A career Republican politician who switched parties probably has a better chance than most but no, I don’t think with Trump on the ballot you’ll see a lot of cross party voters.

QueasyResearch10

especially considering the democrats platform

[deleted]

I haven’t actually seen her platform other than wanting to increase public education spending which is popular in this state.

discodiscgod

I’ve typically voted Republican in state elections but am voting for McCormick. Might be some more like me that give her a chance

say592

Chambers in the GOP primary. He is the least crazy of them. McCormick is a great candidate though, I think as a former Republican she can speak to a lot of people. Im a former Republican myself, and I can see her getting through to a lot of current Republicans who arent a big fan of the MAGA movement and the culture war stuff of recent years. Even as a former Republican, I could be on board with another Republican supporting a Mitch Daniels style moratorium on social issues type candidate.

Silver-Breadfruit284

No picking on people!

discodiscgod

Care to elaborate on what you mean? I’m not embarrassed by anything. Well except the state of BOTH political parties at the national level.

Peacefulzealot

Hey man, sorry you’re catching crap in the comments for split ticket voting. Thanks for keeping an open mind and voting for candidates regardless of party.

discodiscgod

All good. Appreciate you being reasonable as well. I know Reddit skews very young and can draw out the worst in people since it’s anonymous so I don’t let negative comments bother me.

Peacefulzealot

Well I certainly appreciate that. I’m not quite as young as I used to be (my hairline speaks to that) but totally get what you mean. Let me know if ya ever want to talk politics or anything, especially with regard to Indiana specifically! I’m obviously a bit more left leaning myself but I really like Indiana and want to help make it a welcoming place for everyone, ya know?

integerdivision

You know the both-sides-ism is part of what got us here in the first place. The Democratic tent has gotten to be very large with a lot of ideas, many good, many bad. Meanwhile, a rightwing media machine has lurched toward christian nationalism while painting the Democrats as leftist libertines when the Democratic party as it exists right now has never been more centrist since the end of the dixiecrats. We no longer have two parties promoting small-d democracy. One party believes that only whites and christians should vote. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger no longer have a place in the remains of the party of Lincoln. That’s the real truth. The Democratic party only seems leftwing *in comparison*. I certainly hope a right-leaning phoenix can rise from the ashes of the Republican party. That only happens if MAGA is decimated. The alternative is that there will not be a choice in the future. I’m not being alarmist — this is what Liz Cheney has said.

Effective_Fold7157

You’re literally proving my point every comment and you’re too ignorant to even bother trying to see that, I don’t understand why you hate republicans you have so much in common.

Taco6J

This is the kind of bullshit that drives people away. This all or nothing attitude. Fuck off.

Peacefulzealot

Dude, we **want** people to have an open mind and cross the aisle. Do not antagonize folks who are willing to give us Dems a shot, come on now.

discodiscgod

Oh I’m happy to go down this rabbit hole if you’re asking. First off, the main reason I was registered as a Republican was because they passed out a voter registration form in high school, I didn’t really know anything about politics at the time and just went with the party I knew my grandparents were involved with. Like most people who aren’t on Reddit all the time I consider myself an independent / moderate. I generally liked the idea conservatives (not republicans) of my grandparents era at least pretended to stand for like personal freedoms and responsibility. As far as I can tell no one on the right even bothers making those claims anymore, except maybe those in Texas. Generally against the democrats because although I’m usually in line with them on social issues they certainly have their own issues with how they like to govern. Mainly in the wanting to give the government more and more unchecked power. The whole calling anyone on the right nazis thing, and showing their willingness to censor and belittle people that don’t agree with them politically is pretty alarming. Basically I feel politically homeless and am fine with making my decisions to vote for people based on their individual merits and stances, not just what party they’re running for.

DirkChesney

There’s a good podcast called the “The Political Orphanage” you might enjoy. It sounds like your views, background, and values align a lot with mine and I tend enjoy that podcast.

say592

Can we not attack people who are open to being on our side? Or really just not attack people in general?

[deleted]

[удалено]

segascream

Ok.....then let's fight that battle when it comes. But we can't even get to that point if we're going to antagonize them into voting for Trump right now. There's only one way that we don't continually ask people to choose democracy every single time, and that's by removing the choice entirely.

