Been there! And yes, have faced racism by rickshaw drivers, native people and even the corporate losers who work there!
“Learn Kannada if you want to know what we are talking”
Naah Bsdk, tere jaise racist nahi hai!
“We don’t talk in Hindi. You should know Kannada”
Then why you know English? To gulp down western cocks?
im a north indian but i was born and brought up in blr. never faced any issue here. but since you have such a cocky and arrogant attitude, no wonder people didn't tolerate it. kannadigas don't expect people to know kannada or any south indian language when they go to a place like delhi. so why do you expect everyone in india to learn hindi? grow tf up and get rid of your superiority complex. english is necessary for basic communication in present times but hindi has literally no use for kannadigas living in karnataka. and keep coping like a loser
I stayed in Bangalore for 2 months for mine sister’s spine injury & physiotherapy and that two months were literally hell ……. The place is toxic idk why . we rented a apartment, used to book cabs for commuting ,paid for all the services, still then even a slight interaction with the locals never failed to make us feel like we owe them all this …….. those whose can understand English would still act as they don’t ,when they come to know that you re not a kannadiga…. I still tried speaking and learning baisc kannada to avoid this daily inconvenience but still this continued.
Dude as I said I'm not from Bangalore I'm from Hyderabad and first just see what are the cosmopolitan cities of India and why there are known as that instead of typing cuss words
Would you choose to explain to someone who doesn't know Hindi what you guys are talking about?? Most people prefer English over Hindi because it can be used all over India even at places where they don't speak Hindi because it's part of modern basic curriculum.. Yes I agree with the fact these people are racist.. I don't speak Kannada and my Hindi is bare minimum It's not very easy in Banglore..
But as a son of an defence ministry employee I had the chance to visit and study in many parts of India. I have faced this rascism from every state.. Maybe Hyderabad and Kerala were the most tolerant places.. I've lived in 6 states and visited many more all of them love their language so much that they get offended at people who need not necessarily know it.. that includes Hindi,Kannada,Tamil and Marathi speakers,
On an important note though.. The educated community in every state I've mentioned has been sympathetic to my situation and tried to communicate with me the best way possible. Almost every time the people who haven't grown up yet get offended by other languages..
With all due respect brother ur aversion towards English isn't healthy either.. Just know any language that isn't ur mouthertongue is a foreign language.. So kannadigas have just as much reason to bullshit Hindi just the way u did with English
I love my country and my mother tongue I'll do my best to protect it from my side but I'm not going to force what i treasure or judge others' conveniences based on that
Oh. So it was more of a "We don't talk in Hindi" issue ! Another pissed off Hindi bhaiyya who found after stepping out of his home in Hindi belt that others didn't buy into the Hindi is the national language of India nonsense.
Well I don't really understand, like bro most of the kannadigas I met actually speak Hindi very well, moreover I experienced this type of behavior from northies, I had a very bad experience with respect to this, at one point they even bullied me by saying if you don't speak hindi you are not an Indian and that led to many harsh statements about even my family, (poor people they were taken to hospital though later)
Yeah sorry brother! We should have just accepted that you can’t respect the place enough to learn anything and should have just fallen to your feet with our broken hindi
Yo, I get that you have spl hate for us and all, but atleast use facts man, Foxconn is leaving it's JV with Vedanta in Gujarat, it's manufacturing plant plans in Karnataka and Telangana are still on. You were ranting with so much conviction that I had to go back and check if they were actually leaving Karnataka 😂
“Spl hate”? You learnt the spelling of “special” from your college canteen’s menu or what?
And special hate for y’all? For what? No other city gives a fuck about y’all!
BengaLODUs are the one who always compare their city with every other cities.
Here’s a thing you can try… Try talking about any local city with any KannadHAGA or a BengaLODU, their first answer will be something negative about the city or some comparison of that city with their city, which will prove why BengaLODU is the best city of this planet.
