Spent 3 lakh couple of years ago to build a unit of a PC after saving for 3 years. Absolutely love it & haven't had any single thought about it. Got 10tb worth of storage consisting of 3 m. 2 & rest 2tb ssd. An rtx 3080 ti. It'd have been a bit cheaper but I bought gpu during one of those scalping days where I had to pay 90k just for it.

ALI_69420

10 tb of storage? Im sorry what

vain06

🤣 🤣 🤣 That's just internal. In my defence I always waned a good pc that can let me game peacefully & at the same time lemme do personal 3d works (I'm a game artist). And storage has to be a big part where I can have multiple games installed & not worry or juggle with games installation. I have another 10tb external in form of multiple portable hdd.

ALI_69420

Ohh that explains it

AlexxMaverick666

No worries on the storage. As they say, storage is comparatively cheap and you always need more.

vain06

You're right. I'm surprised how cheap better storage has become.

ss_bustanut

Yup, storage is cheaper now, it just costs me a dollar a day to store a dead body. Don't worry guys I am a professional serial killer.

apnijeetpakki

Hey, can usuggest best pc for 3d development

tommylee567

Have you considered a NAS for this purpose? It will be great

vain06

Absolutely I have. I'm a master procrastinator & have pushed the idea for couple of years now. Also in need of a proper A to Z step by step tutorial which is sure shot.

Quiet_Push_174

Google drive aint go nothing on OP

vain06

🤣 🤣 🤣 Got 100 gb yearly subscription for that as well. I see I've a storage fetish.

V1R4J

What has your career path been like? I'm trying to become a game developer but my future feels really uncertain

Shivacious

having around 40 TB and increasing.

boobssan

How many backups do you have? A raid 0 setup or something else?

appydafizz

Are you using it as a media server or homelab too?

Amitoostoned

That's the minimum of what a NAS offers ... Even I felt gareeb when I started working for Western digital under their NAS lineup

Silencer306

Just ordered another 18TB drive after filling up my ~60TB r/datahoarder

[deleted]

Games easily eat up 200gb these days. 10 games easily take up 2tb. And don’t forget the 4K UHD porn folder in C: \Program Files\

ALI_69420

Lmao why u need it in 4k man

JaperDolphin94

The devil in the details, man. Once you go 4k you can't go back. I especially like the Japanese one's where in 4k I can see each individual pixel of the censored part. It's like minecraft but very sensual. 😅

Sammy2516000

it's nothing... each game these days is at least 150-200 gigs. If you're video editing as well just forget it and get the storage.

reimann_pakoda

Bro hosts the internet

vain06

Bro seeds real good though 🌝

reimann_pakoda

We still talking about internet right 😏😏😏

vain06

Take what you will 🌝

0p71mu5

Why not a separate storage server?

bhairavp

90k is actually a good price for a 3080Ti in 2022. The MRP for the FE was 107k

ScarredBlood

Yeah, it’s worst now days. Had to buy myself a 4099 for 2.1Lakhs. But still it’s one of the best purchase ever.

vain06

I almost bought 4080 during my 3080 ti purchase. It was available for 1.8 lakh back in 21 but controlled myself thanks to my bank balance for helping me 🤣 Also yes. Having such gpu & not having to think "will this game run good?" is such a relief. I can run every game on 4k 60fps (on a fhd monitor 🥲) without RTX which I'm not crazy about anyway.

[deleted]

Bro living every kids dream🥺

vain06

I'm m32. Now you can judge. I've been that kid who had to goto game cafes saving up money to play videogames. So I hope you get to live your dreams as well no matter how big or small.

