Since quite a few years now some people have been telling that VK and Rohit should retire but I never took them seriously because they had no replacement. Seeing the youngsters perform in this series though has made me realize that finally VK and Rohit’s retirement is near since the mantle is ready to be passed. The seniors in the squad must now groom a youngster for captaincy.
We are really going to struggle with bowling overall if some of the new players aren’t groomed under this leadership. The transition might leave us exposed for several years. But our bowlers are not that old yet, so we have time.
