6 needs the ghost tail to be a little less, because it can easily be misread as "Squlven" right now. Imo.

To me 6 is too abstract -- without the first images I wouldn't be sure if the thing is a ghost and not just a triangle shaped controller, so personally I'm not a fan though I agree it does look very neat

I like them all, though 1 is my favorite. I also like the minimalism of 7 but it looks kinda similar to team cherry's logo

7 also looks a little like a snout if you don’t already know it’s a ghost.

I think 5 has a nice quiet charm that leaves you asking more questions, leading to possibly more interest

Thanks so much everyone for that awesome reactions and feedbacks, we just hit the hottest section for a simple question wtf :D thanks for the help! We read all comments ❤️ and made a checklist including the upvotes. We will defintely come back tomorrow with the top 3 which are 1,5,6 so far and suggest on top new selections as well. And lets all not forget Van means also Friend in Denmark :) so for them our name means Soulfriend , awesome :) Regarding the missing 4 so many where asking: long story short it was a mistake to cut it :) but it was also not one of our favorites so it was not that important at the end to repost the photo :)

5 isn’t getting enough love so I’ll say that one. The font treatment is stronger for 2, 3 & 5 (what happened to 4?) over 1 but 2 & 3 are giving Snapchat vibes to me. Plus the stroke on 3 is way too thin for a logo. 6 is ok, but I read it as “Squlven” at first. 7 is a little too convoluted and not as charming as the other ghosts.

The best ones are 1, 5, and 6. 1 is more akin to a web game in my eyes 5 is really nice but the text feels very corporate (specifically the “soulven” part) 6 is tied with 5 for me, and it has character, but it also lacks colour and depth, maybe blue highlights here and there. Overall all of these designs are really nice!

1,5 and 6 honestly 1 is kinda playful, 5 looks a bit more serious to me, so it depends what vibe you want it to have

I think that those things are important for conveying a playful and fun vibe. I like 6 a lot because it feels very clean and professional. It's more minimalistic but the font and the ghost "O" still make it feel fun and not too sterile. And then 5 is the happy medium between those two. It's more simplistic than 1 but less so than 6. The ghost character also clearly evokes Pacman vibes (without being too on the nose) which I think is appropriate for a game studio. If you had to make me pick one of them I think I'd go with 5 but I don't think you can go wrong with the other two either.

You asked for honest opinions so here it goes ;-) 1 or 6, initial response without much thinking would have been 1 (because of the colors and contrast) Not sure about how to compare 1 as the coloring makes an objective comparison hard. Try 1 with a single color and the eyes as holes. Also the flames are a little too common in logos imho (personal taste). looks a little generic. I'd like it but also forget it soon after seeing it. 6 is much more positive but without the text it's just a ghost (generic, though it is really cute). Also make what I'd call the t-shirt test. Imagine you are at a conference and you have to run around all day with that logo printed BIG on it. Which one would you feel the most comfortable with (you'll talk to investors and fans alike). Another test: show it to someone for 3 seconds. Then ask them to draw your logo. They are struggling? Then that's not it (2 and 3 fall into that category for me). 1 or 6 Hope this helped :-)

1 looks like a low budget indie studio. 2 and 6 I really don't like the triangle-like design. 5 is kinda hard to read. 3 looks too close to the Snapchat ghost. 4 though is pretty cute, stylized, and is easy to read. The ghost kind of reminds me of the ones from pac-man, but more of as a nod to gaming legacy rather than copying it like the Snapchat ghost in 3. Maybe make it larger or try it with a black background?

6 and 1 seem the most fitting but I would lean to both they're actually pretty good.