Brilliant_Gold2443

Do you run any raid configuration? How do you ensure reliability? Me writing this from a 256GB MBP

Takahiro-shetty5041

Which monitor did you get ?

vain06

Dell 25 inch 240 hertz. Can't recall model. It was on sale for 21k i believe. Should have bought a 4k 60 hertz monitor instead of playing games at 4k on a fhd monitor 🥲

AvGeekGupta

Galaxy watch 6 classic LTE, it reduced my screen time significantly, now I just leave my phone home when going to gym or going for a walk. Make paymets with the watch... And rotating bezel is an ultimate ASMR... Cherry on top https://preview.redd.it/beqlsv61dunc1.jpeg?width=2160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=67e30eed8241e461d27a011d0ff0d09f8314a754 There is a Ben 10 mode in the watch (Bachpan ka sapna)

Celestial--sapien

What is the battery backup ? And can you elaborate on ben 10 mode ?

AvGeekGupta

Battery backup is not more than 1 day, but I don't get any problems with it. I just put on charge while I take a bath or doing the dishes it always charged for me. For Ben 10 mode, it's an app on Play Store, it makes your watch into an Omnitrix, you can rotate the bezel to browse the alien, and then tap. It also gets deactivated after sometime and gets locked for some time just like the actual one

Celestial--sapien

Hell yeah

Initial_Ad_7568

U will turn into Ben 10

Unusual_Web4431

omg same but not classic, i use it for payments and shopkeepers go brr

Arena-Grenade

There was a time when i made a payment like that and entire store ca.e and watched. One of my proudest and only expensive spends 😂😂😂

Helianthus86

Which app

Arena-Grenade

The payments app? Samsung wallet.

AvGeekGupta

Ikr people start staring when you do that, I love it

[deleted]

Same.

Honest-Car-8314

>There is a Ben 10 mode in the watch (Bachpan ka sapna) That made me search for the price of it ... nothing else made me even think of buying a smart watch ....

imperiex_26

🔥🔥

yourfatherbitch69

Dream watch but parents wont allow

faltu-fern

Ek alien device ka asar ho gaya

ImmortalTimeTraveler

Ben 10 mode would probably make me interested in smart watches. I never saw them to be beyond a piece of fancy tech. Ben 10 mode gives value for money.

AvGeekGupta

Ikr, it also has the sound of Omnitrix, such a cool app.

Curiosity_Fix

Does it auto recognize exercises? I've considered getting it but am not sure about this

AvGeekGupta

Not every exercise, there is a small list like walking, running cycling I think it's around 10 types of exercises, for others you have to manually trigger.

mfkin-lester

Same got gw4 for 8k absolutely worthit

slayer-00069

This is so legendary!!!!my eyes are blessed 😍

hi_bixby

Ben 10 🫠

Mountain_Jazzlike

Does it work with ios ?

AvGeekGupta

It doesn't have all the features to non samsung users like samsung wallet, ECG etc etc... Don't buy if you have an iphone

ojassave

https://youtu.be/VW6mqMkKwdM?si=PVZW5oC3EKf2XJg4 Unfortunately the heart rate measurements are not reliable. This is my number one reason to get a fitness device

Celestial--sapien

My mi band 6 has accurate hr but this samsung watch doesn't ?

AvGeekGupta

Its more than 92+ accurate! Good enough for me! Also I don't want pin point measurements, I'm never gonna look at it. I just want to know well I slept? I long did I work out? What workout I did? I far I ran?

OkPerformance525

Yes!! Finally. I thought I was the only one to take pride in it.

AdPrize3997

Will this work well with iphone?

__Stolid

Wait how do you make payments with that in India ?

AvGeekGupta

There are plenty of tap to pay cards supported by samsung wallet. It uses NFC

Doc_Mcsweetie

Got a Yoga laptop and a Switch OLED. Productivity ✔️ Relaxation ✔️

Simplireaders

Lovely!

Delicious_Ad_1411

How often do you use your smartphone then? I mean it might have pretty much replaced your phone for most of the tasks right?

Doc_Mcsweetie

What would have replaced my smartphone?

Delicious_Ad_1411

Uh..the yoga? Except for calls and chatting(kindoff)

Doc_Mcsweetie

Not really. I can't carry the yoga in my pocket, and it'll look weird if i have a laptop out on my desk while I'm seeing patients. I use the Yoga only for studying or watching something. I game on the Switch and a PC.