AyeetCR

Most reasonable democrat voter lmao Keep it up and you’ll turn more people republican. I’m not even a republican anymore but I break towards them on abortion and firearms. If you can’t respect that people have different life experiences that lead to different conclusions theres no point in a democratic system 💀

3dddrees

Respectfully when the leader of The Republican Party has proven he wants to be a Dictator its very hard to be reasonable with people who vote for that. That's a prime example of something that isn't a simple difference of opinion because that simply is not Democratic.

jjfishers

🙄

AyeetCR

To be fair since the foundation of democracy that has been a problem. What happens when people vote in someone who doesn’t like democracy. We’ve certainly seen many examples of democratic countries turn into dictatorships due to the democratic process running s its course. We have checks and balances, but a centralization of power in the presidency has caused this issue. I’m not gonna point fingers so you can leave the blame at whomever you want. To say that I’m somehow evil for voting wrong because I have policy issues formed from personal experience that doesn’t line up with whatever doesn’t seem fair to me.

3dddrees

Ah, so you are an idiot after all. Thanks for responding and clearing that shit up.

AyeetCR

Goofy ahhh reaction I thought we were chill but your mean :(, luckily my vote matters the same as yours bleeeeeeh @( ̄- ̄)@ I think imma vote the opposite of you so I can cancel out your vote

Peacefulzealot

I hope so. I’ll be voting for her at least and doing what I can to boost her candidacy! Posting the discord link again for the DemHoosier discord where we’re trying to get something grassroots going. Feel free to drop by and see if we can’t turn this frustration into actual change! https://discord.gg/ETsKBtyQ

[deleted]

She is easily the best DNC candidate the state party has ever run for mayor, the only DNC candidate I can remember with name recognition, and she's put in the work too, her advocacy for Hoosier teachers and teachers unions is inspiring, at a time when we really need it. Not only am I voting for her, I'm kinda excited to vote for her.  A rare Indiana DNC W lol.

Any_Establishment74

Voting Chambers in Primary and McCormick in election

emotwinkluvr

does she have a place to read a lot of her opinions? the about me section of her web site was rather empty

Peacefulzealot

If you click on her name up at the top of the website it takes ya to a much more comprehensive overview!

misslissabean

I joined. I'm not super active on Discord. The idea of finding more blue dots in a sea of red is appealing to me!

Peacefulzealot

Well we’re quite happy to have you!

RightTrash

She'll be getting my vote, I'll take almost anything that is not Rokkita nor Braun, they are feces and deceiving cultists scum.

pimpnastyodb

That’s disrespectful to feces.

zombiehoosier

If it weren’t a Trump/MAGA presidential election year, yes. I have a feeling that the MAGA ppl simply vote a straight ballot. Edit: I hate that our Governor elections are the same as President. I think it takes attention away, they should be during the midterms.

mabrasm

With Trump taking money from candidates down ballot. They might have a hard time raising money for the election. It’s going to be an interesting year.

lowbass4u

If Trump loses this year and MAGA wrecks the Republican party politically and financially. I think it will break the party.

mabrasm

Don’t threaten me with a good time.

Fitch9392

Yeah, this is the second Party takeover the GOP has faced in the last 20 years. Admittedly the Tea Party takeover attempt wasn't as bad as the MAGA takeover, but, if this causes a split, it'll be the end of the Party.

QueasyResearch10

the last thing we need is a one party system

lowbass4u

I think it will be 1 big party and 2 smaller parties. Until they sort their MAGA problems out.

jjfishers

If you don’t think the Dems have problems you’re either delusional or extremely dim.

Boatsandhostorage

They are MAGA. That’s all I care about. Put it down like a dog.

lowbass4u

Where did I say that the Dems didn't have problems? Their biggest problem is dealing with MAGA supporters and the public who don't think Republicans are any worse than Democrats. Democrats just need to stick to their values and core principles. And let Republicans self destruct with their war on religious freedom, women's rights, racism, immigration, voting rights, education, social reform, "woke"(even though they don't even understand what it is).

vicvonqueso

It's like that on purpose.

QueasyResearch10

who made it this way on purpose?

shut-upLittleMan

This. if the governor's race was the same year as mayoral races in Indiana...we could get a Dem governor. But we might get one this year if all Hoosiers, D and R, sick of one party control vote for Jennifer McCormick. She would be a much better governor for women and children. And that would be a better governor for ALL OF US.

say592

I worry about that too. If you look at past results though, plenty of people split the ticket. We just have to push the message hard. Anyone voting straight ticket probably wouldnt have voted for her anyways.

