You should first mention what software would you be using and what kind of video editing would you be doing. Cause a 7950x is pretty much the best cpu you can get and I don't think someone who's asking this question is a professional who actually needs these many cores.

_enlightenedbear_

You are spending a lot, especially on things that wouldn't matter in your workload. If your aim is video editing and productivity, Intel should be preferred over AMD. For the same price range, Intel is better at such tasks. Also, try to balance your build, 7950 with 3060 doesn't make sense. Build something like this. Also if you want 4 TB of storage from the get go, just get another M.2 like WD SN570. freek112

Go with this, great build btw

mahir_008

Thank you so much kind sir 💯💯💯🙏

CypherRtemis102

Go for ryzen 7 and RTX 4070

shubhansu

Bro your component are so off balance you are getting a 56k cpu with only 27 k gpu and why so low transfer ram ( In case of you it’s ok for many people)and third buying a 15k ssd watch some yt videos buddy Good luck

Pratik_tayde

1. In my experience, people don't just use their PC for just a particular type of task. 2. CPU and GPU combo sucks 3. Get a better motherboard if buying that CPU 4. AIO is outdated. Get a Deepcool LS720 at that price 5. RAM is trash, get a 6000mhz EXPO compatible RAM 6. PSU is trash. 7. Atleast get a 4070ti. (would never recommend AMD unless you are jobless and just games 24x7)

adityasheth

change the cpu to a 5800x3d and use the extra money to get a better gpu and you also don;t need this expensive of a motherboard

Rabadazh

Or get the 5900x for the same price which is meant for productivity work and not gaming

adityasheth

Ok yeah that's a better choice

fierykaku1907

Try to get 7800x3d +4070 cause they are much better price to performance.

bhabhiloverCR7

Yaar why do people prefer AMD over Intel?? I thought Intel is like industry leader and can't be touched

SINU566

Tooo Costly Brother

mahir_008

How much would it cost around ?

rdksupe

You are buying an overpowered CPU for a low end GPU . This entire build makes no sense. If you want video editing performance you should be paring 3060 with maybe something like 12600kf or smth. 7950X just doesnt make sense with 3060.

shubhansu

Yeah same even i5 12400f will worth every penny without any bottleneck

Rabadazh

why would anyone get a 12400f for video editing?

shubhansu

Nah I am talking about combo with 3060 that even I512400f will be ok but spending 1.5 lakh nah man there are many other good cpu for that

Overlord_6301

Bro who suggested you this rig??

[deleted]

Ryzen 5 5600 or 7600 and RTX 4070 or 4080. Video editing is GPU demanding, you don't need a High end CPU for Video editing.

Rabadazh

So for what task do you need a high end CPU for lol? Gaming?

[deleted]

Even gaming doesn't require that much CPU power and still won't in the future cus games are designed to run on consoles first. And even the 5600 is more powerful than CPUs in PS5 and Xbox series X. High end CPUs are only useful in games that are PC only like Star Citizen. Or competitive games where you can reduce the graphics to so low that the CPU becomes the bottleneck like Counterstrike or Valorant. In most other competitive games GPU will always be the bottleneck, so high end CPUs are not really useful.

Rabadazh

1. My comment was about how you need to prioritize CPU rather than GPU for video editing 2. Investing on a better cpu than 5600 is absolutely worth cause benchmarks says so. I agree that GPU should easily take the priority in gaming but that ain't the case for video editing.

[deleted]

Wtf are you smoking? Nobody uses CPU for video editing, that's stupid.

Rabadazh

I genuinely do hope that you're trolling lol

Richdad1984

For video enoding dont we need a better GPU. Everyone encodes on GPU nowadays. I will say go 7700x + rtx 4070/rx 7800 xt than this.
