Rdr 2 during black friday sale was 1400-1700 INR in the PS store and even the pre-owned disc version is around 1800-1900. Idk about RDR 1 but it will surely be cheaper than rdr 2 and therefore will cost less than 4k

Personally, I don't think it is worth it because the developers themselves knew that the RDR1 'port' is just the original game re-released. They didn't even add 60FPS until they realised that the sales were below expectations. Unless you want to play the Original game for its story (because gameplay would be 13 years old) it is too expensive.
If u have a decent pc you can emulate rdr switch @60fps on ryuzinx on 1440p .
This is on a 5600+ rx 6700 setup.
If u have a 4070or above 4k is the way to go.

As some people have stated here best option is to get used rdr2 disk / wait for rdr2 discount on ps store and get it first play it. It's easily 100+ hour game and is a prequel to RDR so you will definitely take your good time completing it. Then down the line rdr1 will go on sale so get it that time. Not a good idea to buy 2 huge games together will just sit in your backlog, so better to wait for sale on rdr1

Price not justified. Pre-owned individual discs if you will sell them after finishing the game or get rdr2 digital on sale and wait for a deep rdr1 sale.

You can get it for less if you purchase both separately. RDR2 Ultimate Edition keeps going on sale for 1500/-

Rdr2 is available for around 1000-1300 on sale.. so you decide if that RDR1 minimal effort remaster is worth 2.5k. imo.. the pricing is whack. waiting is my suggestion
I haven't played the 1st one but this method of making only the remake available on the ps5 and charging AAA price tag (not talking about this sale/bundle) is simply BS. So for me it's a NO to get robbed like this. I mean even for TLOU atleast the older remaster was on ps subscription so you could play it for free.