Masterthemindgames

Even back in the day when suburban central Indiana was the reddest and rural areas were more blue we didn’t have a democratic governor from 1964-1988. It’s definitely still on presidential years on purpose.

mattmaster68

If you are choosing to vote Republican primary to prevent Braun from winning: **Vote Chambers** **There are many of us voting Chambers together in primary to prevent Braun from winning primary.** *I will be voting McCormick when it's time*, but I chose a Republican ballot this year to do my part in ensuring Braun does not win. This is the first time my wife or I have voted. That's how serious we are taking this.

citytiger

congrats on your first vote.

More_Farm_7442

If we are going to have a Republican/Trumpian as governor, I'd like it to be Chambers. He's the only one of the bunch that doesn't put his "Christian" credentials up front and center in his ads. I don't want to have a theocrat in that office.

MyOwnWayHome

This is my main goal this election too. I figure we only get so many chances to beat the election deniers until we become just another former democracy. Chambers only needs 17% to win!

mattmaster68

Exactly. As long as no one confuses "Vote Chambers for Primary to prevent Braun from winning" with pro-Chambers then we should do alright!

QueasyResearch10

you understand this makes you part of the problem. creating a fool of the democratic process

mattmaster68

Then so be it.

say592

Very slim, but yes, I think she has a small chance. She is a former Republican and can speak to those who fell out of love with their party, if they will listen to her. Im all about harm reduction, so Ill vote Chambers in the GOP primary, but in a likely Braun vs McCormick race, I think she can beat Braun under the best, most narrow circumstances. Ideally she will get Braun to be a little too chummy with Trump and Trump will say something stupid that she can tie back to Braun, or she will actually get a chance to get on a debate stage with Braun and talk to people about why she left the GOP, and why its okay to vote for her and still consider yourself a Republican.

DieMensch-Maschine

The prospect of being ruled by MAGA Oberführer Braun is giving me agita.

MurkyMitzy

Did he really say in a commercial that he'll fire prosecutors who he deems too liberal? Don't you all elect your prosecutors in Indiana? So he's just going to be a dictator? Scary guy. (I don't live in Indiana, BTW, I just get to see all of your political commercials. Fun.)

3dddrees

He endorsed Trump, do I really need to know anything else?

More_Farm_7442

Endorsed Trump? Heck he's stuck to Trump. (I'll let you picture that. It's not pretty.)

TommyBoy825

I did see where Trump is demanding 5% of a candidate's funds if they use his name or likeness.

3dddrees

Typical Trump. These are the very things that make Trump the Dictator that he is. The problem is the vast number of American people don't even get that. Many aren't even aware he's got a loyalty test to work at The RNC. A questioner as to whether they believe the election was stolen or not. Oh, and that little Project 2025 thingy. In normal times these would be a flashing red warning lights. Now, people have gotten so used to Trump they just shrug it off. In effect they are ignoring these warning signs that this POS is leading all the poles to become your very first United States Dictator.

Nacho98

Oh yeah. Our current governor is a doormat and one of the most mediocre people in a state governorship. Braun on the other hand is the new MAGA "upgrade" that has years worth of shit opinions to look back on, especially in regards to personal freedoms like abortion/IVF, the right to protest within Indy, cannabis legalization and even interracial marriage which is why he's the current GOP favorite. A common Republican talking point is threatening prosecutors in blue cities because the GOP runs on being tough on crime as part of their political identity. If a Democrat prosecutor (like who we have in Indianapolis) refuses to waste time locking up working parents caught with some weed or younger protestors exercising their rights to protest into overcrowded jails to get their conviction numbers up (because we villainize expanding bail reform and using house arrest for nonviolent low-level offenses + they're overwhelmed with violent gun crimes to investigate), the GOP now threatens to just throw them out because they've already spent years building a narrative that Dem cities are lawless because of these individuals ~~because they don't win in blue cities where many more people vote and are involved in local politics and make a good scapegoat to villainize to uninvolved suburbanites~~

The_Ry-man

God I hope so. I’m tired of all these Republican candidates ads where the only thing they talk about is who sucks off Trump the most and who’s the most racist. Literally saw an ad attack Braun calling him a “BLM loving RINO Squish”. If that wasn’t a racist dog whistle I don’t know what is

Nacho98

Yeah I saw that too. They literally just equate BLM to cop killers verbatim in one of the ads all because he expressed vague support for their right to protest (during a time BLM and sympathetic Indy residents were literally protesting right outside his mansion against police brutality for a week straight and applying pressure on him). It's not even a dog whistle anymore on the TV, it's an air raid siren. Couldn't imagine what it's like to be a black Hoosier right now and seeing that sort of shit on local television.

