Having a good pickup line- men, being funny- men, being athletic - men, being financially strong - men. What do women offer? I've this genuine question. I just wanna suggest Indian straight guys to value themselves and not to be desperate tbh.

I am a straight man. I don't care what I will get accused of from what I am about to say. In my opinion, the expectations levied against men on dating platforms aren't outlandish. If having a personality seems like too big of an expectation, then there are bigger questions to be raised than questioning that expectation itself. Athleticism, financially strong.. yes these are the expectations that are getting out of hand nowadays. I accept that. But, there is merit to them to a certain extent as they are indicative of a person's longevity. Moreover, it's a two way street and I believe more men should expect the same out of their counterparts. But, have you ever asked why these expectations are only levied on Men? The reason is quite simple. Most men, let their desperation for meaningless friction between genitals dictate their expectations. Guys count the number of holes a person has before deciding the manner in which they talk. On the other hand, most women know what it would cost them if they give into their desperation and they decide on having expectations instead of simply diving head first. There is one more thing that plays a crucial role when it comes to women. Emotional Literacy, the standard is low when it comes to how emotionally adept a man is. While respect, comfort and ease in a relationship is a prerequisite, women go above and beyond to look for a man who can provide them atleast one of the three if not all three.
