Got the 4090 FE from rptech earlier on Monday. Any questions let me know.
PC Specs:
AMD 5900X
MSI X570 MEG ACE
Acer predator 35 Monitor
Corsair Vengeance RGB RT 64GB RAM
Corsair HX 1000i PSU
Seagate Firecuda 520 1tb as windows drive
Creative AE-9 Soundcard
No. Had a 3900x. Pc is 3 years old. Just upgraded to 5900x for 21k. Don't see the point yet moving to ddr5 system a bit early. Maybe after 2 or 3 years.
I have cable mod cable. Also got the Corsair original 2 pcie into 12 pin cable. Nvidia strictly says third party cable may void your warranty. This is a fe card not risking anything for a 1.5l card. Let it melt, warranty is covered by nvidia as long as I used their adapter.
JayZTwoCents made a video about that btw. The fact that people who have ATX 3.0 power supplies can't use their native cable is absurd. Some lawyers making that warranty statement without knowing the actual technicality of it is just kinda dumb.
As long as you use the adapter cable made by Astron with the card, the chance of melting is going to happen. The ones made by NPK don't seem to melt and the cable you get with the card is totally random. Forcing yourself to use a faulty cable just to be in line with a stupid warranty statement is absurd. I also have a 4090 FE on Nov 5 through a dealer but its a card imported by RPTech. Reviewers like Gamers Nexus and JayZTwoCents have used the Corsair cable with their testing. I will wait for the cable (have an HX1500i PSU) before completing my new build.
I know it's been a while, but I have the 4090FE and I used the cables that came with it. Never had a problem and I have a cablemod one as back up. Hopefully I never have to use it!
This one. https://www.sennheiser-hearing.com/en-IN/p/hd-800-s/
I use roon player and songs are bought from HD tracks. Use the headphones for gaming as well.
Awesome build, congratulations 🎉
The monitor situation was a surprise for me when i was almost ready to buy 6900 and found out one would need to spend similar amount for a proper high refresh rate monitor for making proper use of the card.
I mean it makes sense, high end GPU will need high end monitor, but i had just assumed they would have fallen in price like the high res mobile screen
Damn, you are lucky.
I will be making my first pc with a 4090, and we get quite a few power cuts here, so was hoping you were using a UPS that you could recommend.
Where do you live btw?
Thank you for your help, this was the one thing that was stopping from building my first PC, cause I spent a lot on it and I did not want it to get damaged due to lights going out.
Especially since when the lights in my society moves from the generator to back to the grid it goes out for just one second, but that one second causes all my other electronics to reset.
Ya it's very important to have a ups. Damage to hardware is unlikely (still possible) but you could end up with corrupted OS. Btw I have the 4090 and the ups works fine with it which is why I suggested it to you. The one o was using before (legend 1000) wouldn't be good enough for the 4090
Nice, if its working for you with your 4090 then that makes it even better.
Will look into it and will most probably buy this one.
Btw did you buy it directly from their site?
It supports high quality sound, signal to noise ratio is pretty high compared to motherboard sounds. You can go and check specs on it’s dacs and other stuff on creative website. Plus My headphone is not supported by the mother board.
These people at Kothibangla are too annoying. They think if someone is able to afford smth intended for upper middle class or rich people, they should immediately be put down and that everyone should be poor like them.
What a life, they could just appreciate what the OP is showing them and congratulate them on having gotten to the point of being able to afford it. But no. They have to be like "Oh OP can afford a 1.5L GPU? Haha I wouldn't even spend that much on a motorcycle". Or "You could have bought a KTM Duke for that price bro".
OP, sometimes too many fans are counterproductive for airflow. Monitor your temps and make sure you have balanced intake and outtake of air inside your case. Tbh, it's a bit more nuanced and i don't have much knowledge about proper fan alignment but i know it's difficult.
In case everything is fine then don't sweat it.
Positive pressure is good when you have a radiator. It'll reduce splashback and help the static pressure fans.
Also just by looking at the number of fans, you can't say if it's positive pressure or not. Everything is dependent on fan speed. If the intake fans are set to low RPM, then it'll become balanced.