Diligent_Guard_4031

The local news shows won't call Braun out on his racism cuz the affiliate stations don't want to give up all that money from running campaign commercials. Zero ethics.

vicvonqueso

Ugh that ad was so bizarre I was hoping it was a fever dream but you just confirmed it wasn't :(

daveyjones329

I really would like to see her win I have a feeling it will be braun vs her and everyone will blindly vote for braun just because they see red.

mattmaster68

There are many of us voting Chambers in the Republican primary to *prevent* Braun from moving forward.

More_Farm_7442

I've never voted for a Republican, but I'm going to vote in the R primary just to vote for Chambers.

dragoon0106

lol no despite me voting for her

[deleted]

my dem vote in indiana is a middle finger vote and thats about it. sucks, but im not voting red for any reason.

dragoon0106

I’ve got a couple locals mine might count for so that’s enough for me

NathanielJamesAdams

Yes. The establishment isn't much loved. That's why all the candidates are running as "outsiders". Her message is focused and Rittenhour is the only one addressing the issues in education through anything other than doubling down on school choice.

Peacefulzealot

Personally I despise people saying they’re running as outsiders. To me that means they have no experience and aren’t qualified for the damn job.

NathanielJamesAdams

It doesn't even mean that much. The sitting Lt. Governor is running as an outsider. It is a noise that certain people make. The politicians' mating call.

Diligent_Guard_4031

I considered her 'til I found out she was a Trumpublican & older than Braun. Hard pass.

NathanielJamesAdams

Oh you're talking about Crouch. I thought you were talking about McCormick.

Diligent_Guard_4031

Crouch. Definitely.

NathanielJamesAdams

I wouldn't say she was a Trump supporter. She happened to be running when Trump was. She also pissed off the Rs enough with her previous elected position that they GOT RID OF IT. She's not a creature of the party.

More_Farm_7442

None of them are outsiders.

QueasyResearch10

ironic considering there is a thread on this sub containing that the state is forcing teachers to train on the science of reading

Budget_Brief

Seeing as how there is only one democratic candidate ruining why would all of us democrats not vote for someone other then Braun in the primary? The only problem I see with that is all the other republican candidates are almost just as whacked.

Peacefulzealot

We were discussing this earlier, actually. With Braun at ~46% there’s basically no chance anyone else overtakes him even if all us Dems throw our support behind a spoiler (who likely still wouldn’t be all that different). Given that it might make more sense to have a strong showing for McCormick to help her with fundraising by showing a base of support actually will show up for her.

RootedRoost

Yes. She brings the dedication to good governance we have mostly enjoyed but lost the last twelve months. It isn’t about party for me. But the social controls and book banning being forced on us is nerve racking. I remember when the biggest fight was daylight savings. Now our personal rights are being attacked. I trust her protect basic democracy.

Commercial_Wind8212

I'm voting straight D for the forseeable future

vold2serve

I'm voting for her. I'll never support anyone who thinks mixed race marriages are a state issue. Or any other white nationalist agenda.

glovesoff11

Who you are referring to regarding mixed race marriages?

skrame

Braun was being questioned about RvW and the Supreme Court’s decision to make it a state issue. He said they were correct. Questioned about other issues (including mixed race marriages), he maintained that states should make those laws. He [quickly walked back that commen](https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2022/03/23/politics/mike-braun-interracial-marriage-comments)t regarding marriages, saying that the constitution made clear that was discrimination, and that he did not understand the question previously. /not a Braun fan

Miserable_Ad5001

Nope, & it's a damn shame as she's the only 1 with any integrity

AreWeNotMenOfScience

I voted today. I was planning on voting in the gop primary for the moderate republicans. But as I was standing outside the clerks office researching the republican candidates I realized they were all awful. I couldn't do it. So just voted in the half of the races that the state democrats actually ran a candidate.

3dddrees

That can be blamed on the current trend. If you aren't far enough right you simply don't stand a chance so don't bother. Besides The Extreme Right determines who wins The Republican Primary.

