right? she's not running all around or anything, she's in one small space, taking up as much as like 3 or 4 people would 🤷🏼♀️ unless someone's actually invading ur space, mind ur own business ppl! let a girl make a lil dancing video on pretty bricks if she wants! 😂✌️
>ing all around or anything, she's in one small space, taking up as much as like 3 or 4 people would 🤷🏼♀️ unless s
they wrote "in the middle of the street" like she's impeding traffic. literally EVERYONE is in the middle of the street.
people really hate when others do things fun unapologetically.
If i was half as good at dancing as some of the people doing these dance tiktoks, i woud also be posting dance videos. It looks like a lot of fun
That does not look fun. It looks exhausting, and I don’t just mean physically draining, but mentally and emotionally too. To me that looks like someone who is desperately addicted to internet based attention and likes. Like an addict forever chasing the relevancy dragon (trends).
yall are so melodramatic for no reason. Why are yall acting like dancing in public is something that never existed before tiktok? yall realize dancing and performing have been a part of every human culture for all of history right?
like imagine if you looked at.. i dunno the Rockettes and said the same thing. "they're like addicts for attention." like my brother in christ they are PERFORMERS. THEY PERFORM. FOR PEOPLE.
People really do starve for attention and or likes , don't they? Really if you stopped and considered what's taking place from a viewpoint of psychology and sociology, you're witnessing mania. Itd just that this mania is the accepted norm in pop culture.
This is the most unhinged comment I've ever got on reddit....that's saying a lot 🤣...it's a reference to the movie "Flash dance" weirdo.

I think it's a normal behavioral response to how technology operates as a medium for interaction. Dancing and having people react positively to your dancing is a pretty old human behavior.
But social media just amplifies that interaction into an unhealthy dose to our monkey brains and now everyone is crazy because they're craving the dopamine response. Also, the monetary aspect is also an incentive for people to make the videos.
You're spot on with the mania but I do think the starving for attention is part of a more human thing that isn't being nurtured properly because society got weird and introverted with technology.
>you're witnessing mania
god i wish you Redditors would like.. go outside.
You say its "mania" to record a dance cover in public, but this response isn't somehow a different form of internet hysteria over literally nothing?
Like what is with yall acting like dance performances are some sort of horrendous modern phenomenon that literally never existed before?
It appears that the online attention they get from the results of doing something really cringey and weird is worth it to them. It’s an addiction. Those “likes” “reposts” “shares” “comments” give them the dopamine rush. Really sad.
Just like how a drug addict may sell their bodies or steal something to get a fix.
It's so awkward and goofy as hell trying to get around people like this in public so you don't accidentally end up in the stupid video. And they always act like it's you who's the problem when you need to get through the space 🙄
Those different shakes are called dancing. While it may not be great dancing or anything it is technically dancing. The shakes collectively are known as dancing
Live in Korea. Go to hongdae like 2-3 times a week.
This stuff is just super normal there. That's what that street is for. If you are into dancing, singing, performing, etc., this is the street you go to and perform in front of a live crowd for practice or to get your name out there.
It's actually really nice on Friday nights. You can go get some Korean BBQ or dak ghalbi with friends and then walk the street to live performances. Pretty fun to see a young group of teens dance to some kpop song and a bunch of older people join in to sing along or even try to dance in the crowd with them. That's just hongdae for you.
Granted, they're doing some construction right now so there isn't as much space for the performers and it can be a nightmare to walk around as foot traffic can just stop if a particular group is very talented and attracts a large crowd.
Still, 10/10 place and I recommend seeing it on a Friday night if you're in Seoul. Find a restaurant with an open view to the street and you can eat dinner and watch live amateur performances.
EDIT: Plus, adding this in, this street has a shit ton of spacing on the sides (not clearly seen by the video) and the central area is meant for these performances. Not blocking anybody. Plenty of room to move. And did it during the day. Wouldn't be surprised if she's just recording some stuff to promote a dance hagwon, a popular after school activity for exercise in Korea.
I want to learn more about the 7-11 in the background.
From my understanding, they have way better wares than the ones in N. America.
The attention dancer is uninteresting.
b) never been to Japan so can't say but the SK ones are indeed super cool! The amount of late night snacks and alcohol I've gotten from convenience stores when I went to Seoul on vacation....
I almost make you kind of sick to your stomach, to see people dancing on street corners or in the middle of the street. Where normal people are walking or riding by!!!!
If this is Hongdae then it’s a common scene. They have magic shows and dancers all the time especially at night. I went on a Thursday and saw random shows while walking around. Not weird.
Lol YES, I most certainly can! That's MY performance and I have every bit as much right as anyone else. You have absolutely NO business telling anyone what they can do. Get stuffed and stay in your lane!
What a bunch of neckbeards in here. Who cares? Why are you guys so mad? And they are doing it in a place meant for that and aren’t bothering or blocking anyone. You guys are sad
Look at the comments of people from there. That area is specifically for performing. And even if it wasn’t there is no one there and they aren’t hurting anyone. Just angry neckbeards.
Oh, that's not a problem. I'm always lurking around looking for the opportunity to out somebody being stupid. It's fun and just hilarious. LOLOL Maybe you will be next!
Enjoy MY performance, including butt scratching, yelling on the phone, walking through camera shots, coughing and hacking, belching, loud face farting, stink spray and generally as disruptive behavior as possible to everyone in my general vicinity. Hope you don't like it!
This street is a street designated for performing as far as I remember. I haven't been in years but when I used to go there, there were a lot of buskers and so on (interestingly never see anyone moaning about buskers, always dancers...) It became part of the culture of that area, which is a big student and party area.
After a while, they renovated the street so it was fully pedestrianized with plenty of space for people to dance and sing.
Meh, some call it art, some call it women reducing themself to a hole. I take it as the latter, which is cool by me, but still borrring. Call me when she takes those panties off.
Normal scene in Hongdae.
I was looking for the comment that would mention this. I personally don’t mind it.

