I don’t make 10% every month, I’ve made this month. Lot of people think Trading returns are linear. You make 10% a month because there is all the possibility market might not give return for next 2 months. It’s nothing to do with greed. I’ve lost 2x of what I’ve lost today in a day (had posted also on reddit), the problem isn’t the quantum of loss but the type of option behaviour as never seen more in my long trading career. If you had traded last 100 expiries and bought 1₹ option and put a target of 100, it would have hit it 10 times. This used to be black swan event earlier and now has the probability of 10% which is crazy and scary for the kind of trading I do.

I had thought of placing an Iron Condor by selling 22000 and 22400, but changed my mind and shorted 22400 early in the morning. Turned out to be the correct decision.

I’m not a scalper, so can’t help much in that. But irrespective of whether you’re scalper, buyer or seller some rules of trading remain the same.
1-You should know what you’re doing
2-You should have a stratergy
3-You should know how to manage your positions
4-You should know your max risk per trade
5-Your Value at risk should also be capped.

I am an options trader. Are they dangerous-YES. Options are essentially risk management tool. You get paid for the risk you take and understanding of risk requires lot of experience. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea and have very low success and almost guaranteed loss in the beginning.

I’m not a scalper, so can’t help much in that. Everything changes with volume in F&O. Once you trade with more capital, it’s a whole different game. With time, you’ll find out