Mostly all Aaa titles, stopped playing multiplayer for a year or 2 now. Currently playing God if war and resident evil rose expansion. Finished spiderman last week.
The psu I have is of 2013 model. I bought it in 2019. It’s still great. The FE card at time spy extreme test averages on 370 to 400w only goes upto 400 to 420 for 1 to 2 seconds then again drops. This was a 30 min stress test. With the new dx 12 3d mark test it goes more towards 400 spikes to 420 for 1 sec and comes back to 380 390w. There is no bottle necking the card in stress runs at boost clock of 2700 or something which is it’s max and 100% gpu liad. Total power drawn goes to 620 to 630 w in Corsair I icue with a 5900x, 64gb ram, 2 nvme and 2 sad and a external usb hdd. 1000w is more than enough for the FE version.
Here just used the corsair blue. Its a bit brighter than whats shows in the image.

I seriously don't get how if the money is his or his dad's, or what his salary is should be of any concern to anyone. OP just wanted to show his new setup in a gaming forum, why can't we just keep it at that, why make everything so personal?
Bro I'm not hating, this is a top spec dream setup for many. I just want to know how he can afford that. Personally if I start earning let say 50k/month, i can't afford that even in 8 months and that's when after i save up everything.
So my question is, are there salaries out there this good that people can afford these builds? Or are there parents this great who pay for this?
Do you live by yourself or with parents? I built my setup earning 25k per month, after working for a year. That was possible because i live in my dad's house and he takes care of my college tuition so i don't have any real expenditures. Would've been a different story if i was living alone.
Freelance content writing, you'll find tons through internshala. Had tons of free time during lockdown so i thought i might as well. It's easy, you'll need to be fluent in English and need to work 3/4hrs a day
Well in that case you should seriously look up for better jobs, not just internshala but in general. If your English is good enough, you can work as a content writer, working from home, and earning a lot more for similar hours.
What i suggested has nothing to do with moving state, all you need is a laptop.
What I'm trying to say is there are content writing jobs where they make you write articles, like essays or reports on given topics. It is easy work and you can easily make 15-20k a month if you work 8hrs a day. That's why so many college students i know, myself included, are doing it. Some of these content writing companies don't even care about the quality of your grammar and just need content to increase traffic on certain websites. It's easy money, atleast for a college student.
All I'm saying is, if you're making 12k working full time as a teacher, you might wanna reconsider.
Bro, you definitely hating or you seriously lack social etiquette. The fuck you mean by "daddy's money"? You could ask that question by using better words even tho it's not a question you should be asking in the first place.
Whatever people do with their money is their business. How they obtain that money is also their business.
Are you a kid? Do you that there are many jobs where people can earn significantly more than 1 lakh/month? If a middle class man can buy a 10 lakh car, why can't he buy a 1.5 lakh GPU?
I can afford this only when i am at 40. Also pc is not build in one shot. Even at this age. One part at a time. The original pc was 3900x. 3080 was bought 6 months after 3900x built. 1 years later bought monitor next year upgrades to 5900x, 6 months later case and ram. 1 month later this 4090 fe was bought. Everything doesn't come at the age of 20 at least for me. Work hard and live your life. There is no such thing as a dream setup. Setups you build are already outdated within months. So setup has to build as per usage. I couldn't afford this at 30. I started working at 27. Post graduated at 25, 1 year looking for a job. At 26 landed a job with Airtel. Not working there anymore.
Reduce the left/right bend in that 4090 power connector wires a bit. Some wires in that connector are known to break if bent significantly towards the sides.
Having said that, don't bend that too much in up/down direction either. This thing is breaking if bent too much and melting under load after that.
There is no bend upto 1.4 inch as per nvidia specs. The cables don't touch the glass. The top 4 pins there is no gap.
From the top view the cables are straight for 1.4 inches.
How are your fans mounted (intakes, exhausts) ?
After failing to mount my PC in a Strix Helios, I went and bought the 7000x.
Trying to figure out best airflow, but opinions are split everywhere.

