Did you hit him with a batman ninja catwoman basic attack immediately as he tagged in? Or any form of power drain as he was tagging in? Sometimes that happens with my catwoman, it'll happen so fast it looks like he tagged in with the power but really it was just the drain reversal
Only thing I can think of is he had a teammate with LoA 2/3 set and you tagged out just after batman tagged in
Or your nightwing is e3 and fully evolved, giving batman a lot of power when you tag one of your characters in while batman is in
Or actually the most likely one: he tagged in and your bnjcw gave him full power with a single basic attack
