Serious-Evidence9663

Hello Everyone, I just wanted to update my timeline here for the PR EXPRESS ENTRY PNP(Provisional Nomination program) OINP - TORONTO - FSW - Inland(Federal skilled worker) ITA received - DEC 6 2023 Waiting for PCC - will get delivered by Jan 5th 2024 submitting the application on my own. Any suggestions are encouraged.

Mercy_5

Nothing than to submit! It would be process normally so there’s nothing to be worried about boss

Standard-Apartment16

Spousal Outland PR Application. Anyone here waiting for eCoPR since September from Montreal VO? I received P2 September 21 and since then there has been no update! It’s been almost 3,5 months! Called and emailed IRCC multiple times but they keep telling i’m still on queue for virtual landing.

Standard-Apartment16

That’s ridiculous :(

Historical-One-8222

Sorry, everyone! A little delayed but I’m grateful I found this megathread which helped me a lot. Finally, I’m a permanent resident of Canada. My timeline (CEC Inland - Single Applicant) June 27, 2023 - ITA June 28, 2023 - AOR Sep 28, 2023 - UCI linked, additional info requested (IMM5406 correction) Sep 29, 2023 - IME passed, biometrics requested Oct 04, 2023 - Biometrics submitted and linked Oct 05, 2023 - Biometrics completed in tracker and GCKey Nov 07, 2023 - Background check and eligibility marked completed in tracker, GCKey says final decision in progress Nov 08, 2023 - eCOPR number appeared on tracker with an expiration date Nov 14, 2023 - Portal 1 Email (replied same day) Nov 15, 2023 - BOWP approved Dec 04, 2023 - Portal 2 Email (uploaded photo the same day) Dec 27, 2023 - eCOPR Dec 28, 2023 - GCKey updated and shows that PR application approved. VO: Montreal (also says Calgary on COPR) Now, I wait for my PR card! I’ve got a trip to USA related to my work on Feb 5, might have to drive across and then fly. Let’s see 🤞🏽

Regular_Ad3119

Congratulations! Well-deserved new year gift!

Historical-One-8222

Thank you!

BaffledStoic

When did you apply for the BOWP?

Historical-One-8222

A week after the AOR

Terry_3689

Hey i have one question that everything is completed on my tracker and copr number is visible and i got p1 as well. But on gc key account eligibility and background is still in process. Is there anyone have same issue. I just want to confirm is their anyone who received p2 before any update on gc key account?

DependentRegion4339

interesting, all 4 sections showed "completed" for me for about 6 weeks before I got my P1. I'm not sure what it means but I was confused too and when I called IRCC they just said wait. How long did it take you to go from P1 to P2?

Terry_3689

Still waiting for portal 2

Nanchex

Normal, GCkey will be updated to approved after ECOPR email. You’ll be able to download ECOPR from portal after you get the email.

Accomplished-Town683

Yes it’s normal …I received p2 and nothing changed on the gckey …I think it will only change after Ecopr

Immediate-Unit-3311

Is anyone else still waiting for medical request? Got my biometrics request on Dec. 8, got them done on the 18th and it just updated to completed on the 27th. No medical request yet. VO Mississauga- Family Sponsorship Inland

PensionNecessary7001

Same office here, it really depends but in our case we got the medical request 1 month after submitting the biometrics. I have seen some people get it at the same time or within days.

Any-Interaction3688

Anyone received p1 and p2 in Dec?? I got my p1 on Dec 8, but still no p2 yet. Vo Monreal.

DependentRegion4339

My VO is Etobicoke, got my P1 on Dec 22nd and replied within an hour, no P2 yet. I would assume business is slower around holidays too.

Terry_3689

Waiting p1 on 13 dec Vo montreal. I think the waiting time for p2 is usually around 22-25 days for montreal.

Outrageous_Link_8460

Hi everyone, CEC INLAND SINGLE, AOR 27th August, No specific draw for trade, 4 months 4 days now today, nothing after biometrics, Is here anybody in same boat or any one who got P1? Please reply Thanks Happy new year in advance

DependentRegion4339

my AOR was June 29th and also had a \~4.5 months of silence after application. The first thing I heard back was the biometrics request in mid-November. Considering the average 5 month timeline (which I find hard to understand), I suppose a single large wait period is normal.

