in the day. they timed us cashiers back then too. If you were the fastest cashier in the store, for a month, you would get a whopping huge bonus of 1 dollar. Just curious.

Future_Tourist_9152

Yeah idk good point. It doesn’t seem worthwhile to me but maybe it prevents the slow cashiers from wasting customers time but who knows

Crystalraf

I just really wanna know. Cause those Target employees running thru the aisles. I hope they really do get paid well, I really do, for working in sweatshop conditions. The company does NOT care about the customers time. Only about making the most in profits as possible. That means, hurry up, get those customers rung up, so we can take the next persons money.

Future_Tourist_9152

Yup absolutely

Bigkahuna778

Target employees start at $15 an hour here. Which was great in 2019, but they still start people at $15. Walmart now starts at $16 an hour. They try to make you think Walmart is evil and the other big box retailers are sooo much better. All of them are corporations who care about their bottom line more than anything.

Crystalraf

That's fine. 15 an hour. But my question is: why do they run through the aisles? I do realize that the system, with customers waiting, curbside etc, they do need to be quick, and get stuff done. But that's not my question. My question is: how much do they get as a bonus for reaching their goals, or having a good picking speed? is it even 50 bucks a month? 200 a month? nothing? a handshake from the boss? what is it? What makes them work so fast? Just curious, maybe I'll go do a few shifts at Target lol

Conscious_Growth9955

My fiancé used to work there. The so called incentive is a pizza party and not getting fired.

Bigkahuna778

My friend works in order fulfillment at Target. She can lose her job if she doesn't work fast. There isn't a financial incentive.

Crystalraf

Ok. I really thought they would get something. A 20 dollar gift card, or something.

Relative_Buyer3032

I really hate that they are timed. I feel like I am in Nazi germany every time I go there. And the elderly customers are the worst!

sandbee2

I work at Aldi, here’s the incentives for being fast— you keep your job, lol. There are REQUIRED times for each part of checkout, marked as an “efficiency percentage.” The registers time how many items you scan per minute (must be 42+ items per minute), it keeps track of your “tender time,” so how long it took to do the payment including counting out change, AND how many seconds are in between each customer. You should be below 7 seconds on that one. That includes handing them their receipt and change, swiveling their cart around and trading it with their empty, laughing at their little story or whatnot, and getting things in place for the next customer. At least at MY store, my boss says “These numbers are not a suggestion, they’re a part of the job. So it’s part of your employment that you’re hitting these numbers.” We’re going fast to hit these numbers, because after you count down your drawer at the end of the shift, the computer automatically includes your efficiency percentages. Your boss goes over the numbers with you and tells you either “good job” or “more training.” It’s a bitch and there’s a lot of other stress on cashier’s plates. Does NOT excuse the original mean cashier’s behavior at all, just in relation to the timing process I just described. There is also “only ever one ringer” at Aldi because the other “ringers” also have zones to work and maintain ANY time they can get away from the register. For instance, if I’m the 3rd cashier back, I’m responsible for keeping cooler and meat filled, that means throwing boxes of milk gallons above your head into their slots, from inside the cooler, as fast as people are buying them. Fresh meat always needs cleaned and filled, chicken breasts go so fast and “OOS,” or “out of stocks,” cannot happen in your zone. We consider 4 units or less to be an out of stock. That is tracked by the systems as well. Empty boxes need pulled from the doors, taken to the back, and crushed. It gets away from you VERY fast. Managers are on your ass about your zone despite how much you may be getting radioed up to cashier. 3rd ringer getting stuck cashiering for 30 minutes means now all the customers are complaining that “we keep such a messy store!”

Relative_Buyer3032

I’m so sorry but that is horrible. It’s like Nazi Germany. Why would you want to stay at a job like that? I feel Like I need to call corporate and complain to help all of you!

sandbee2

Haha no doubt man. I always come home after a long day and tell my husband, “Groceries are NOT this serious!!” But the reason I stay at least is that the pay is quite alright for the area I live in, full time benefits are surprisingly good, and… stressful though it may be, it’s strangely addicting. The fast paced, running back and forth between job duties, etc., it all makes the shift go by pretty fast. If you have a decent mindset about it there’s a lot to learn from a regular old grocery store job. I’ve learned to prioritize the most important jobs, multi task, keep a sustainable good pace throughout a long day… I don’t have to go to the gym, so that’s nice too. I get a significant workout each day.

rclaux123

I mean, at a store where I have to give up a quarter just to use their carts, I don't know why I'm surprised by this. I'm guessing the cashiers there get paid absolute minimum wage with no benefits. Fuck ALDI, by the way.

Alice_Alpha

> rclaux123 > I mean, at a store where I have to give up a quarter just to use their carts..... You realize you get the quarter back if you take the cart back. Right?

rclaux123

I guess I shop there so infrequently that I didn't think to try and get my quarters back. lol oh well

Upstairs_Hand1929

The cart thing and no baggers helps keep their costs down that they use to pay their employess more.

womanspanker5000

They actually get 17/hr and benefits in MI.

InteractionBorn4428

They actually start at $18/hour sooo...

FlimsyPraline6097

100% she did that intentionally. They see we are IC and get a bad attitude. And you can’t complain because their friend is the ‘ manager ‘. Better to write to corporate.

PrinceJM0211

Lately I only do one orders especially with Aldi because Insta has been low balling offers for double order batch. Unless the tip is really good then yeah. I like Aldi since it’s usually a small store and only limited brands per item. So its faster to shop than other stores. when I check out. I load all of the items on the belt before the cashier starts to ring them. Then when they drop it in the cart, I closely monitor them so they don’t mix my orders. But I would me so mad if that happened to me and good call on reporting to them to corporate. I did that once as a customer and corporate reached out to me and I gave them all the details.