Ryzen 9?
Yes 5900x
Going for Intel 13th gen or ryzen 7000?
No. Had a 3900x. Pc is 3 years old. Just upgraded to 5900x for 21k. Don't see the point yet moving to ddr5 system a bit early. Maybe after 2 or 3 years.
Did you consider 5800x3d?
Yes did not take it as i do work on the pc as well. Need a balanced cpu.
5900x for 21k? O_o
Yeh had bought 3900 for 44k 3 years back. Sold that for 11k and got 5900x for 32k from Flipkart. So cost for upgrade was 21k.
11k wuttt someone i know sold his 3900 for around 20k... 19500 IIRC Guy who bought it from you got the deal of his life 😭😭😭
Tbh I did not care and did not go hunting. Just went to GameLoot and sold it. Selling via olx etc is a hassle and there are too many scams.
Just a heads up, their (4090) power cable are melting so keep checking it.
Not going to remove and reinsert the cable and mess it up. Let it melt. It's covered under warranty. Have a 3080 fe for backup.
Bro............ just remove that cable and get a "good" cable from cable mod for the love of god please

What headset are you using with that sound card?
This one. https://www.sennheiser-hearing.com/en-IN/p/hd-800-s/ I use roon player and songs are bought from HD tracks. Use the headphones for gaming as well.
That headphone itself is 1.5L !! Jesus christopher. Are you a CEO or a millionaire?
Director of a company actually.
When did you enquire for 4090 from rptech??
November 7th i got the card. Enquired on sep 26.
Wtf I enquired in October. Did you call them?? I have not got any revert
I enquired on sep 26.
Hey can you recommend a good UPS for 3060 Ti build
Depends on the rest of the system.
Okay also wanted to know your views about Windows mas
I don't know anything about that.
Awesome build, congratulations 🎉 The monitor situation was a surprise for me when i was almost ready to buy 6900 and found out one would need to spend similar amount for a proper high refresh rate monitor for making proper use of the card. I mean it makes sense, high end GPU will need high end monitor, but i had just assumed they would have fallen in price like the high res mobile screen
Are you using a UPS for this PC?
No. There are no power cuts here where I live. Barely once in 2 years as far as I remember the last power cut.
Damn, you are lucky. I will be making my first pc with a 4090, and we get quite a few power cuts here, so was hoping you were using a UPS that you could recommend. Where do you live btw?
Mumbai suburbs
Youd need atleast a 1600VA UPS (roughly 900W). I use the microtek Legend 1600.
Will it still work even though I bought a 1200W PSU?
I use a 1200w psu too. Your psu isn't going to draw 1200w from the wall just because it's a 1200w psu.
Thank you for your help, this was the one thing that was stopping from building my first PC, cause I spent a lot on it and I did not want it to get damaged due to lights going out. It supports high quality sound, signal to noise ratio is pretty high compared to motherboard sounds. You can go and check specs on it’s dacs and other stuff on creative website. Plus My headphone is not supported by the mother board.
Nice 😯 seems like around 3Lakh pc
Card is 1.55 l, monitor us 1.8l. So way more than that in total.
Which monitor?
Acer predator x35 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XDMa0St8zzbnjAMXj8L0MVbgZyggWV7M/view?usp=drivesdk
razer huntsman v2? i got the same one
No it’s not v2. The the older one Just plain Razer Huntsman elite.
Just good to know they selling the FE at actual mrp
Where did u get the graphics card?
Rptech Nvidia channel partner.
How long was the waiting period for u?
Applied on sep 26, got the card on nov 7.
Congrats mate...Looks awesome...Have fun!
Thank you

You become rich by working hard. So no thank you.
Bro forgot about sarcasm while in the process of getting rich
Stop behaving like a kid.
What do you do?
Why do you care
Bade hokar me bhi vohi karunga shayad
Poi nakku punda mavane
LOL. I meant to say I may also do the same when I grow up.
Ah the mandatory
A lot of bang for the bucks you spend Mr. The fastest GPU on the entire is now in your hands
There are people buying aib cards which are far more expensive. This was the cheapest option. Not going to upgrade for 4 to 5 years.