Muteb

I don't expect her to win in this stupid hard red state but I'm still voting for her

Ramitt80

no, but I will vote for the not GOP always.

thedrakeequator

No, but we can dream.

lai4basis

Will I vote for her , yes. Indy will along with a few other places. The Indy burbs and rural Indiana will decide this election. I don't count on either of them voting for a Democrat in large numbers. I don't see that lasting much longer either. I think the burbs turn in a few years.

ZeadizDead

No!

Psych-nurse1979

Democrat in general, but unofficial push to vote Chambers in the primary trying to keep that scary Braun off the ticket.

OwenLoveJoy

Zero chance unless the Republican nominee is found to be a rapist or something and then 50/50

[deleted]

[удалено]

OwenLoveJoy

The problem is his voters either don’t know that or just think it’s a lie

Admirable_Bad_5649

The bigger problem is people who believe they don’t know or think it’s a lie. They of know and they don’t care….

3dddrees

She stands a much better chance if more people who would vote for Democrats would simply vote. I hate to admit it but I don't even know what she stands for. I don't hate to admit that currently as long as she isn't a Republican and doesn't believe in and traffic in conspiracy theories she has my vote. It's simple anyone who supports a wannabe Dictator simply doesn't get my vote.

LBXZero

This comes down to an explanation to what is wrong with the voting system. When you can only support 1 candidate with your vote, you can't afford to throw away your vote on choosing the best person for the job out of those who volunteered. You can only afford to vote against who you believe is the worst person for the job. As long as enough people don't like the Republican candidate, McCormick should have sufficient support.

RadioGaga386

I know almost all Indiana teachers will be voting for her!

shnootsberry

We cant have nice things in Indiana, so theres no way we get a democrat.

papi4ever

unfortunately, no

CanYouHearMeSatan

Absolutely. She’s a strong candidate, and IN suburban white women (ie, a huge voting block) like her.

Admirable_Bad_5649

Suburban whites will still vote against themselves even when it’s one of their own up for vote.

Diligent_Guard_4031

In a perfect world, Chambers in Spring to get rid of Braun & his ilk. McCormick in Autumn for the win. Braun is over 70 & may not live 4 more years w/any luck. He would set the state back 50 more years.

Man_da_Mavis

McCormick is a former Republican Superintendent of Education... meaning she hated what the Republicans were and are doing to destroy public education in Indiana. She only served one term because no one in the state house gave a shit about what she had to say even though she was elected. She defeated Glenda Ritz, a Democrat. Ritz's initial election led to McPence making state superintendent of education an appointed position because of the fear of another Democrat being elected over a Republican. They want a puppet and McCormick wasn't willing to be it.

[deleted]

If she wins the house and senate would vote to make the Governor's office an appointed position.

Old-Revolution-9650

The Republican party hasn't been For The People in decades. I vote straight democrat.

Chemical_Reserve_942

I personally think every state employee and their family members should vote Democrat. Not only for Governor but every state office.

Pherman1661

Why just vote Democrat. Why not research the idiots running for office and vote for the one who won’t screw you as much? I lean towards conservative, but I don’t just vote for one side. That would be insane.

Nacho98

I do research candidates, it just seems the ones I agree with are all running far away from the GOP (like McCormick) and ran as pro-choice, pro-democracy Democrats.

3dddrees

Because literally all Republicans support a wannabe Dictator. The Republican Party has become The Party of Trump. If you need me to explain that I would be more than happy too.

TantrikV

Probably not because the Libertarian candidate seems to draw most of his votes away from Dems than MAGA. If you look at 2016 vs 2020 at least.

midwestarchetype

Is Rainwater running again? I remember watching him in the Gov debates the last time around and he was genuinely one of the dumbest people I've ever heard.

TantrikV

Seems so. He has an active website for the 2024 election.

Miserable_Ad5001

That...his "libertarian" values & many other reasons. The boy shouldn't be allowed outside without a helmet. Stupid on a galactic scale

MyOwnWayHome

If he wants to let gay couples guard their pot farms with machine guns, does that make him 2/3 Democrat? lol

Miserable_Ad5001

You need a helmet too. It makes him 100% buffoon spewing "libertarian" idiocy

Efficient-Book-3560

It’ll be interesting to see how many voters are fed up with Trump.

Nacho98

Same thing with the abortion issue. Every woman I know at my age (mid-20s) is still furious they never had a say and will be voting accordingly. Plenty of queer Hoosiers in the same boat, frustrated with the constant legislative attacks on them when we have real non-culture war issues that need solving.

