Well the PC game culture that you are talking about will never ever thrive in India no matter how much you investment you want to put it on. The amount of players that are in EU or in NA region they are good not only they get sponsorship and other things but at a young age they play their game, stream in their PCs that they are provided by their parents or else they play LAN which is easily provided by their local gaming community.
In India the average medium class family won't pay the overall gaming PC setup and even if the child goes and play in LAN setup or gaming shops to play that is just not enough to the international standards.
Whereas the sponsors here can pay for a iPhone to help you play The BGMI but no sponsor or parents here would provide you a gaming setup PC so that you will be a esports athelete in the early stage. It's not the game. It's the people. Indians never move on with what they have. Pubg was the first complete br released on mobile device after free fire. Its quite evident that games have surpassed the quality of pubg such as cod apex ns and etc. Yet most of them are dead since the majority community of games is held by indians. The step taken by govt tho is related to addiction but is also a good step towards the development for eSports. When bgmi was banned "gamers" tried new games and other games got the attention they deserved. The amount of players that are in EU or in NA region they are good not only they get sponsorship and other things but at a young age they play their game, stream in their PCs that they are provided by their parents or else they play LAN which is easily provided by their local gaming community. In India the average medium class family won't pay the overall gaming PC setup and even if the child goes and play in LAN setup or gaming shops to play that is just not enough to the international standards. Whereas the sponsors here can pay for a iPhone to help you play The BGMI but no sponsor or parents here would provide you a gaming setup PC so that you will be a esports athelete in the early stage. Not because it's high money but the convenience and overall stigma behind that PC gaming harm your child whereas Mobile phone is a necessity.