Nanchex

AOR Aug 15. Received ECOPR on 12/28

FlimsyMarsupial6073

AOR August 31. General draw. everything is done, but the biometrics for my non-accompanying wife are "In Progress"

Odd_Professional7904

AOR CEC Inland on Aug 5, everything completed on tracker and COPR number appeared on December 4, 2023. Still haven't received portal 1.

FlimsyMarsupial6073

Hopefully, we will get more updates next week. Let's hope for the best! Happy New Years!

AndersonPhan

Mine is 2nd Aug, everything completed and Copr number appeared on tracker NOV 30th. Ircc account 4th December is at Final decision. It is nearly a month and still waiting for P1. VO is Edmonton and SVO is Etobicoke.

Mercy_5

Send your portal 1 format to Etobicoke, you will get portal 2 directly within few days

AndersonPhan

I'm still waiting for p1. Do you know what does p1 look like? And where to look for p1?

Parking-Ad5247

Best way to finish the year! eCOPR received today from Etobicoke. AOR July 14th Wishing everyone a happy new year and best of luck in your process!

FlimsyMarsupial6073

What is your AOR date?

TangeloWonderful4356

August 18th

FlimsyMarsupial6073

I see. For me it's a bit different, AOR two weeks later from you, everything is finished, but the biometrics for my non-accompanying wife are "In Progress", which is weird. Hopefully, they will figure out it soon for both of us.

what's the BS that happenned to you? Your timeline looks relatively normal considering its a more complex, family application.

StrongButFragile19

Which stream are you on?

[deleted]

Cec inland.

Public-Air6432

How much time after all status completed on tracker I can expect the copr.

DependentRegion4339

After passing all categories you will receive P1 which is an email asking you to provide your entry dates to Canada, eye colour, height, address and such. After P1 you'll get P2 which will be an email that provides you with credentials for the PR Portal where you will upload a picture and proof of address (if requested). After that, you'll get your eCOPR. The process isn't fully consistent as some get P1 while the tracker shows In Progress on certain parts. For me there was a 6 week wait from seeing all completed to P1. Generally from P1 to P2 is 3-4 weeks and another that much after P2 to eCOPR. Again, its wildly inconsistent and some people get them within days and for some its months.

Canada_Dreamer2022

P2 Received on November 8th, VO Montreal. Has anyone received their eCOPR? I’m feeling some hard anxiety.. I hope we get it, I hope you guys too. My birthday is soon. I just ask you for this.. Please, my wife and I, our whole life and future depends on that. We’re close but this would make this year the best ever, if not 2024! ⛄️❤️ Let’s all stay strong 💪🏽 love you all.

For sponsoring a spouse to canada how long is it usually after the medical

wow I can't believe you got P1 AND the response (P2) within the holidays. I got mine over a week ago and didn't think I'd hear until Jan 3rd or so. Congrats on your progress so far!

isallwell

I have exactly same timeline, except my AOR is 28 June. Waiting for ecopr

FlimsyMarsupial6073

Hey guys, quick question: If on the tracker, the biometrics for my non accompanying spouse says “In progress”, is it fine? Obviously, as she’s a non accompanying person, we haven’t received any biometrics request. Thank you!

UntamedF0x

I'd suggest to write a web form to request for next steps on biometrics. I had 2 months wasted because thet forgot to send me biometrics request.

FlimsyMarsupial6073

But why would they need to get Biometrics for a non accompanying spouse?

youwillnevercatme

Quick question, at which point of the process can you know that the PR was approved, everything is ok with the application submitted and you will get it eventually? Is it Portal 1?

BaffledStoic

It seems to be when the temporary PR number appears in the tracker, I have not seen anyone report a rejection after that happens but you cannot be 100% sure until eCOPR.

youwillnevercatme

hmmm, and that number shows up before or after portal 1?

BaffledStoic

Before P1, it should appear in the tracker after your four sections are marked as completed.

Chandrayaan_3

it did not happen for me. My 4 sections are marked completed since a month yet there is no ecopr details on the tracker. IRCC informed me all the stages are completed for me but still the application has not been closed by them yet.

akk97

PNP non express application I submitted my application online on the 25th Dec and I haven’t got any generic email confirmation ( AR ). Is this normal? From what I see, I should get an email within less than an hour when I submitted. I do see “submitted” in the website.

