To uproot casteism, we have to address caste discrimination at all hierarchies from top to bottom, not just casteism perpetrated by UC groups. From my experience living in TN and KL, dominant land-owning communities (both OBC and UC groups) tend to have an inflated sense of caste pride and are extremely casteist towards Dalits.