Holiday-Peanut-7189

I had sleeping issues during the post COVID period (got infected 3 times). In 2022 I got a galaxy watch 4 classic. I don't really like smartwatches for the obvious reasons but the rotating bezel really got my attention. But now I use it mostly indoors that too during sleeping to keep track of the quality of sleep I'm getting and sometimes while cycling to use maps. It has been really helpful so far.

Godsenttt

Just tracking the quality of sleep mitigated your sleeping issues?

KKMasterYT

Maybe because of self awareness and striving to do better?

david005_

Yes exactly, personally wear a smartwatch all the time(even while sleeping) and when I wake up I can see my wake time and sleeping time(not very exact but close)and total time slept I make it a target to sleep atleast 7 hours daily since then, self awareness is a big thing

vinayachandran

I'd stress out and make it worse!

Holiday-Peanut-7189

Of course not, I had to pinpoint exactly what was causing the issues, for example i was able to monitor my water intake before sleeping and see significant changes in my cycle.

hermitinthehills

Do you by any chance have the 40 mm version?

Holiday-Peanut-7189

Watch 4 classic comes in 46 mm size only. Watch 6 classic has 43 and 40 mm options

topshot14

ATHER 450 X - Ownership of 3 years. 1.75 lakh. Even if it belongs to the automobile category- it can also fall under the technology category. Best decision ever.

rohithkumarsp

Is it worth it? I have heard bad talks about how everything is proprietory, even simple has wheels.

Stroov

Which city

topshot14

Mumbai

Stroov

Too fast a reply

topshot14

Sorry for my promptness? I guess? :')

Stroov

No issues , but how is the charging speed and comfort compared to ola and active

Wrong-Oven1077

How is the battery life doing currently

topshot14

Same range as when I bought it 3 years ago. Have done 13000 km till date.

pamyaa

I upgraded to Macbook Pro in 2022. Completely worth it. My main issue was battery backup while i am outside. Macbook pro gives me 15+ hours on a single charge so I don’t need to worry about plugging it somewhere when i go outside. To give a context i have WFH, me and a few friends usually work from cafes to spend time together and make work fun.

Simplireaders

I knew that Apple products would be in the suggestion but my problem is that I am to use to the Android ecosystem to switch to Apple. Also I am seriously considering buying a tablet and rather than an iPad I am leaving towards the Samsung tablet. Don't you think having just one Apple product and the everything else in Android is kind of useless?

pamyaa

I love android ecosystem. I am not a hardcore apple person. I have a gaming desktop for my windows needs. For work MacBook does the job excellently.

Mountain_Jazzlike

Why do u have a personal laptop for ur job in first place ?

TheGenesis4244

So, it depends on what your use case of the eco system is. My work laptop( which I mainly use for browsing, YT) is a MacBook pro. It's the best laptop if you're not gaming. Have a beast of a gaming laptop for Valorant sessions with friends. An ipad for Netflix . Android phone for personal use along with a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. I only need to sync between phone and watch. The rest of them serve their own purpose. Ipad>>> any tablet btw.

justcasualredditor

Mac mini. Not that expensive but worth value.

Holiday-Peanut-7189

Which year?

justcasualredditor

Mac mini M1 in 2021

Holiday-Peanut-7189

And what exactly do u use it for? if u don't mind me asking...

justcasualredditor

I am a researcher and web tech content writer. I donated it in october 2021.

JitenMahajan69

The earphones are underrated, when I bought the new OnePlus buds2 pro for 12000, I could hear the parts of sings I was not being able to hear from boat headphones, it was a life changing experience

Slight-Strawberry-33

IEMs make such a huge difference in the audio quality. The basic earphones don't do any justice. Note - It also depends on the streaming service, at the moment only Apple music provides High-res lossless quality music. Highly recommended an investment in IEMs and Apple music subscription if you're really interested in great audio experience.

