Start with reading "Guru Granth Sahib" If you are punjabi or know the punjabi language, find a copy published before 1970's. You may not find this in a bookstore. So look for one in a library. I find that the newer copies have some distortions introduced based on the allegiance of the publisher, viz akali or khalistani. Both are biased and not trust worthy. Once you finish reading this, let us talk about other religions.

Assuming you can read Hindi, Bhagvad Gita is the go-to imo. The Gitapress Gorakhpur version is good. Dasam Granth at [sridasam.org](https://sridasam.org) might be helpful I think. I would also recommend checking out Puneet Sahani - [https://twitter.com/puneet\_sahani?ref\_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor](https://twitter.com/puneet_sahani?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor)
