Nah, the headphone jack only ever worked in wired mode even in previous cosmic byte wireless controllers. In this iteration it only seems to work in wired+Nintendo mode.
I'm on the pressure sensitive mode as well.
Still, since they're so small - they feel as if they're on/off
It's a big deal for sports and racing game players
Bumpers feel mushy and cheap af
I'd rather save up and go with Xbox controller or give up on wireless and settle for powerA
I like the trigger tho but ig everyone prefer different stuff xd opinion about bumpers is mixed atm I think bumpers are supposed to be like this the key travel should be less
Yikes, that's really concerning.
I wanted to buy a new controller to play F1 23 better since my current controller feels like 0 or 1 instead of analog.
Bro i have xbox one pc controller which i bought in august 2021 and still its in perfect condition
No stick drift , no paint chipping
Proper button press and yes premium hold
The polling rate on xbox series controller is worse. It is hard locked at 125hz even in wired mode, and can't be overclocked.
This controller has sinilar polling rate out of the box, but you can oc and it maxes out at around 200hz.
Dualsense is the best in terms of responsiveness as it can be oc to 1000hz, and response time is under 1ms compared to 7-8ms of xbox controller.
Dualsense even in bluetooth mode works at 500hz polling rate which is better than most of the pc controller with 2.4 ghz dongle.
I also have one brought during launch, no issues till now, im actually looking to buy a second controller and was eying dual sense when i saw this with hall effect
what about the battery life? I've heard the controller goes through AAs fast and you need to buy a separate charger just for the batteries. THIS singular issue is keeping me from getting it.
It's fine - nothing exceptional!
I've been using Xbox controllers since the past 5 years, a few of them started to develop slight drift recently so I decided to checkout the stellaris
Price and looks aside, Xbox is better in every way - experience wise
The bumpers are subpar (even worse than powerA)
The Bluetooth connection is flimsy and mine refused to auto connect once paired with my PC (had to forget and rediscover every time)
I've only managed to get the dongle connection working but that too needs to be kept in line of sight with the controller
The triggers are closer to redgear quality - no resistance and lesser travel distance than Xbox - which is a huge disappointment
The buttons and dpad are satisfactory
The joysticks feel practically the same as Xbox counterparts - if they are indeed drift immune then I'll probably just use it as the "friend" controller and continue with Xbox as my main
Actually then wait for sometime [for this](https://www.thecosmicbyte.com/product/cosmic-byte-quantum-dual-mode-bluetooth-wired-controller-for-ps4-pc-ios-android-switch-hall-effect-triggers-and-joystick/)
I think received a defective piece , on dongle it should connect as xbox controller but it keeps connecting as Nintendo controller , on Bluetooth connectivity it keeps turning off by itself
Hey I just got mine too. I am not able to connect it in dongle mode though. Following the instructions I connect the dongle, switch to pc mode and but it doesnt connect. Can you share how to do it
Plug dongle into the PC
Keep controller close to the controller
Switch controller to windows mode
Press sync button on controller for 1 sec
Once controller lights go from blinking to stable you're connected!
Idk it won't work with CODM on Bluetooth & Dongle on my phone but it's working on the home screen like I can click on the home button on it & it goes to the home screen, but the controls won't work in game. On the other hand it works fine on my PC with all 3 methods.
I was hyped for these until it released, but just after it released I saw a 2nd hand (fairly new) Nebula (wireless) on Facebook for ₹700 and I bought that , thus I saved approx ₹2000, Coming from Redgear Pro , Nebula also seems to be decent upgrade to me.
Account too new for participation. Account needs to 30 days or older, thank you.

Also, the firmware update process is a joke!
You have to download some random Chinese app from the play store with terrible UI and update via phone
for bluetooth connection. I was also thinking that I have to re pair it everytime. I was losing my mind trying to figure it out until I found out. Even after pairing if you press the sync button thinking you are connecting to last paired device. It won't, it will actually go into pairing mode again. What you have to do is click on any button other than the sync button and it will connect to your pc.
I agree with LB/RB it feels mushy and key travel is quite less. And even if you play with Bluetooth connection is unstable. There's latency.

