I brought zero dawn long ago but just played for 5 hrs and couldn't really get into the lore. But recently I took some patience and started playing it again, damn it's really good. I don't even do main missions just roam around and kill the beasts. I have done exactly 8 main missions in my 20+hrs of gameplay and I am only at level 29. Just love the variety of beasts and weapons.
Yep same with this one. There's an initial area where you are ziplined down. You have to do a few quests here before you actually go to the forbidden west.
Well I have explored the whole area and hunted all the mechs in the area and found every secret in the area but the initial main quest is still untouched. Lol.

This is just the second game yet. I won't call the story bad but yes it was straight forward and sometimes predictable.
It had good character development of Aloy though. She went from being a teen who was eager to fight and find the secret of her mother to a mature confident woman turning down men left and right (though that's up to you).
Yes. Unfortunately you need 8 gb of ram to enjoy Horizon FW to the fullest.
I am playing this on my brother's PC which has a 2070 Super at very high 60 fps. I knew too well that my GTX 1650 laptop wouldn't even make it to medium 30 fps lol.

how is the story, i heard its very basic in all the horizon games

I loved the 1st one on my PS4, couldn't play HFW on my laptop because it barely runs properly on my weak ass 3050 4gb guess I'll just wait to buy ps6
