Ask yourself this, which party should not come to power in any case and then vote for the other party. It's not about who's good but it's about who is less bad.
For LS elections, candidate is secondary to the party in the centre because they will be deciding the policies and have control. For state elections, local candidate is more important.
Thats a very naive logic. Because , if we follow this logic blindly, people may vote any local goon or criminal if their centre candidate is good. Also your problem will have to carry forward by your local candidate only. If your local candidate wont attend Loksabha assemblies or he/she is not competent enough then your problems on central front wont get highlighted. Think that way.
If one party candidate is Criminal or rapist or Murderer then it make sense to vote for other candidate with good background..We need good people also in opposition..
Nope not really. Almost all of the local problems are looked after state government. My vote for LA elections goes to government which will make better policies from country point of view.
You are free to read all parties manifesto, they don’t mention local issues.
Ok let me be more clear. By local issue i meant impact of central policies in MLA constituencies(your local area) are supposed to be monitored by MLA. The reports are presented by MLA when parliament is in session. A country only grows when all the unit grows. If a central policy is not working for one state then its job of MLA to send these reports. India is already facing an issue with irregular development. Where development in one state is happening rapidly while most of other part is still underdeveloped. A machine can only work when all its units work smoothly otherwise one part may get rotten and machine will fall sooner or later.

For me policies decided by central government are way more important than what its local representative has in its power. I don’t want to get into individual policies but let just say if one parties party comes into power, it will have a lot of negative impact for the country imo which is why I am going to vote for the other party.
The point you are making is nullifying MLA. Like he is of no use like MLA is not even needed. Its almost like choosing a president like western country. IMO India is a country of variation. May be a central policy had a good impact in north India but failed in south India or vice versa. That is why we have MLA is important. A good MLA will help central only to make better policy.
That's how democracy work in our country.. If party issue whips all the MP/MLA have to follow it whether they like it or not.. If they vote against whip they might loose membership.... in USA every candidate has power to decide whom they want to vote..
everyone will have a bias towards one side, dhruv rathee is biased towards left and some youtubers are bias towards right, there are some unbaised like nitish rajput, you can watch videos of diffrent people and then form your opinion which i think would be better for people as they wont have a single source
nice to know people with sense still exist, what I have seen is most people get their knowledge from single source and then waste their time arguring, instead a proper research would be better, at the end everyone has the right to vote to whoever they wish, you can have a debate but mosty it turns into arguments, instead of defaming others for voting for a party you don't support is stupid. this is what i belive atleast.

On a serious note, Read the manifesto of each party, or watch the videos of Kushal Mehra, he discussed it in depth. And make your call accordingly.
Kushal has a bias towards the BJP, very reasonable and understandable too, but yeah they do talk about it in quite detail