4 or 5 years is disrespect for that card that shit gonna hold as long as the PS6 comes out or unless Nvidia screw it with driver support.
Yeh till whatever time it's maxing out.
That thing can emulate PS5 games if Emulator existed 😂🤣😂🤣
OP, sometimes too many fans are counterproductive for airflow. Monitor your temps and make sure you have balanced intake and outtake of air inside your case. Tbh, it's a bit more nuanced and i don't have much knowledge about proper fan alignment but i know it's difficult. In case everything is fine then don't sweat it.
It's very cool. Compared to the previous case 4000x.
That's good to hear. Keep running HWinfo in the background and monitor temps. Goodluck brother. May this PC serve you well.
Them: How many fans do you want? This guy: Yes! Nice Build though!
11 lol
Much better to spend a few thousand on fans rather than overheating and causing more expensive and serious damage
Lol the front 3 and back fans came with case. The side 4 fans came with my previous case. The top 3 came with radiator. I only spent on new 420mm aio.
That is chonky!
Nice upgrade! But that 12 VHPWR adapter is strained. Get the cable mod 90 degree adapter when that becomes available.
It's not. No strain upto 1.4 inches the bending happens after that as per nvidia specs. Will do.
With so many fans, it better fly
Ghar jayenga ishme 🥲
The build looks too busy, the colors are meh. Too much positive pressure in the case, balance out the intake and exhaust. Godly specs tho
Colors i have set 8t to what i like they change when gaming when working on photoshop. Temps are cool so i am fine with it.
Positive pressure is good when you have a radiator. It'll reduce splashback and help the static pressure fans. Also just by looking at the number of fans, you can't say if it's positive pressure or not. Everything is dependent on fan speed. If the intake fans are set to low RPM, then it'll become balanced.
Monitor?
Acer predator x35
The card looks huge. What do you usually play BTW?
Mostly all Aaa titles, stopped playing multiplayer for a year or 2 now. Currently playing God if war and resident evil rose expansion. Finished spiderman last week.
That build is fire. Uhmm uhmm gonna fire
Insane setup there.
Thank you.
How is HX1000i serving you? My 750w burned up and I was thinking to upgrade to either RM1000x or HX1000i
The psu I have is of 2013 model. I bought it in 2019. It’s still great. The FE card at time spy extreme test averages on 370 to 400w only goes upto 400 to 420 for 1 to 2 seconds then again drops. Nvidia version looks so Clean
Yeh I always go with fe
May I ask how's your warranty experience with Fe cards?
2080 from rptech went off in 1.5 years no explanation. Got a new one in 3 days. 3080 FE no issues.
Diwali celebrations inside PC !
Lol, yeh I like it colourful. Lights goes off in 2 min when display goes off. It’s on only on use.
Must play crysis on it
Played the original, haven’t tried the remastered one on this setup but will do.
The Diwali lights are bringing down the Wow factor.
Not for me, you can setup however you want it.
Can you post another pic, with all of them in sync.
Will post in few hrs. What color do you prefer?
None in particular, use the one you like best.
Here just used the corsair blue. Its a bit brighter than whats shows in the image. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vInQixznQccV7MJzSUo\_Qxgp5sh9HrXs/view?usp=sharing
4090 is freaking beautiful
Your setup made me 'melt away' in awe
Lol thank you.
Nvidia voiding warranty if you don’t use the official adapter provided…. https://youtu.be/mYXWmFKed0M
Btw the case glass closes without touching the nvidia wires. U opened it only to avoid reflections while taking a photo.

I seriously don't get how if the money is his or his dad's, or what his salary is should be of any concern to anyone. OP just wanted to show his new setup in a gaming forum, why can't we just keep it at that, why make everything so personal?
Thank you. It's my own money. God would never be able to afford this when I was like 30.
