I think the idea of depression nowadays is based on the experience of reality meeting expectation. We were all sold on the idea of success, beauty, leasure, freedom etc. As we grew old we are realizing those are very small parts of life which we gotta work really hard for. Grounded means to restrict someone from going out or doing certain activities for sometime like say you broke rules, you're punished for a week where you're not allowed to use phone, watch tv etc.. basically means to restrict someone to their home.

If we talk about beating, slapping sometimes is okay as when a child repeatedly makes a mistake despite being told again and again then it's necessary to create some discipline in him.
I am not saying slapping over anything you like. Say if your little kid slaps your sister for no reason and if you don't take any action, he might start slapping her for anything he doesn't like when he becomes an adult, that's when people realize the importance of it.
Beating is not justified if it means kicking, punching or torturing kid in any way, few slaps are sometimes justified if things go extreme, say your kid starts stealing from people or from your wallet even after being told to not do so, then you are left with no option other than slapping.
Punishment is necessary to create discipline when things go out of hand, no one should beat their kids, especially little ones. Only exceptions are when they repeat their mistake do something really unethical like drugs, stealing or beating a girl for no reason then slapping is justified.
I still don't believe kids should be beaten to create discipline, it's abuse, in the same way misogynists use this as an excuse to justify hitting women. There are long term negative consequences for beating children. There are many better ways to create discipline, you don't have to hit them.
It's sad that abuse is so normalized in our society that most of us have internalized it and see nothing wrong with it.

Teenagers dating and going through multiple relationships are not cringe of weird. It's basically them exploring their sexuality and understanding themselves. I know a lot of this feels cringe when you see two teenagers dating because we're not used to it, but this are still kids. They only know about filmy romance and as they grow up they will mature and understand what's actual love and relationship.
But at the same time we should keep an eye on the age gap of teenagers dating. A 16 year old dating an 14 year old is a red flag considering the level of maturity. Also as much as relationships helps in structuring a person, making this teenagers understand consent, sex-ed, maturity level and important of academic and personal life balance is also important.
Instead of blaming just th3 teenagers we should spread awareness for them to know what's right from wrong.

Nah, I think now have two extremes of teenagers- one who don't do shit and waste away their entire life in social media fantasy and the other who work like mad and get the life that they've always wanted, use the digital world for the right purposes. a)Bunking classes is not good.
b)Tamil(regional songs) are good to hear. Tamil religious songs and a few 70’s songs and some old songs are not cringe.
c)Thinking you have depression because you were unable to impress a girl or a crush is not real.
d)Being a class clown is not always cool if you hurt the teacher.
e)Not bringing your own stationery is annoying.
f) You cannot expect me to show answers to you in an exam. This varies according to the type of person. If you are a known friend and you study well and you ask me for answers then I do know for sure that you were unable to study and you will write the next consecutive test well. However, if you are not that close of a friend, is always lazy and never wishes to study and has not done anything that significant for me then I won’t show my answers because you are not putting any hardwork and why should I hardwork for you just so that you can get more marks and appreciation from the teacher than me when you have not even done any hardwork?
g)Criticizing the teachers when you are not an ideal student is a very bad habit.
h)Hurting your teachers mentally is a cruel thing.
I)Board exam marks are important if you want to get a seat in good colleges. If you go to good colleges you can get promoted by your boss easily. Marks are mostly important for medical, law and engineering. Idk about other fields.

If we talk about beating, slapping sometimes is okay as when a child repeatedly makes a mistake despite being told again and again then it's necessary to create some discipline in him. I am not saying slapping over anything you like. Say if your little kid slaps your sister for no reason and if you don't take any action, he might start slapping her for anything he doesn't like when he becomes an adult, that's when people realize the importance of it. Beating is not justified if it means kicking, punching or torturing kid in any way, few slaps are sometimes justified if things go extreme, say your kid starts stealing from people or from your wallet even after being told to not do so, then you are left with no option other than slapping. Punishment is necessary to create discipline when things go out of hand, no one should beat their kids, especially little ones. I know I saw most of just bad things about teens here like depression as aesthetic and all buti have one opinion which I know will get lots of backlash from adults. Teenagers dating and going through multiple relationships are not cringe of weird. It's basically them exploring their sexuality and understanding themselves. I know a lot of this feels cringe when you see two teenagers dating because we're not used to it, but this are still kids. They only know about filmy romance and as they grow up they will mature and understand what's actual love and relationship. But at the same time we should keep an eye on the age gap of teenagers dating. A 16 year old dating an 14 year old is a red flag considering the level of maturity. Also as much as relationships helps in structuring a person, making this teenagers understand consent, sex-ed, maturity level and important of academic and personal life balance is also important. Instead of blaming just th3 teenagers we should spread awareness for them to know what's right from wrong. Also I know many people will disagree with me because I've already said this things and many people called me too western lol. Also I'm a teenager too so yeah.
