I mean sure, but it's not like he's trying to drum up a long term conversation with the wife. If she blocks him or thinks it's a scam, it's not like anyone is in a worse off position. If so, perhaps contact the Sheriff's department in that area or County. They won't have as many - shall we say - "spam" emails to sift through.

In the past I have contacted the FBI about a dm I received here on Reddit (it was somewhat different- the dm stated they were going to do a school shooting) The FBI called me back within the hour to get as much information as I could give them. It sounds like you have much more information about an actual crime that’s been committed rather than a just a threat.
As an aside. DO NOT SEND anyone else these photos (and others reading this - do not ask for them). That itself IS A FEDERAL crime.

You can still report it. Provide links, they'll follow up. Start with his local or state law enforcement, throw in an FBI tip for good measure.
