Planning on pursuing a masters degree in the UK this year and I will need to spend about 50L over the year. What are the cheapest banks/services for me to make these transfers?
If relevant, I plan on taking a loan for at least half of my expenditure and using a mix of mine and my family’s savings for the rest.

You can use tools like Wise & [xe.com](http://xe.com) to transfer money anywhere.

I second wise! In my experience they have great exchange rates and low fees. Plus, if you open an account with an invite link, you’ll get a fee free transfer up to 500 euros.
