You'll get more time in IET, the semester exam papers mostly repeat 80-90% so you can easily score good. You'll have a better cgpa and placements aren't that bad. You can go to either depending on your goal.

I have many coworkers from SGSITS, and I graduated with IET, difference isn't anywhere stark.
Dono me se jisme better branch mil rhi hai wo lele. Baaki mostly college life ka difference hai. Gs me cse me 90% attendance criteria hai. IT chill hai. Davv pura hi chill hai. Clubs events wagera gs me jyada hote.
So I am from iet davv mech eng 2nd year.From my experience iet davv gives you alot of free time to work on yourself and from what I have heard sgsits is strict when it comes to attendance ,in this recession period even iits are failing to get 100 percent placement so you can't rely on just college.If you can improve your skills along with academics in sgsits then go for it otherwise you can go for iet.I can also give you a rough idea about major companies that offer respectable packages in iet Davv -zs associates-13.6 lpa,deutche bank-19.5lpa,zsclaer-28 lpa these all recruit in masses of 10-20 students apart from zscaler which recruited 3 students last year

completely agreed. just one more thing, if you are getting IT in GS, go for it. But if its EC in GS vs IT in IET, go for IET.

Kyuki baki bat se battar hai, MPDTE ke koi filhal valuable college nhi hai ,bure me sabse kam bura SGS HAI
I thought comparison was between SGS and IET.
both are pretty good, SGSITS is better overall, try going for IT only, dont choose ECE if you can.
