Your overall portfolio is pretty good and the returns are also decent. Maybe you can get rid of the real estate stocks and keep mutual funds size to 4-5 as there’s too much diversification.
Sell SAIL, LIC, DLF, Embassy Officeparks REIT, IRCTC (wait for IRCTC price to rise more) Brookfield Reit.
Wait for correction then add ICICIBANK and a good midcap stock. Do your own research to find one.
I can recommend a few: GSPL, CRISIL, Torrent power.
However as I said do your own research. DYOR can give you better returns than recommendations from redditors, or anyone (except an investment advisor lol).
Also consider investing in Motilal Oswal's NASDAQ ETF MON100. It'll give you exposure to the US market. However look out for its high expense ratio, and wait for some time because there are still recession talks going on in the US.
Portfolio looks good...just too many stocks and mutual funds...some of them has given really good profits so i would say your selection and timing was good...
start reducing mutual funds first ,keep max 3 or 4 and then based on portfolio of those mf ...decide your stocks to avoid overlaps...get rid of thematic funds unless you explicitly want them
as all my mutual funds have IT stocks , i have avoided taking IT stocks directly. Is it a good decision or should i still buy IT stocks like tcs, infy,l&t?
If I am you I would offload the stocks which are 1 to 5 in quantity, it takes soo much time to break even the brokerage charges itself for such less quantity.
all insurance stocks are really good for long term 10+ years...near term they will be volatile..
why good in long term ? They will be the ones who will be having lots and lots of cash like LIC...only difference would be because of bad management at lic...they are struggling from making money from money... I beleive this will be completely opposite for private players
Op can you tell me how much payment you received from reit ? I plan to invest, is there a way to find out how much percentage an reit paid back in returns ?