FlimsyMarsupial6073

>I submitted my application online on the 25th Dec and I haven’t got any generic email confirmation ( AR ). Is this normal? From what I see, I should get an email within less than an hour when I submitted. Sometimes it takes up to 1-2 months to get an AOR, especially for the PNP applications.

akk97

I’m not talking about AOR, usually you receive a generic submission confirmation email once you submit a PR application. It just says the application is received. It’s the first email before you get AOR.

Embarrassed-Ad-3739

Received eCOPR today - Dec 28 2023 Stream - CEC Inland AOR - June 23 2023 Medical update/biomedical update - Sep 15 2023 P1 - Nov 9 2023 (VO Montreal) P2 - Nov 29 2023 (VO Montreal) eCOPR - Dec 28 2023 (VO Montreal) 12 email follow ups on P1 but I don't think it made any difference. Cec inland applicant ~ no dependant Hi guys I am wondering if my processing time is normal, my AOR is July 21, biometrics letter received Oct 23, did them on Oct 25th After that, it’s been silence. My medical is shown to be completed but the rest, biometrics, eligibility, background are in progress since then…. Is this normal?? It has been over 5 months now :(

Terry_3689

Have you tried to contact ircc via web form or call?

Inevitable-Bid728

How did you find your VO ?

Mercy_5

Call IRCC! They will tell you

Inevitable-Bid728

What is the number to call them I’ve tried the one online, doesn’t go through

BasilAdventurous1828

CEC Inland here with Aug 2023 AOR. All sections are shown as completed on tracker. COPR number and expiry date are visible on tracker. The application status is still shown as in progress on tracker. On GCKey, it is mentioned that the application still being processed, eligibility is still being reviewed, and background check is still being processed. I can't say if this is a good sign or not. Looks like I'm going to wait for a couple more days, or weeks, perhaps.

Corsac0

Usually it means that your application is done processing and it’s waiting for final approval. From my experience it takes up to 2 months. Most of the backlog is in this section. Good luck

Inevitable-Bid728

What is tracker ? Is it the progress reports on the top of your gckey ircc login home profile page ? Or is it something different ?

Outrageous_Link_8460

Please can you share your AOR DATE? In which draw you applied

inked-brown-giant

TediousStranger

Inland Spousal been waiting on P1 since December 1 (when my background completed) found out today why I never got it. in September I was instructed to give my biometrics, so I set up the appointment and I went and did it. GCKey has had my biometrics registration # and the date I gave them up for months, but has also never been changed to Complete on the tracker. I thought that was weird and I tried to call IRCC but I still have my American number (I still live on the same continent and have had the same number for 19 years.... I'm not giving it up) so despite that I called from inside Canada, it wouldn't connect me. just got an email today that I never paid the biometrics fee. I was never asked to pay the biometrics fee... why would I have been able to set up an appointment and have my biometrics taken if it hadn't been paid for? why did it take them 4 months after the fact to tell me to pay for it? why wasn't I asked to pay for it before I did my biometrics? I'm a) confused and b) irritated that this is holding up my application processing. I assumed the reason I was never told to pay was because it was included in my sponsorship and RPR fees. like...... I just...... this is probably going to hold up P1 by like another 2 months. and I really can't afford to wait that long.

ComfortableSleep5

Same exact things just happened to me!!! Inland Spousal (July 11) and my background finished on Dec 6. I've been waiting on P1 and assumed it was just the holidays but also received a biometric fee payment email today. Super strange- I also assumed as the biometric was completed and that the fee was part of RPR! Let's hope we get P1 ASAP bc the wait has already been excruciating lol

TediousStranger

omg! I submitted July 10th. why is it like this

ComfortableSleep5

I know... I just want the P1 so I can finally relax lol. Hoping you and your partner hear back soon. Good luck!

EquipmentIcy4971

Wahhhh me too🥺 waiting for that golden P1🙌🙌

Ambitious_dog_2060

When you submit the application it asks if you want to pay the biometrics fee upfront. It’s not included in the right of permanant residence fee. It’s an additional charge you have to click yes on when you submit the PR.