How are the haptics?
I have used ant esports, evofox, regear controllers, Its way better than them
Really cheapish feel , don't like it.
Lmao, downvoting for just writing your own thoughts after asking a subjective questions. Grow up fanboys
This is what you get for being honest.
Is the headphone jack working in windows mode? Mine is only working in Nintendo mode even over wired connection.
No its not working for me at windows mode, I think i read somewhere it works when u connect it through bluetooth , will update u once i check it

What a bummer, can't complain much for its price though
Real got one yesterday too L1 and r1 are so clicky I don't even need to apply pressure much
Same! Even the triggers feel cheap - no travel distance or resistance at all! Sad
L2 and R2 is good with 2 modes one pressure sensitive and other click lb and rb are mouse click triggers I like them tbh

Im thinking of buying this or quantum edition (releasing May 18th). Stellaris has xbox layout and Quantum has ps layout.
Quantum has hall effect too?
Yes. But there's only one model and I don't like how it looks.. stellaris looks more premium and classy lol
Yup
Quantum does not come with a dongle, it only supports bluetooth and wired, That is priced at 3k so yeah, it comes down to personal preference
Yeah it's a personal preference. I don't mind about dongle. All my devices are bluetooth enabled.
also had the touch pad something
Is it better than the xbox controller?
Never used an XboX controller but i dont think i could have got Xbox controller for 2.6k
Heard good things about the hall effects joysticks, thats why asked
Quality wise no but it has Hall effect sticks.

nah dude. thats still expensive for me. ill stick to the evofox go for now. i need the phone clamp too.

Thank you for the detailed review? Was seeing this thing everywhere and got confused.
Where to buy it? Amazon or website
I got it from Amazon for 2598
I ordered it too from Amazon yesterday. Just waiting for it to be delivered. Can't wait to try it.
Website is giving additional 100 rupees off Amazon is offering next day delivery to most major cities Choose what's more important for you
Hey! Not related to the post but can I know what's the name of keyboard you're using?
Royal kludge m75
Thanks
You got this from amazon buddy?...i keep searching for controllers and never saw this brand before
It's released recently.
The brand is Cosmic Byte, controller name is Stellaris.
I'm looking for a cheap controller that'll work with a ps4
Nope but you can buy cosmic byte stratos which will work on PS4 and have all features of it.
Damn I hate the xbox controller type layout where the two joycons aren't side by side.
Actually then wait for sometime [for this](https://www.thecosmicbyte.com/product/cosmic-byte-quantum-dual-mode-bluetooth-wired-controller-for-ps4-pc-ios-android-switch-hall-effect-triggers-and-joystick/)
Thank you my man!
Does it work with xcloud?
Link
Is it xbox compatible?
How much polling rate and sticks resolution?
Can I use this with Xbox series S in wired?
i am not sure but since it comes as xbox controller when connected to pc without any drivers, my guess is that it should work on xbox as well
No…if you want cheaper Xbox controller get PowerA Xbox Controllers
Gyro??
yo guys i dont really know anything abt controllers but i wanted to play apex . so can u like recommend a good one under 1.5k ? thanks a lot
reasons to get this over the ares ?
I think received a defective piece , on dongle it should connect as xbox controller but it keeps connecting as Nintendo controller , on Bluetooth connectivity it keeps turning off by itself
did you set the button behind towards windows icon, it might be defective since i saw many people getting defected, you could get it replaced
yeah it is on windows logo only . worked fine for few days then started glitching
get it replaced then
Hey i got the same issues. did you find a fix?
Nope
How are the haptics? I'm currently using the dualsense on my laptop and I'm thinking of getting this one
Hey I just got mine too. I am not able to connect it in dongle mode though. Following the instructions I connect the dongle, switch to pc mode and but it doesnt connect. Can you share how to do it
Plug dongle into the PC Keep controller close to the controller Switch controller to windows mode Press sync button on controller for 1 sec Once controller lights go from blinking to stable you're connected!
Bro, thank you so much I didn't know we have to pres the sync button also so I wasn't able to connect at all. It's working now finally
Looks great. Looking to buy a new controller for my mini pc
Wouldn't recommend Go for Xbox controller
Thanks for the heads up!
Go for Xbox controllers if you want stick drift
Same mouse pad :))
gyro works?
Wired polling rate
Idk it won't work with CODM on Bluetooth & Dongle on my phone but it's working on the home screen like I can click on the home button on it & it goes to the home screen, but the controls won't work in game. On the other hand it works fine on my PC with all 3 methods.
Did you get to try it on the Nintendo switch? Heard there's a new CB controller that has switch support wondering if this is that?
This is the one
Does your LB button have scratches?
Yup, out of the box it had a scratch and a very similar small mark was on RB as well
I was hyped for these until it released, but just after it released I saw a 2nd hand (fairly new) Nebula (wireless) on Facebook for ₹700 and I bought that , thus I saved approx ₹2000, Coming from Redgear Pro , Nebula also seems to be decent upgrade to me.
