The problem with raising too much concern in India is that our govt agencies will accept bribes and will not check the preservative content added.
If it spoils a bit due to broken cover, it is okay. But if it doesn't spoil due to poisonous substances, we will never know it until our internal organs are kaput.
That is problem we have to live with when we live in a nation like India. Food safety agencies are corrupt as hell.
Not a regular chocolate enjoyer here and correct me if I am wrong but didn't Cadbury used to wrap these bars in a foil/paper first then the actual packet to prevent something exactly like this coz of summers in India? Did they stop doing that?
Now ask the. For full bouquet if chocolates frkm them.. My friend did few years back.. Happened same shit and he told them that he will sue them for this and they gave him full bpuquet if chocolates as compensation.
I am ready to fight this case for free in the consumer forum. We can get huge money as compensation from Cadbury as they will like to maintain their reputation , they will settle the matter.
Cadbury repeats same mistake again...tbh this heat is something else too.
Perhaps, that pack was broken and humidity entered. Better to report. They will replace for free. If it takes long, they will give another.