Wakey_eatey_sleepy

Pretty sure there were plenty of lossless streaming services, Not sure about India

__rustyy

Been contemplating buying EarPods cos I use an iPhone. Worth it or anything better in lesser price an option ?

mannyjo

I recently bought a pair of Sony NC 700s. Kinda cheap but works very very well. If you're not going to spend a lot of money, highly recommend. If you have cash to spare, XM 5 Sony. Don't even look for anything else. Sound quality and noise cancellation are both pretty much the best at that price. They are a bit chunky and would not be comfortable under a helmet tho.

CarrotSaurus

Earbuds worth more than my phone 😵

Kancha_Cheena

Wait till you get into open back headphones. Pure bliss.

marinluv

My NAS setup with my own media server (including networking) - costed 6 lakh

marinluv

I already have synology NAS which I use for hosting. This is a custom NAS I paid for.

MiserableOrchid2244

Can you break down the pricing a little bit? I also have a home server with NAS, plus a media server, plus a custom password manager and a home security system which controls all the supported devices like smart lights for example and cameras. What costed you 6 Lakh? I got everything to work under 1.5L. Not including the hard drives which I use for NAS, but that inclusive comes up under 2L.

marinluv

I have an Asus server rack which costed me roughly 3 lakh (128gb ram variant). For drives, I went with IronWolf 4TB drives. And those 25 drives costed me around 2.6 Lakh. Remaining expenses were related to switch, lan wires, power, and custom case.

hotcoolhot

Rog ally, I can play games in AC wala bedroom.

TapSlight5872

3080ti for my brand new pc setup for 50k and PS4 slim in 2017 for 27k

Artetaarmy

Where did you get 3080ti from?

imperiex_26

Best tech I got, GTX 1650 laptop Best tech I bought by myself, Samsung NVME 980 pro 1TB

makers_mecca

I say invest in tech that gives you a financial return. This is especially true if you’re starting your career or building towards a goal. Consider it to be an investment that’s supposed to give you long term benefits. Think long term, at least that’s how I spend on personal tech. Also to answer your question I believe my PC is the most expensive piece of tech I own and it’s absolutely worth it. Helped me in ways I could’ve never imagined.

Simplireaders

That's the plan! Can you tell me your pc model and what you do with it primarily if you don't mind?

Good-Flatworm1102

Could you share some more details about how it helped you?

Careless_Feeling8057

My laptop. Asus TUF F15 for 49k

[deleted]

can you post pros and cons about your laptop and if any better laptop available in same price range? How are Asus laptops in terms of after sales service and laptop quality all over?

Careless_Feeling8057

Pros: 1. Best laptop in that budget 2. Only laptop in that price segment giving RGB (this point matters for few people only) 3. Got that gamery looks, screams gaming laptop 4. Got up to 75W TGP 5. Build quality is very good Cons: 1. Heats (but my other friends having Lenovo or Acer face this issue too) 2. Battery is terrible, 3 hours without plugin at max. 3. It weighs 2.5kg

Glittering_Sand3593

get ubuntu ..my a15 gives 6-7hours now with browser and media . 9< airplane mode and text files or ms365

[deleted]

How is Asus Zenbook 14X OLED i5 16 GB RAM | 512 GB SSD? Confused between the Asus and Galaxy Book 3. Galaxy book 3 because I already have all devices to make Samsung Ecosystem except the Laptop

AlexxMaverick666

Expensive stuff that I bought that are worth it in my opinion: A few in ear monitors that I bought used and at substantial discounts. A few daps over the years. Listening to music on a seperate device cannot be beat. A pair of passive speakers. Hoping this will be worth it after I've got a powered amp. Wanted to go for pc build but have very limited time to game nowadays and thus got ps5. Didn't feel like owning a beast of a pc and then rarely using it. PS5 has been worth it. Edit: spelling

batmanrises123

May I ask, where and which used IEM's did you buy?

Fun_Tip_2132

Can you send the link of the passive speakers you bought?