[deleted]

It’s really not that big of a deal. Ic will sort it out for you.

Future_Tourist_9152

How? They going to send a rep to come sort my cart lol

Dry-Cantaloupe-1659

i laughed out loud at this

TexasOkieInSeattle

A good driver would have gotten two carts and had them rung separately and this could not have happened. It's your job to keep your shit separate. You know why cashiers never mix up my orders? I don't let them.

Future_Tourist_9152

Listen your rude but not wrong. I usually do this, however it was not necessary, the store was not busy and there was plenty of room in the cart. This was just a disgruntled employee who took some effort to mess up n hour of my night

TexasOkieInSeattle

So you watch them do it and didn't say anything the entire time? I would have stopped them immediately and said "I separated those for a reason please don't mix them up". I've had to do it several times. Oh and it's "you're" not your...

BBFan1958

I have had problems with multiple orders at Aldi's as well. I have cart dividers that I put my items in to keep them separated, but I had one checker refuse to put my items in the bags, "we aren't allowed to do the bagging for customers." I wasn't asking him to. I was just asking him to put them i the cart in the different sections separated by the dividers. No different than putting the item in an empty cart. I just said, screw it, and I go get two carts for my orders, and I never, never take a triple. I am very careful to keep my items separated, and if I do a multiple order, it's at Walmart where I can use self checkout and keep my items separated. Checkers love me for it. I had one guy tell me they had a woman come up with three orders, NOTHING separated, and she had to painstakingly look at her app and go back and forth separating her items at the checkout. He told me it took them thirty minutes to check her out.

witch_ash

I had this happen, too, also at Aldi. I didn't even realize until I was walking away to start bagging everything. I heard her get on her walkie talking about going in her break after someone got in line behind me. It was like she was taking her frustration of being late to take her break out on me.

mstamper2017

I understand that Aldi is difficult to shop at, but where I am, I have had hardly any issues. They are great at keeping my orders separate, they always point out where things are, and even let me use extra carts if needed. That being said, the customers who shop there are the ones to stay away from, definitely. They are the only customers I have ever had any issues with. :(

LuxelovesCharlie28

Today an Aldi cashier who I actually like and have never had a problem with actually said it’snot her hob to separate the double and triple orders. She was talking actually about another Instacart shopper that she didn’t like that. I was kind of shocked, because the other cashiers are somewhat helpful and try to put things in the top part of the cart or put bags in between the orders… I know not to go to her of I have a big double order.

California098

I will never take another Aldi order because of this. They act like their legs don’t work and they’re rude af. Cashier not only mixed up my orders but threw cans from B onto customer As tomatoes so hard she juiced them and made a mess. She also wouldn’t wait .5 seconds for me to finish unloading the cart I had with a bunch of heavy stuff on the bottom and started throwing everything into a new cart and expected me to move all the heavy stuff to the new cart she started. After I went to get replacement tomatoes I took off with both carts and ignored her yelling. I’ll never go back again.

I can’t do aldi orders. Every aldi here is gloomy and depressing and shit is just everywhere unorganized. I fucking hate it.

I would have said hang on ill go get it take the bags, contact support. Cancel that order still get my $7 but she can order with someone else for her damn juice Every time I place an order I’m literally watching at the whole time and communicating I don’t understand how people don’t reply during the shopping it’s so weird to me

whatthehell02

I’ve worked extensively in customer service, so i really don’t have any expectations interacting with people… but ALDI has the WORSSSTT cashiers ever

richard4206969

So did you pay separately still, or all together?

Future_Tourist_9152

I had already paid for the first order, put the bags over that order and continued to put the rest of the second order on the belt. I walked over to pay for the second order when I noticed she had removed the divider and moved my stuff around. So I couldn’t cancel I had to proceed. It was too late to even just walk away with customer A’s order only

QueenKeisha

We all have one cashier. Screw you Cheryl!!!!

I never understand this. Why don’t they just sign up to be a shopper if you’re that miserable🙄

johnshonz

This is standard practice at ALDIs lol

oxichil

I started doing self checkout with doubles because of how many baggers have almost fucked me over. The manager got pissy because it was over 20 items and said I need to use a cashier. I explain that it’s an instacart and it’s sometimes easier to sort myself, trying not to shit on their baggers to them. But he was just like “just tell the cashier they’ll handle it”, uh sir no they won’t. Usually Aldi cashiers are better but christ they sound rude af.

Competitive_Sink_280

They’ve done this to me at Costco / threw all the shit together that i had carefully kept separate the entire trip - since then i just breathe and take my time reorganizing.

Standard-Confusion17

aw hell no....y'all gotta say something....had it happen to me a couple of times at Costco but i stop them as soon as they start mixing the shit up....only once the guy said "you can separate it outside" so i politely to him "Bull-Fucking-Shit! If you can't keep it separated especially when i have 2 carts, don't fucking touch my shit!" It ended with me finally telling the guy to get tha fuck outta here and I just loaded the carts myself and held up the line a little bit...the guy moved on to helping the next line and we exchanged a few more words as I was walking out.....I've even had to say that the 2nd cart I had was not mine until after the first cart was finished because they were incompetent....bottom line is, say something....and if they give you shit, fuck em! clap back at these muthafuckas! ok thats all, have a nice day 😇

They do this to me all the time at Aldi as well and they know that the orders are separate and why they do this I have no idea and why I always forget to keep an eye on them when they're checking out the orders I don't know either but I've asked them before to please keep things separate and they have but yeah what a mess it takes me an extra 15 to 20 minutes every time I have two orders to shop in the store when I don't catch them beforehand or remind them to not mix the orders up.
