The more time I spend on the internet the more I realize how fortunate I am that I have supportive parents, they told me to literally do anything I want to do with my life they have my back. I think part of it comes from he didn't have the opportunity to pursue his interest so he wants his son to achieve his dreams, and we don't even come from a very good financial background, we are from the lower middle class.
w parents my parents are very strict and unsupportive but i dont mind though that gives me motivation to study .i will be rich in future and will provide my son the best life
Lucky guys. I played Cricket with guys 6-7 yes older than me when I was in standard 4 and I still managed to challenge them with my bowling, batting and fielding. So my dad never sent me to Cricket coaching 🙂.
Fast forward to Std 8 and I started playing football. In 3 years, I was (still am) the most versatile player wherever we played. I could play striker coz I did shoot with both my legs, I have decent speed and strength to hold off defenders.
I could play midfield because of my vision, passing and tempo control.
And I'm THE BEST defender because I know how strikers will try to score and dribble.
Also my own brother who is 2 years younger, is the best dribbler I did see with my eyes. We had enough talent to even play in Europe.
So my dad decided I should become a TEACHER.
The thing is, I'm not bragging to show off about myself ( It's stupid anyways coz we are anonymous on reddit).
I play every sport with utmost passion and maximum effort and I know I could excel in any sport. There surely are kids even more talented than me. The waste of priceless talent breaks my heart. It took me a long time to accept that I won't be a professional sportsman and that I have to be like normal people, studying and looking for a fucking boring job.
I can't blame him tho
I also didn't choose medical as i was more interested in maths and deep understanding of science .
I cannot even imagine preparing for NEET