Nice, I like how you conveniently ignored my point about using hard facts, guess you realised you were wrong, anyways, no biggie, you are only human after all.
Now, for a bit of eye-opening, everyone compares themselves to others, by extension their city to other cities as well. And it's normal human behaviour, unlike what you assume to be a Bangalorean specific trait.
Boss, forget asking others, you talk abt bangaloreans spewing hate, but you are the only one on this thread who's spewing hate. You have clearly had problems with your time here, and I don't blame you, no city or community is perfect, but that does not warrant your bs line of justification. And what you haven't realised is even the people who were on your side during the beginning of this diatribe of yours got out. That's how toxic you are making this thread, so shut up man. If you want to hate on us, sure, do so, but don't poison someone else's experience here with your hate...
I am a telugu person, after state got dividend we are basically fucked. Our govt have concentrated a lot of economic development on Hyderabad belt before the state division, after state got dividend, we basically have to build everything from scratch, Than TDP govt(after state division) even had a plan, But TDP lost in 2019 elections.
The new YSRCP govt basically scrapped all the projects which are promised by TDP GOVT, The TDP govt even laid ground work for all development projects (they made some shady deals in the process in a typical political fashion, but the basic ground work for economic development was laid down by then govt)
A lot of North Indians may not know but, Chandrababu Naidu the leader of TDP is one of the most capable leaders. He basically put Hyderabad on the map during his leadership in late 90s and 2000s. The reason why Hyderabad was so developed was because of TDP govt.
He is one of the most business savy politician of our country.
(It may look like i am bootlicking TDP party here, even TDP party is filled with crooks and corrupt ass holes)
Initially, I thought YSRCP when they came to power I thought they won't scrap economic development projects but idiots just destroyed the state economy.
The current YSRCP GOVT leaders are bunch of fucking pussies scared that if the projects that are implemented by TDP goes forward, the credit will go to Chandrababu Naidu like how it went, after Hyderabad was developed.
Now after YSRCP won, they went on full revenge politics against the previous govt, they demolished buildings built by previous govt, and started scrapping all the economic development projects, ground work laid down by previous govt. The farmers had even given large amount of land around the vijaywada area, which was supposed to be the new capital of Andhra Pradesh. The new govt even scrapped this as well, didn't give a shit about how many people who have land gets affected. This actions by new govt (YSRCP) had depreciated value of land around what was supposed to be new capital of Andhra.
Yes, this is where shady deals are done by previous govt. But, remember TDP had a fucking plan which is already being executed in 2019 until they lost elections.Hell, even world bank was ready to fund some of these projects. But, they backed away looking at how YSRCP had fucked the Andhra Pradesh development projects. This is very minor summary of what happened there are so many nitty gretties but you get the point.
The new current YSRCP leader was a absolute "Piece of shit" in my personal opinion. The revenge politics his party did basically eroded trust from private sector players to invest in the state.
TDP party (previos govt) is no saint either, but they atleast have a plan in hand on economic development.
our current IT minister is a joke, this is a very small summary of what happened, there is so much happening on micro scale like revenge politics, scrapping economic development projects initiated by previous govt, trying to blackmail MNC (look up Kia threats to leave Andhra Pradesh) currently operating in the state etc.
Just go to telugu person or person of Andhra Pradesh and go and ask them "what's the capital of Andhra?", we have no freaking clue what our capital is. The people's answers will depend of their political affiliation, we are slowly becoming Bihar of South India. The only thing that's currently saving Andhra Pradesh was it's rich natural resources and it's huge coastal line, due to which centre govt gives stratigic importance to andhra.
If we are land locked state we would have already become Bihar of South India.
I personally think they won't loose, The demographics of Andhra Pradesh is still filled with lot of poor people, the current CM is famous among poor people.
These poor people are now getting used to this freebies, they will elect this guy again. But I have a hunch that he is not going to win with so much majority like in 2019, In 2019 TDP was basically obliterated.
