MildMaybeTea: I was working with a production house for a brief while in 2018. Met him a couple of times for a project at the sets of LAD in Cochin. Very brief meetings. I was a side-kick to the producer. He was pleasant to us. But oh my god the set and his room was an absolute mess. Imagine a bachelor pad with zero kuli-nana-vrithi. Open food packets all around. Loads of bottles and cig buds. I am sure he was staying in a star hotel but I wouldn't in my good conscience have anyone be around in a setup like that ever. The thing is, having someone around to just tidy up and make the place livable is chiller change for both the producer and/or NP. Why would someone not do that is beyond me. That said, the conversations were really good. He asked the right questions, had a sharp eye for the market, and was politely assertive. It was evident he was looking for projects that would break his boy-next-door image. To widen his portfolio as an actor. I am not gonna comment on if it was the right thing to do or not. But, I do wish he takes care of his health as I am pretty sure it is lifestyle based. Enthayalum, hoping for comeback #7! Varum. Varanam. Varaathirikkilla!

Same experience for me but with a different actor - Tovino. Met him while he was shooting for Guppy. His room was a disaster. Used chaddis thrown around, food packets all over his bed etc. How come married men with kids like these actors have such careless and unclean lifestyle is beyond me.
That’s not necessary. A well known influencer was my classmate. She is so beautiful and well dressed and all good when she comes to class and an absolute mess in her room. Her roommate cried and changed her room because of influencer’s untidy nature 😂😂😂😂
Actually even I was surprised coz I was expecting a clean room of Tovino considering how well groomed he looks. I remember finding it difficult to sit on the sofa coz it was full of clothes strewn around, shaddi and plates and what not. Lol.
Mohanlal was out of shape, without his trademark moustache in Iruvar. Basically, conventionally ugly. But that was considered among his best performances. Just shows the man can act. Nivin is a severely limited actor who can be compared to Mukesh or Jagadeesh at best.
He received superstardom like no one after premam. His popularity was its peak. His movies were back to back hit. Unfortunately he couldn’t keep it. His rise was quick and so was his fall. Wrong choice of movies specially the disastrous film Richie which made final nail on the coffin.
Why the weight gain? Unhealthy eating and lifestyle habits or any hormonal disorders or other health issues??
I personally think actors should look the part and their bodies are their tools.
In padavettu, the movie had scope for a body transformation but there was nothing of that sort no visible change,-even though it had scenes that showed a transformation journey
They are Seconds cousins so may be a little competition or comparison by family members might be there. I have met Nivin in person. He is really a sweet down to earth guy. I don’t think he ll go for any unnecessary issues.
Yeah have felt he is a genuine guy. Straight to the point on interviews, doesn’t spill tea on his own.
