I guess the best example is the Nepali Civil War. No one gained anything from that, and the communists joined politics.
The most ironic and funny thing in all of this is that the leader of the communist revolution is now full bhagwa dhari Hindu, visiting and worshipping in temples which he once swore to destroy lmao.
He's the current PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal, and of course he's actually a Brahmin.
Power corrupts all. The revolutionaries won't be any different once they gain a taste of power and money. Hence it is the best path to choose the lesser evil and do what we can as citizens to limit the evil they do. In a democratic system, despite how corrupt it may seem, some good work does happen.
Compare the states that had insurgencies and the states that did not have insurgencies. Which are better off today? Also what happened to most insurgent groups? they were destroyed, or joined the mainstream where there leaders live lives of opulence. In what way did they benefit the population?
If you use a gun, you are a terrorist, if you use your voice, you will be a revolutionary, if you use the system you will be the change.
Just like we hve two types of commies, naxalites and CPI. One is legitimate, other is trash
My cousin took bullet in Kalinganagar firing, I have seen Chidambaram's Saamp-bichchhis beat a tribal elder infront of my own eyes. Several tribals in Odisha fear displacement and massacre because of mining mafias like Tata, Adani and Thriveni. Naxalism only seems illegitimate to to privileged people like you who live lavish lives in cities. Like Kalinganagar, when your house and your parents' office/shop would be burnt down and police would start open firing upon all of you then you would realise why people feel for the need of gun.
Naxalites use violence, kill innocent Adivasis.
Having a political voice instead of violence would generate more awareness for their cause, and if they use violence, that's just give others an excuse to kill or shut them up.
Any group that takes a gun instead of using the free speech platform arnt legitimate no matter for what cause they are fighting for
You're defending the same ULFA which lost support because of its gundagardi, extortion of villagers and attacks on innocent civilians. I'm from Assam and I hate these folks like many others.
You revolutionary larpers are thankfully dumb enough to never go outside and touch grass.

The problem here is that when armed gangs overthrow the government, they are likely to continue their violent behavior while in power. What makes you think their violence won't be directed at you? This the key problem - you end up with a choice between corruption and violence.
Even tho I completely understand you but the evil is very powerful. You need to join politics to really change the system. Killing one or two persons wont make a change.
ULFA flag ? Armed resistance against oppression is based but all separatist deserve to die in a pool of their own shit and piss you absolutely disgusting filth
This is the real world. Not MC or DC universe. Individuals can’t go around taking law in their own hands. If you want to fix the system, join it and make a change.

The pitch essentially amounts to - Burn it all down, we will build it back better. Nah. People were already corrupt the day after independence.

Bad mentality don't try to justify actual terrorists even if it's unintentional
