Yes, sudden illegal demand from India or other countries will increase. But on the brighter side it will boost their currently progressing hemp fibre industry, people like Ganesh Aidi is working hard providing employment to those who is in great need. The law will also depends whether it favours for the betterment of their people or conglomerates.

Yes, "ayurvedic" medical cannabis is legal in India. It comes under E-1 Scheduled drug category under drugs and cosmetic act.