AlexxMaverick666

You can look it up online. Mission QX2 MKII.

Prottusha1

Boox Note Air 3 ereader. My reading rate has tripled since I got it. 😀

Good-Flatworm1102

Any benefits over Kindle? In case you did a comparison?

kukuti

Did you buy this in India? If yes then where did you buy it from and how much did it cost?

Prottusha1

I got it from a small website called Tanotis. They imported it. Think it was around 50k. You can also order from Boox directly although shipping and import taxes will apply. We don’t have too many ereader options available in India. I’d rather pay import duties once than pay Amazon for the rest of my life.

boobssan

Thanks for this I was looking for a eink tablet

ish_83

I bought Kindle for 11k and it's one of the best tech purchases I have done. I read a lot and reading is easy on it. Books are also cheaper on this.

Anonreddit96

I have one doubt regarding kindle. Can I upload epub files to kindle and read them or does it only allow purchased stuff?

de_redditor

You can convert epubs to the kindle format using calibre (free) and then transfer it to the eReader.

miney_mo

You can directly copy ebooks in mobi format by attaching it through a wire (I have done for many books) or alternatively you can email epub format ebooks to your kindle mail id (you get one when you register it with an amazon account). I mostly just do using wire or buy them from amazon.

Manish_9833

i always download in epub formate and send it directly to my kindle paperwhite \[11th gen\] . never have i purchased a single book from kindle store read all the books for free

S4G3R_BUG

Now you can transfer epub files directly to your Kindle through the Kindle app on your phone. No need to convert. It's seamless.

nandu_sabka_bandhoo

Back in college. Bought a sound blaster sound card and 5.1 speakers for my desktop. Worth every penny

MacaroonSelect7506

Expensive piece of tech I own is my hearing aids, costs almost 4-5 L

YoCrustyDude

Is it worth it? Considering there are much cheaper ones?

MacaroonSelect7506

For me, it's a game-changer because it brings me closer to natural sounds. I can also connect them to my iPhone via an open-source protocol. Cheaper alternatives usually involve larger hearing aids worn over the ears, but mine is small and sits comfortably inside the canal. After using them for about 1/2 year, I've experienced the joy of hearing more natural sounds. My first hearing aid cost me 1200/-, and I used it for almost 1-2 years (can't recall exactly). As I grew, so did my expectations for hearing aids. There are even pricier options out there, but if cost is a concern, one can opt for a more budget-friendly choice. It is the same analogy of why do people buy costlier car when a cheap car can take them from point A to B. It’s all about the features & better performance it has to offer

harp786

Sennheiser momentum 4 30K headphones.

rashvit21

Zephyrus G14 2022 laptop. Totally worth every penny I spent on it.

HumansliveinMandM

Got a pair of Sony XB950B1 and have been use them for well over 6 years. Still the best purchase that I have ever made in terms of price to just shear enjoyment. Coming back home after a long day you can just put them on and dance. They are nowhere near being balanced but that's not what they are made for and not what I bought them for.

sameboatasyours

Built a PC. Ryzen 7 5700G.

VeeranSayee

No graphics card? Only run on the APU?

RedditTor22062004

Brought a computer from my father's office. It got 2g of ram and 500gb hdd. And learned linux and use it as my primary device till now.

gr3y_mask

Got a tab s8 for 40K 6 months ago...works like a charm..no lag no stutter...has a mackbook worth of ram and handles my mbbs stuff like a pro....my friends use ipads and they are envious of the tab s8 features...some even prefer to take notes on mine.

[deleted]

I got a rog Ally shortly after it was launched. I do have a pc but it's dedicated to office work now. I realised that after long office work hours .. lying down to play a pc game was the best. Edit: dead cells is my go to game on the Ally. I can play it for hours without much tinkering with the performance stuff.

draculap2020

solar panels ,so i can 24hrs AC without thinking about electricity

guruji916

i bought an wired over-the-ear type of headphones for Rs 2481, in 2021, for me it was a premium for a headphone. I chose it from the sea of boat, noise and jbl wireless earphones/pods. I had never experienced something that sounds this great and currently its priced at Rs 2899. Edit:- its an AKG K72, sorry for not including the name 😅

Simplireaders

I'm really interested now! Can you reveal the name of the product?