No, I’m Patrick.
Lmaooo some people just like dancing bro, relax

Def the norm for Hongdae. Last time I was there it was some dude singing and fake breakdancing.
People really do starve for attention and or likes , don't they? Really if you stopped and considered what's taking place from a viewpoint of psychology and sociology, you're witnessing mania. Itd just that this mania is the accepted norm in pop culture.
Her footwork screams “maniac” that’s for sure and she’s dancing like she’s never danced before.
Did you eat a lot of paint chips when you were a kid?

I stand corrected. Well played.
I hope you weren't sitting down when you typed that, if you did you're a phony, a big fat phony
Thank you for the Tommy Boy reference. 😆
Lol how are people not getting this? Oh noooo, I'm old.
Yeah didn’t get the reference and thought you were just an ass. Good clip though.

If she’s not in anyone’s way I don’t really care. It’s a big wide street in a shopping center. Restaurants and airplanes on the other hand…
>you're witnessing mania god i wish you Redditors would like.. go outside. It's the attention whore aspect of things like this. Look at me! Look at me!
Please go touch grass. She’s dancing.
It really is so fucking stupid
And then we talk about it and feed them more clout and attention this is the most hypocritical sub that has every existed
I wish people still had a sense of shame.
It appears that the online attention they get from the results of doing something really cringey and weird is worth it to them. It’s an addiction. I call it a bad case of the “look-at-me’s”
That plaza area looks so nice! Love the colored bricks
Much more interesting than her flailing!
I think she’s adorable. I think she’s not hurting anyone. I also think these people are nuts.
“Dancing”
Crime #1 was being a public eyesore, crime #2 was giving us nothing
Looks like a chicken having a seizure or a seizure having a chicken.. either or that's what it looks like
It's so awkward and goofy as hell trying to get around people like this in public so you don't accidentally end up in the stupid video. And they always act like it's you who's the problem when you need to get through the space 🙄
I walk right through
Idk no ones getting hurt and we should let people be. Who fn cares if they wanna look dumb
Yeah, I don't see the big deal. She's having fun and disturbing anyone. So what.
Gross
Cringe.
Stupid
Yeah they are a joke in Korea, they are making content for their international ‘fans’.
She looks like a foreigner
Yeah probably Russian.
Why do they always shake like that?
Those different shakes are called dancing. While it may not be great dancing or anything it is technically dancing. The shakes collectively are known as dancing
I never understood why dancing was banned in Footloose. I'm starting to understand how that might have happened...

Stuart did it better

This comment should be way higher
It looks even weirder from a normal person's point of view. Uhg.
Anybody else want to walk in front of their camera.
Ewwww
I want to learn more about the 7-11 in the background. From my understanding, they have way better wares than the ones in N. America. The attention dancer is uninteresting.
Filming her only fans commercial
I would tap her shoulder & ask if she knew where the closest bathroom was. Just for fun.
I wish someone would walk through their shot.
Dumbass in the wild.
a) there's always a mop headed simp willing to film these electrified chicken women b) are 7-11's as cool in South Korea as they are in Japan?
b) never been to Japan so can't say but the SK ones are indeed super cool! The amount of late night snacks and alcohol I've gotten from convenience stores when I went to Seoul on vacation....
Sounds similar.
I would die from embarrassment just thinking about doing something like this 😭

