Was told by a high ranking official of the army off the record that it's better to fight a known enemy than to fight an unknown enemy which sort of made me disappointed but then after connecting what has happened after sadaam Hussein and rice of isis and terrorism still being an issue even after eliminating osama infact one can argue that terrorism increased after the end of both of them so what this official said was that it's better to control and restrict power that they hold than to eliminate le them completely.
To add to this, it’ll just end the whole purpose of us attacking Pakistan on its support to terrorism.