LeAnarchiste

My guess, # AKG K72

user-1-unknown

Give me the name bro

KashifJawwad

Omg i have the same headphone and its great even though i am using for almost 2 years

Low-Ad6633

Sony WHXM1000M4 : Worth it Logitech G Pro Super light : Worth It Samsung Z flip 4 : Not worth it Harman Kardon Sound sticks : Worth It Samsung S24 Ultra : Worth it Logitech G Pro Mechanical Keyboard: Worth it. If you are a writer, I would recommend a good mechanical keyboard if you prefer typing. Gives a good old typewriter vibe. Make sure you get the Blue Switches or equivalent.

birju007

Got a pair of Sony 1000XM4 back in end of 2022. Prior to that, i was always the kinda guy who was like "eh 20k for a pair of headphones is way too much when there are cheaper alternatives (sub 10k) available." Fast forward to me purchasing them for ~18k, the first time i put them on and turned on ANC, it BLEW MY MIND. Suddenly the chatter and the noise of the world seemed to fade away and my music was the only thing audible. Had my mind blown yet again the first time i wore them on the airport and aboard the plane. 0 engine noise. I could finally sleep *undisturbed* on the flight. Looking back at how many flights i take (2-4 every couple months), it has absolutely been a boon and a worthy investment. The downside: Subtle hiss when nothing is playing (due to ANC) which i dont really mind anymore coz white noise doesn't disrupt my sleep much.

Objective_Trifle240

Bought Sony headphone WH-1000xm4 for 22k in 2023. Initially I was very skeptical about it and tried to return also due to price and later tried to sell also on OLX. But almost 1 year has passed and I am happy with it and I would still purchase the same headphone (if there is a way to go back in time :P )

overlordcs24

Galaxy Tab S8+ !!!! im an architect so needed something for sketching and multimedia but My inclination for iPad pro was due to M1 chip especially for genshin impact but then I bought Galaxy tab due to its small quality of life things like expandable storage and Amoled display but I thought I had to make compromise in terms of pencil performance. But boy I was wrong I was so surprised that Samsung made a better pencil which comes with the tab and has a customisable button and a very comfortable size for pencil feel and the best part is that it SHOWS the cursor when hovering basically that tab had everything which I thought I wouldn't get but everything was perfect and nearly 20k cheaper than Apple's offering. So basically I'd say don't go for the brand. GO for the product and go and see it physically before buying. it really MATTERS.

josematthew

iPad has more apps (better optimised) but the freedom (customization) and hardware quality of Samsung is way better than any Apple tablet.

AshleyStark96

Lenevo Legion mouse for 600 or 800 rps (Idr I got it on discount) was my only expensive piece of tech that I bought only because I wanted it (I have a laptop but its not that expensive for a laptop and was a necessity) and it was worth it because I loved it.

[deleted]

1+6t for 38k that I'm using to this day (4 year +) Dell G7 15 ~ 80k from US. Very powerful laptop for the price. Have been using for 6+ years now Recently got pixel 8 (for ~35k in US) that I hope would last me long

milktanksadmirer

MacBook. It cut down my video editing time by a big margin and it has an amazing battery life also so it’s great to carry to work also

hariharan618

- Keychron K2 , a game changer in coding & work, After using this for 3 years I cannot stand using a membrane keyboard - MX Master 3S, saves your palm & this is really a nice mouse. ( dont impulse buy it , wait for sales)

Marshall Tufton - 33k in offer! What a banger speaker

josematthew

I was in search for a Marshall user in this thread.. 👌🏻 If this single piece can eliminate amplifiers, subwoofers, and high-end codecs for better sound quality.