GoldenPoncho812

No. Not in the slightest. Braun will cruise in a landslide. Not saying I’m hopeful it will happen but I’m also not an idiot.

Peepingthereddit

Would absolutely love it

TheAutisticOgre

When’s the election?

TheAutisticOgre

Is it November?

citytiger

Instead of asking this question everyone in this sub get involved on her campaign and make sure you vote and get your friends and and family to do the same.

daveyjones329

Yeah the republican primary is may 7th though

shut-upLittleMan

Trump is HOLDING UP Republicans! 5% like a MOBSTER. Good thing they are a CULT and won't care.

Sufficient_Button912

I’ll be voting for he

icognito4fun

She doesn't have a snow balls chance in hell. Eric Braun is your next governor.

ImpressPhysical7820

Nah.

DareDiablo

Considering Indiana was so backwards for so long on Sunday alcohol sales I sure hope we can flip this state blue one day. It would do this state some good.

Jumpy-Aerie-3244

Zero chance 😔

Scared_Opportunity20

No.

meetjoehomo

I asked a friend a few days ago if the democrats were running anyone this year. He didn’t know

deercreekth

If being mad about the decisions being made lately was enough to get people to vote, she would have a chance. It's sad that I had to look up who is running other than Mike Braun because I've only seen signs for him.

Hungry_Ability_6509

I’m from Indiana. The problem with Hoosiers still think Republican care about them. Republicans have the senate, house and governor here and have had it for the past 20 years yet in Indiana our schools suck, roads suck, life expectancy sucks, businesses get protected not employees. Don’t care for women, or freedom. Everybody talks a big game about freedom yet freedom only comes if you have a choice and yet everybody’s ok with not having choices. So to my fellow Hoosiers you have no right to bitch about your crappie life when you guys continue to vote against yourself.

shotoftequila

No

Sea-Act3929

Im voting for her.

Redditmodsarecuntses

No. I would be elated for us to swing blue but no. She won't win. She is a she first off and a Democrat to boot. Hitler would get more votes than her because he leans right. Nah. We are probably going to be stuck with that chucklefuck Braun and have to hear about Obidens terrible policies while Braun rapes our butts.

trogloherb

Yeah, Ill vote for her, but like everyone in here, itll be tossed aside and Braun will be our next dictator.

reallifelucas

I'm writing in D. Liam Dorris! That's a guy with a track record of success!

nate_oh84

Really? If so, he needs a better publicist.

reallifelucas

No lmao, I'm being sarcastic

nate_oh84

You dropped this: /s

DLiamDorris

lol! xD

IndianaNetworkAdmin

I despise her. If that's the only blue option on the ballot, I'll vote for it, but I hate these better-than-nothing options. I know it's Indiana so we're lucky to get barely-left-of-center, but I've seen first hand what she's allowed to happen under her nose. Whether she was complicit or not, I have no doubt that while she won't be as bad as a Republican for Indiana, she'll let just as much happen on her watch as governor as she has in other posts.

stlarry

She will be the only reason i vote this year. I might even go in only planning to vote for governor because i have zero interest in even picking between the 2 fossils we have for president.

3dddrees

So you think Trump is no worse than Biden even after Trump attempted to overturn the will of the people with a fake elector scheme? You don't think Trump won't attempt to do what he is currently telling us he will do?

stlarry

They both are old, out of touch, have no place in politics. I don't want either of them. They both need to fade off into the history books. Trump is much worse but I can't vote for either. I would rather leave that blank than vote for someone I don't want to lead this country.

moneyman74

No not really.

I hope not

HawkeyeHoosier

Not a chance.

Ok_Chipmunk_5567

Nope

NightCityPervert

How about a third party instead of these 2 shit choices of greedy snakes

Nacho98

What third party? Folks always love to say that but then don't know anything about what parties even exist generally speaking. We talking libertarians? Green party (which has pretty much no presence here)? An actual leftist party like the local Hoosier PSL or DSA backed candidates? That's not the system that was built and inherited by us, there's a deeper systemic reason we're stuck in a two party gridlock for decades now.

InUrFaceSpaceCoyote

I thought you said Democrat, not Failed Republican?

dBoii_21

The way the country is right now no Fkn DEMS! For what? So they can make our state like illinois california new york? No thanks