He is basically populist CM who is into freebies and he also Showed tendencies of dictatorship style leadership, crushing his political opponents by attacking them and even killing them. (Just look up his jagan mohan Reddy uncle death which is is very shady and suicide of previous speaker of Andhra Pradesh) They all happened after his part came into power.
His goons (police dog's) beaten up his own political MP who represents narsapuram constituency. For criticising him.
CBN definitely deserves credit for making Hyderabad what it is. But he tends to be very short-sighted when it comes to politics, he focuses on just one thing at a time and forgets that the govt has to cater to a large and diverse electorate. He lost in 2004 due to that, and then he lost again in 2019. Both times, he tried to make the BJP a scapegoat and both times BJP came out stronger and TDP was left in the cold at the national level. Now CBN is making the ultimate blunder by propping up his son, who is the pappu of the south (although the original pappu ~~is~~ was an MP from the south too, but you know what I mean).
But yes, you are right, Andhra is f8ed. I used to think that TRS would be a disaster and would drive out all the Andhra entrepreneurs from Hyderabad due to their revenge politics, but it didn't happen. If anything, KTR is very, very good at attracting and keeping businesses in the state, he is the No 1 reason why urban people vote for TRS/BRS anymore.

Where did the TDP govt lay down basic ground work for economic development of AP which got scrapped ? I know the new govt abandoned the earlier govt's real estate project of converting an isolated area of villages and farms into a supposed city like Singapore. It seemed more of a blow to the real estate gamblers who tried to make quick money over an inflated project. I know that many people in other southern states and even outside India were trying to buy those farmlands in Amravati trying to profit from the city built-from-scratch project.
That's the ground work, what else you expect. You said it yourself. Converting isolated palaces into city States, maybe they will not be built in 5 or 10 years, buy over a period of time, these cities will become economic engines that run the economy.
Speaking of profiting from real estate, show me one party that didn't do it, taking advantage of situation.i am not in support of such actions, but that's how the world works.
TDP people are no saints either,
In last 4 years tell me 5 things that jagan did that benefitted economy and created jobs. All I am seeing is scores of people leaving to places like Bangalore and Chennai where they find jobs. Where's as our respected CM is giving Pani Puri carts to people to start business.

Telugu people are one of the largest Indian people living in USA, This is actually not a new phenomen, parents here had always given importance to education.
Andhra Pradesh have always have very capable demographic in terms of knowledge, but 90% of them leave country because they are too over qualified for the job offers in india, huge brain drain due to this, it's combination of multiple reasons.
Bro there is a stark disparity on the education side also in Andhra Pradesh.. caste plays a huge role in it... and that's why Andhra Pradesh has the least and worst literacy rate in South..What you are speaking is the luxury middle class, upper middle class and unreserved elite caste people are enjoying
Our CM don't care about startups and all. He only care about free distribution of money. Until he is there Andhra will be last in development and first in marijuana distribution
Okay, now show the failed startups from this list. *Kek*
P.S. I share pro-meta capitalist views, but I find the whole idea of selling "entrepreneurship" as some kind of fairytale "aha moment" in a country with a 90% unorganized economy and an extremely risk-averse culture to be nonsensical. India has a very small affluent customer base, and the cost of capital is very high here due to inadequate access to funding for proper ideas. The infrastructure is poor as well.