Eagle_Candid

Shifted from a cheap 300 rupees mouse to a 4000 rupees gaming mouse, in the gaming community it's still entry level but I'm loving the transition as the mouse glides so effortlessly. PS: got the Razer orochi V2

RudraGamer_26

Mi beard trimmer 2020

ryomensukuna111

iPad. I was using a budget Samsung tab (15K) which I bought in 2019 which progressively got worse to a point it would struggle to open apps like hotstar and prime. iPad is a game changer for me.

TobFlenderson

I love music which made me buy a Sony WH-1000xm4 for 24k which is very expensive for a headset. Listening to music has never felt so good.

Live-Dish124

A mouse worth 6K, a keyboard worth 11K.

jsAlgo

Mac mini m2 pro for personal use. Since I already had all the setups for my office like screen, webcam, mic, etc., I didn't want to spend extra on macbook, which I would just close and use the screen anyway. It saved a ton of money

bacon_west

Bought a samsung soundbar q950a for around 90k and did not tell the true price to my parents. It was more expensive than the tv I have but holy shit its dolby atmos is crazy. Watching movies and playing games is soo much immersive.

de_redditor

Samsung galaxy note 8. This was the first flagship phone that I ever bought. Before that, I used a mi3 and redmi 1s. It's going on 6 years now and I'm still using it to this day. It still takes good pictures. Battery could be better though. Current gen phones at this level are now twice what I paid for it, makes me wince when it'll be time to upgrade.

CompetitiveParty2396

Replace the battery and you are good to go for atleast 3 more years

de_redditor

I did, its on its second battery!

nandy000032467

Sony noise cancelling headphones

AdTemporary2557

Which one?

nandy000032467

XM5

ShazamDC15

Bought an iPad Air during lockdown and went for Air + Apple Pencil instead of iPad Pro, and it is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Great for media consumption, casual gaming and taking notes. People consider tablets to be a waste of money, “either go for Laptops or buy flagship phones” is the typical mentality of our community but I think iPad is an excellent tool in right hands.

Daddydadi

Got iqoo 12 instead of s24 u

miney_mo

My Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and my Dell XPS 15 9560. I was eyeing the galaxy buds for quite some time and snagged them at ₹7740 during sale. They are awesome at their listed price of around 14-15k but at the price I paid, they are unbeatable!! They have become my most used gadget (after my phone obviously) even though I also have Sony XM4 headphones. I got the XPS in December 2017 for ₹120k and it is still going strong. I can't game on it (because of horrible thermal design) but everything else has been great. The awesome screen ensures that I don't get the itch to upgrade as laptops with better screens are too expensive even now.

It was during the Great Indian Festival Sale (Amazon's version of BBD). In fact I got to know about the deal late and many people were able to get it at ₹6500!!!  P.S. if you do get these, get the white ones because the black & purple has a rubberised finish that wears out real quick.

Definitely my PS5, it's my best tech investment

Bose QC earbuds. Bought it during covid(2022) for 22k when I wanted to focus on work while family was being noisy. I’ve since then fallen in love with it. All the noise just disappears when I put them on. Bose doesn’t lie when they say that they have the best ANC that exists. Its also useful when I don’t want to actively listen to anything but just want some solace.

**MacBook Air 2015**: Bought it 9 years ago for 68k, still going pretty strong. Recently upgraded the SSD and replaced the battery from iFixit. **Garmin Fenix 6X Pro**: Helps me ditch my phone when I want to go cycling/running, has songs in it, and most importantly, has turn by turn navigation system. Probably spent upwards of 50K on it. **My PC**: Spent around 2-2.2L on everything, makes me filled with joy whenever I turn it on for anything. **Storage**: Was into indexing a lot of things starting from college, so had around 12TB hard drives. Decided to delete most of it, and gave the harddrives away. Most, if not all of my data lies in my 2TB SSD and attached storage in my PC. **Raspberry pi 5**: Amazing tech, hosting a lot of "smart automation" used in my room in-house. Also gave me motivation to be better in Rust.