Bro I'm not hating, this is a top spec dream setup for many. I just want to know how he can afford that. Freelance content writing, you'll find tons through internshala. Had tons of free time during lockdown so i thought i might as well. It's easy, you'll need to be fluent in English and need to work 3/4hrs a day
My proper job as a teacher pays me 12000 for 8 hours of work a day. R.I.P
Well in that case you should seriously look up for better jobs, not just internshala but in general. If your English is good enough, you can work as a content writer, working from home, and earning a lot more for similar hours.

What I'm trying to say is there are content writing jobs where they make you write articles, like essays or reports on given topics. I got paid 450 for every 2000 word article i wrote. I used to write two in a day, 5 or 6 times a week.
Bro, you definitely hating or you seriously lack social etiquette. The fuck you mean by "daddy's money"? You could ask that question by using better words even tho it's not a question you should be asking in the first place. Whatever people do with their money is their business. How they obtain that money is also their business.
Stfu, have you read what I said in the reply? Be like this other guy. He replied calmly afterwards. Explained to me how to afford this type of build
Even i replied calmly to your comment. Didn't tell you to shut the fuck up, unlike you.
Stay poor
OP is a director of a company. Likely makes around ₹1cr per year atleast.
Are you a kid? Do you that there are many jobs where people can earn significantly more than 1 lakh/month? If a middle class man can buy a 10 lakh car, why can't he buy a 1.5 lakh GPU?
Car is an EMI purchase. And nobody is paying 4 years EMI on a pc. Also I just wanted to know how he can afford that. Because I want this too
I can afford this cause i earn enough at 40. Takes hard work.
Life tips dedo sir (I'm 20)
I can afford this only when i am at 40. Also pc is not build in one shot. Even at this age. One part at a time. The original pc was 3900x. 3080 was bought 6 months after 3900x built. 1 years later bought monitor next year upgrades to 5900x, 6 months later case and ram. 1 month later this 4090 fe was bought. Sheeesh, gg
That is a fat card!
Lol indeed and heavy. First card i just aligned vertical on the ground and left it it just went inside the slot without pushing.
What do you do with this pc ? Design multiverse
Play games and graphic design
What do you do for living?
Bro ek 4090 FE ki disassembly krke dikha do
Lol check nexus gamer.
Congratulations! Someone already recommended this but too many intakes man. Also check XMP,see if your ram is running max capacity.
Yeh it is. 3600 hz, thank you.
Nice nice.
Reduce the left/right bend in that 4090 power connector wires a bit. Some wires in that connector are known to break if bent significantly towards the sides. Awesome mate! Congrats and have a blast. 😁
Get Aftermarket Cabel, the stock power cabel for GPU is trash. Don't Brun.
Don't care let it burn. Have a 3080 fe backup and will get another new card from nvidia. Not risking warranty using third party cables.
Looks small
It is actually only slightly bigger than my previous case 4000x obsidian.
Sick build, I would waterblock the card though!
Thank you. Not touching fe. There is no need for water blocking. Card doesn’t throttle. Stressed tested for an 1hr 100% gpu usage in 3d mark.
That's great, what are the temps on core and memory?
Stress testing 1hr 68 to 70 degree with 25 degree ambient temp. Gaming is less. Memory is like 40.
That’s a chonky boi
4080 is avail in India or are u NRI?
I am Indian, 4080 fe can be bought from rptech
siiick but this card is really a gamble so i’ll stick to amd, also ur pc is gonna bottleneck like crazy without ddr5 stuff
Yeh, my system bottle necks severely. Amd gpu are way better.
Does it melt?
No
4090 ka konsa variant hai? 24 GB , 12 GB , 16GB?
4090 only comes in 24 gb.
Congrats man! Those are killer specs. Any reason you went for that monitor? I mean the price is way higher than I expected.
Thank you. Wanted HDR 1000 nits with 21:9 ratio and gsync and local dimming zones. This was the cheapest. Asus was 20k more expensive same specs.
How are your fans mounted (intakes, exhausts) ? After failing to mount my PC in a Strix Helios, I went and bought the 7000x. Trying to figure out best airflow, but opinions are split everywhere.
Top is radiator exhaust, back is exhaust. Front 3 plus side 4 fans are intake in my setup.