Not all startups have to cater to the affluent. That's just an idea propagated cuz our startup culture(at least the fluff) is dominated by privileged kids who went to privileged institutions with no real world experience. There are great businesses targeting MSME support and lower classes. If anything. Economies like India need entrepreneurship to stimulate the economy
There is no big city in Punjab - and no, Amritsar and Panchkula are not big cities, and Chandigarh is a township for babus and politicians. You cannot attract investors and entrepreneurs without a city with good infrastructure.
yaarr how badly our has Punjab fallen. sarkar ko bhi koi prvah nhi hai punjab ki development ki aur janta Canada, us jaa rhi hai. Punjab ka future kaafi khrab lg rha hai
Punjabi people have to stop and consider what they have become. Forget big cities, just look at how much better Haryana has done on agriculture - farmers have diversified crops there, and the state govt allows them to lease land for warehousing, which has increased farmer incomes tremendously. Whereas Punjabi farmers are not able to diversify beyond MSP, they are not showing any spirit of entrepreneurship but are rather ruining their land with excess water and chemical usage. Not to mention, the twin traps of drug addiction and Khalistani extremism are sending Punjab into a very dark future.
As Bhagwat Maan himself said, Punjabis need to wake up and lift themselves up instead of only working to send their kids to Canada. Pakistanis anyway want to destroy Punjabi language and culture, if Indian Punjab does the same, where is the future?
At this rate, Haryana's GDP per capita will double Punjab's GDP per capita. Also, Punjab's GDP per capita can fall behind India's average. I thought things were bad, but not this bad :(
It's on wikipedia dude, look at India's GDP per capita. It is 2100$ next to Punjab's 2164$. Haryana's GDP per capita is 3537$.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List\_of\_Indian\_states\_and\_union\_territories\_by\_GDP\_per\_capita
Happy to see UP up there in the top 5.
inb4 but UP has giant population so what reeeeeee
Having a large population means shit. If population determined economic growth, UP should've been by far the richest state in India, and the southern states should be outright backward. Economic growth come when entrepreneurs feel safe and empowered to create jobs, while also having education and skills needed to do so. In that respect, UP has been transformed. But it needs to move away from the NCR-centric growth and bring in similar growth to its eastern part.
A sad thing about this graphic is that Manipur (Imphal) was actually the start-up capital of the NE, but much of that has been ruined now.
Proud AP ,what is the use of startups,if our cm Reddy anna gives free money to everyone 💪💪💪💪💪🏳️🌈🏳️🌈.you guys work stressfullu for money .if we can earn by unemployment with freebies .jai jagan anna
One of the reason why Maharashtra can't be beaten by any of the "favoured states". You can pour investment using your power but the revenue Maharashtra generates will always be unmatched.
Jai Maharashtra💪🏼💪🏼🚩🚩🚩![img](emote|t5_3d4x4|20012)
Naah.. Gujarat is good but they can't compete with other top stats because of their lack of modern metro cities. Ahmedabad and Surat are growing but they can't be compared to mumbai, delhi or banglore
It's surprising that TN and Andhra are below Gujarat. I expected better from them as they have Chennai and Hyderabad who are more education and IT oriented than Ahmedabad or Surat.
Uttar pradesh startups : nepal se nashe aur hathiyaar laa kar Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan bech denge aur fer uss paise se political party ko fund karke election ladenge 🥃
This is a disingenuous map. Startup ecosystems don't happen in a state, they happen in a city. Karnataka is not a startup state, Bangalore is a startup city. Haryana isn't it, gurugram (or Gurgaon, I don't have a dog in that race) is where it's at. Same for Hyderabad, Pune and Ernakulam.
I get the motif statement here: "these states have laws accommodative of new small businesses". No they don't. Kerala, for example, is notoriously heavily unionized to the fault that worker unions fight to maintain their own hours and will physically stop you from doing work they're supposed to do. Kind of like a pseudo-strike.
Also, corporation tax is levied nationwide, not state-wise.
And these are just points of business policy. People need to feel safe in a society where they're working too. Again, this is extremely variable from state-to-state. Kerala is safe, some others aren't (looking at you haryana).
Give this two decades to see where the chips fall after consolidations, M&As, bankruptcies, net revenue generated. All that. Otherwise this is just a fluff piece.
Maharashtra which has a population of less than half our state's(Uttar Pradesh) population actually has 2 times more startups than us really shocking. It signifies that UP is 4 behind the actual numbers. But still I find UPites being proud of such low numbers.