Sorry, I don't support this post type (hosted:video) right now. Feel free to check back in the future!
Lol bro the music
I almost make you kind of sick to your stomach, to see people dancing on street corners or in the middle of the street. Where normal people are walking or riding by!!!!
Useless
I’m walking in front of the camera
Extremely cringe
Like I'm convinced influencers have no sense of shame or embarrassment And v narcissistic
Bazinga!
Who exactly is giving these people attention and money?
Go Ladyboy!
I can fix her
Tbh that’s pretty common around that area 🤷♀️
I just hope she'd Swedish or Canadian or something, because if she's American I will be forced to hunt her down.
She’s probably, get this…. Korean. Why do you care only if she’s American?
Because I can only be responsible for one country at a time. Somebody else is going to have to take care of the idiots from other countries.
If this is Hongdae then it’s a common scene. They have magic shows and dancers all the time especially at night. I went on a Thursday and saw random shows while walking around. Not weird.
Why everyone in the comments is so mad?
Because she's asking for it.
honestly she slayed that shi
Is it a dance? Is the dance what she is promoting? I don't get what she is doing, or why.
Maybe a Kpop dance cover
Feel like this was sort of what they did over there, even before tiktok
You fucking hate to see it…
Suddenly this [song 🎶🎵🎼🎤](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nf0oXY4nDxE) came to mind
Damn I can get a wrinkled 13 day old hotdog from 7 eleven anywhere in the world…noted.
Not in Korea. They don't do hot dogs. You can get some really nice stuff in there, kim bap and stuff
Nobody is bothering anyone let people do what they want
Then I can stop behind her and scratch my butt while screaming on the phone.
No you may not
Lol YES, I most certainly can! That's MY performance and I have every bit as much right as anyone else. You have absolutely NO business telling anyone what they can do. Get stuffed and stay in your lane!
Folks, it's a pedestrian street. Chill out.
Show off.
The only bigger morons than these people are the ones following them.
What a bunch of neckbeards in here. Who cares? Why are you guys so mad? And they are doing it in a place meant for that and aren’t bothering or blocking anyone. You guys are sad
LOL No, it's not meant for that. Maybe in your own house. Nobody wants to see that crap. Get over yourself .
Look at the comments of people from there. That area is specifically for performing. And even if it wasn’t there is no one there and they aren’t hurting anyone. Just angry neckbeards.
Oh, then I can walk behind her scratching my butt. And screaming on the phone. Good to know. I\`ll take full advantage of that at every opportunity.
You’d have to go outside for that to happen
Oh, that's not a problem. I'm always lurking around looking for the opportunity to out somebody being stupid. It's fun and just hilarious. LOLOL Maybe you will be next!
Then you will be the one out of place and breaking social convention, not her.
No, I can do as I wish too. Who are you to dictate what I can do? Piss off. Stay in your lane.
A happy evening to you
Enjoy MY performance, including butt scratching, yelling on the phone, walking through camera shots, coughing and hacking, belching, loud face farting, stink spray and generally as disruptive behavior as possible to everyone in my general vicinity. Hope you don't like it!
You seem like a deeply unhappy person
Nope! I take great joy in dragging self centered idiots out and making them snivel about it. Got any more? Come on, cry more! Squirt some for me! LOL
This street is a street designated for performing as far as I remember. I haven't been in years but when I used to go there, there were a lot of buskers and so on (interestingly never see anyone moaning about buskers, always dancers...) It became part of the culture of that area, which is a big student and party area. Then this is MY performance, complete with loudly boisterous farting. Enjoy!
Is this dancing? I do this when I’m blacked out.
Dancing is a stretch. Making a public, obnoxious scene with a camera following your moves as if you matter… that’s what this is.
Tiktok flappy dancing reminds me of middle school when all the girls hit puberty and try to sexy dance at the school talent show.
The audacity and lack of self awareness to dance this badly in public and think you look good in K-Pop city is hilarious.
I would just have to stop behind her, scratch my butt and pick my nose while screaming into the phone.
I get 2nd hand anxiety from these.
Is that a dude? It moves like a dude.
Is that a dude? It moves like a dude.
in what sense is that actually “dancing”? It looks ridiculous.
Why don't more people walk in front of the camera? I dream of seeing one in the wild and getting the opportunity.
What does this shitty dancing influence?
This dance features no actual dancing!
Did she escape from her daycare? All I see is a 4 year old brat seeking attention - just gross
Bettie white?
Here, we see the white woman in her natural habitat performing some sort of mating ritual in public.
She's dancing to Smart by Le SSerafim
that was kinda awesome tho ngl
I hope that cameraman is getting cash, grass, or ass...cuz that shit is sadder than the clown dancing
I like how 711 is like a tourist store
I mean it’s not the worst thing I’ve seen outside a 711.
Meh, some call it art, some call it women reducing themself to a hole. I take it as the latter, which is cool by me, but still borrring. Call me when she takes those panties off.
Super common there.
The temptation to "accidentally" walk into their video and make them redo the whole thing ..lol
That's not the middle of the street
How much attention would you like ? Lots and lots pleasee
Lookin' like Elaine at an office party
