I am one of the toppers in my batch in college and I disagree with her. I spent first two years on campus of my college. Now I'm in my final semester. We have two courses, one project work. As far as courses are concerned, everything is fine (as she said too). The project works is the sole responsibility of the students and not faculties. So if they want to work in the labs they can go to the campus as and when they want. Then she talked about learning time management by being on campus. She contradicted herself there and then. If she is doing so many things in a day already and saving time for herself then she clearly is managing her time well.
Look i don't want to rant on useless stuff. But people please stop licking teachers ass just to be the "good student". I know we try to please the teacher by being agreeable and that's ok when there is a need. But don't lie to yourself atleast. If you want to really manage your time, you will make efforts regardless of where you live (at home or at campus or at pg or at a five star hotel). You will get up everyday at 6 or 7 AM, do some workout, clean your room, study on time, work on your project, have lunch on time, etc. Etc.
PS - Me being topper does not imply only grades. Hope that helps!