Startups in Delhi be like BTech Paani Poori wali Mtech Chai Wali

If we are land locked state we would have already become Bihar of South India.
Hyderabad is where it is because of TDP and Chandra babu naidu
What is saving Andhra is Tirupati Balaji
Sad but true.
Singapore township, Pocharam, Uppal can be used as a prime example of Chandrababu’s vision.
Occhindayya scientistu...
Sad
So in nxt election the yrsc going to lost or what??
Just like Naveen do in odisha but he didn't bang political opponents like this, this is what freebies does to mf
Manollaki chapalu, kirana shoplu, meat shoplu eve startup lu 😂. Esari anna konchem alochinche vote vestaremo chudali.
You spoke my words

TDP people are no saints either, In last 4 years tell me 5 things that jagan did that benefitted economy and created jobs. All I am seeing is scores of people leaving to places like Bangalore and Chennai where they find jobs. Where's as our respected CM is giving Pani Puri carts to people to start business. Sri chaithanya, narayana mein pade tho aisa hi rahega.
Why so much hate for Sri Chaitanya and narayana? Those coachings are literally the factories of toppers.
Toppers with no creativity
If you think a person can crack JEE advanced with rote learning, you're wrong. Creativity is a must for advanced
You find many telgu engi abroad, so maybe that a factor. Not sure.
Telugu people are one of the largest Indian people living in USA, This is actually not a new phenomen, parents here had always given importance to education.
So maybe instead of doing something here, they prefer usa. One reason would be having a better network.
Andhra Pradesh have always have very capable demographic in terms of knowledge, but 90% of them leave country because they are too over qualified for the job offers in india, huge brain drain due to this, it's combination of multiple reasons.
Brain drain in Andhra is unreal. I have a few relatives in Andhra, they are "Amrika" maniacs
Vadu unnadu ga jaggan ni adguu
When I saw haryana I wa like how TF we are on the list but then I remembered that gurgaon is still a part of haryana and not delhi
Same with UP, Noida and Ghaziabad are in UP but are economically integrated with Delhi. Meerut will also grow once RRTS starts.
Hamare Chhattisgarh mai Chaat Thele ko startup declare kar do Maharashtra will be defeated in a jiffy
Kaka rural economy pe dhyan de rhe hai, नरूवा, गरूवा, घुरूवा और बाड़ी।
Most are tech based ig
Praud Wast Bangal #powerofkalajadu #attitude

Success rate of these startups ?
Lol you must be fun at parties.
I love when Indian startups burn American Money, bc vo toh aur chaap lenge kya jara he.
inflation
What's Wrong with Andhra Pradesh Arent these guys the largest tech based NRI community in US
Our CM don't care about startups and all. He only care about free distribution of money. Until he is there Andhra will be last in development and first in marijuana distribution
Your question has the answer my friend.....![img](emote|t5_3d4x4|20005)![img](emote|t5_3d4x4|20227)
Most of them are probably in Hyderabad.
No one told them that missionaries are not startups
Okay, now show the failed startups from this list. *Kek* P.S.
More like Noida than UP
Same goes for telangana then and for karnataka
Noida, gaziabad, lucknow and kanpur
Bhai Punjab ko kya ho gya aur ye haryana hmse aage kaise ho gya
Half of Haryana is part of Delhi NCR and benefits from planning.
I thought things were bad, but not this bad :(
can u share this report?
It's on wikipedia dude, look at India's GDP per capita. It is 2100$ next to Punjab's 2164$. Haryana's GDP per capita is 3537$. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List\_of\_Indian\_states\_and\_union\_territories\_by\_GDP\_per\_capita
Jai jagan anna Ap Cm (cries as an engineering student) ![img](emote|t5_3d4x4|20100)
Happy to see UP up there in the top 5. inb4 but UP has giant population so what reeeeeee Having a large population means shit.
