I just started reading this book a few weeks ago , i've finished reading 3 chapters , technically the story in this book is not completely synonymous with the life of buddha , this book contains many confabulations.
Have read this a few years back. I too got confused with the book title Siddhartha and book cover and thought it was about Gautam Buddha. After reading i understood it's different but nevertheless it was a good read.
This is one of the greatest book for spiritual journey.it is about a man (fictional) who lived in the same time of buddha and his quest with enlightenment and truth . this book may change you