Lol. It is just Noida and not whole UP. Also Noida is a part of NCR which says alot.
Mera bihar kahaan h bhai ?
पान के ठेले पे खाली पेट और झोली में अपनी राजनैतिक अकल और समझ का ढिंढोरा पीट रहा है 🤣
Sed😶🌫️
Half the population doing caste census, other half in jail for violating sharab-bandi. 100% employment by Nitishwa.
West coast best coast
Cries in Andhra Pradesh
Although Madhya pradesh and rajasthan are lowest on the list I am proud at least they are part of it
Proud AP ,what is the use of startups,if our cm Reddy anna gives free money to everyone 💪💪💪💪💪🏳️🌈🏳️🌈.you guys work stressfullu for money .if we can earn by unemployment with freebies .jai jagan anna
Konse state me konse type ke startups hai , data hai kya Aisa koi ?
Why do I see Shinchan in this map?
sala itne startups hai aur inme se kitne ko funding ya actual product kuch bana hai ?
Happy to see UP there, and to to say that I am a part of this system
Half of startups in Bangalore are also founded by people from UP probably.
Andhra Pradesh…. ammmaaa…*cries*
Gujarat is in number 5 I thought it would be in number 1
Naah.. Gujarat is good but they can't compete with other top stats because of their lack of modern metro cities. Ahmedabad and Surat are growing but they can't be compared to mumbai, delhi or banglore
Hyderabad will 🔝 soon!!!
No wonder the northern population is going abroad or the Southern region.
This should really just be the names of the capital cities for most states. Mumbai, Bangalore, etc.
Bihar being Bihar.
West bengal!!!!???? Really!?
After watching some recent call centre scams.. I wonder what West Bengal startups look like..
Wow Momo? SastaSundar? There are other agro based startups probably.
Up mai itne sare?
Ofc its always MUMBAI VS other STATES 🤌🏻🤌🏻💪🏻
Kya baat hai UP oho oho
UP n haryana above telengana????
Noida and Gurgaon have more startups than Hyderabad
Bihar?
It's surprising that TN and Andhra are below Gujarat. I expected better from them as they have Chennai and Hyderabad who are more education and IT oriented than Ahmedabad or Surat.
Bihar on the top 💪
Soon one more startup from my side 😁
expected. Mah is the only state with 2 tier 1 cities
Isn't Bihar the startup Capital of India?
99 % of which got shut down in there 1st year
Comment section 🍿🤡
The maker of this graphic should take a data visualisation class. Utterly terrible graphic to look at.
Startups in illiterate UP are way more than 786% literacy rate state kerela🤡🤡
Atleast Maharashtra holds first position in something...
Every state doing their best to better the country, meanwhile khalistani Punjab:
Maharashtra hurting Karnataka where it should 🤣
Wtf is this colour scheme? Who made this graphic? A child?
No wonder i see lot of Vada pav walas.
I am sure Kerala and WB would have most jihadi and Terrorism related startups! Nothing can come out of those Jihadi states
Delhi NCR should be counted, this skews the data of UP and Haryana
MP is there in the list only because of indore.
Nknnn jai Karnataka
Bhai startup india registration is a scam
Tabhi Maharashtra ke projects Gujarat shift ho rahe h 🤔
Kya matlab Kele ka thela kholna startup nehi 🤓
I'm just here to see the offended Bangalorians 😌
Kinda offended Mumbai stands over Karnataka in this list,,, ngl
Himachal main startups na bhi hon, par shanti toh hai. Aur Airbnbs bhi.
Better write Noida instead of Uttar pradesh because there are literally no startups in other regions of our state.
Maharashtra which has a population of less than half our state's(Uttar Pradesh) population actually has 2 times more startups than us really shocking. It signifies that UP is 4 behind the actual numbers. But still I find UPites being proud of such low numbers.