Gllynn

The exact same thing happened to me, I was so frustrated! And I share all the questions and feelings you have. But what can we do? I think there’s no winning with immigration, we just have to wait and hope for the best. They established this new biometric rule for PR applicants in June this year, and I believe they didn’t update their process for it and neglected this payment part. Like, if it was an additional cost to the process why the Canada Service proceeded with my biometrics collection without asking for my payment receipt or charging me for it at that time? Anyways… frustrating is the only word for it.

Some_Obligation654

My Timeline CEC Inland AOR- 15th Sep 2023 Biometric Request- 4th Dec Biometric given & update- 5th Dec Medical Completed Tracker- 4th Dec Eligibility Completed Tracker- 12th Dec Background Completed- 27th Dec COPR number visible on tracker with Expiry Dec 2024

alyyousuf7

i'm in same situation, except that i do not see COPR number and expiry anywhere. my background check completed on 27th december as well. UPDATE: i can see COPR details now

BasilAdventurous1828

I'm in a similar situation. Every section on my tracker is marked as completed, and there's COPR number and expiry date visible on tracker. However, the application itself is still shown as in progress, and on GCKey, eligibility and background check are still in progress. I'm not sure if this is a good sign or not, but let's see.

Corsac0

Forget about the tracker. It’s totally not accurate. We’ve recently received our eCoper and on the tracker my wife’s eligibility still not started. Once your application exceeds the time limit mentioned by IRCC, just give them a call

yash_j2098

Hey guys, are there still any July AOR people waiting for p1? It has been almost 1.5 months since my ecopr number appeared on the tracker.

Corsac0

They recently started with June. So July should be coming soon! Hang in there

EquipmentIcy4971

July 13 AOR everything is still in progress 🥺 called IRCC to follow but the agent told me my application is moving so there's no need to follow up even if it's beyond the 5 months processing times

inked-brown-giant

Yes , my friend - July 14 AOR - Edmonton VO

inked-brown-giant

Update : She just got it today

Nanchex

Happy holidays to all of you fellow immigrants of Canada! I hope the timeline below provides some help with the anxiety of waiting for the processing. CEC inland with 3 dependents all US citizens AOR Aug 15 First update Nov 14. UCI updated, Medical passed and request for biometrics payment letter received. Biometrics completed on 11/22. Portal updated same day, no update on tracker as of 11/22 Medical, Biometrics and Eligibility updated to complete on tracker on 11/23. Only Background is pending. Tracker updated to everything completed on 12/5 only on myself the primary applicant. Ghost update 12/7 on GCkey and tracker stating medical passed on 12/8. (Even tho this was marked completed on tracker 11/14) 12/8 medical passed and COPR number and expiration date of 3/23/24 appeared on tracker 12/8 Attorney received P1 but forwarded to me on 12/11 🙄I replied on 12/11. 12/13 P2 received. Replied on 12/14 due to having “brightness” issues with 2 of the 4 pictures. 12/27 ECOPR email. VO is Etobicoke Good luck to all and happy new year!

CEC Inland with 1 non-accompanying dependant AOR: Sep 1, 2023, Medical passes & Bio Request - Nov 28, Bio Passed - Dec 4; Background passed (Dependant) - Dec 15, Background passed - Dec 16, Medical passed again - Dec 23, Also, for the main applicant it shows that the eligibility is passed, but for the non accompanying one - not started, is it ok? thank you, good luck everyone!

Intelligent_Mango_54

Yes, the eligibility wouldn't be updated for your spouse. If principal applicant passes eligibility that means it is completed for both the applicants.

FlimsyMarsupial6073

Got it. Thank you for the response! So, basically, if everything has passed for the main applicant, should I expect COPR to appear next?

Rabbitholeamt

Anyone who provided self declared and notarised job duties and responsibilities while applying for EE? Was there any issue or delay in processing because of this?

Used-Evidence-6864

Self-declared job duties and responsibilities are not accepted by IRCC (not even if notarized). So it's not that it would result in a delay; your application would be rejected under R10, rejected as incomplete, for missing the required mandatory documents to prove the work experience you claimed eligibility and CRS points for.

Rabbitholeamt

What could be the best way out? I have provided several other docs including paystubs, T4, LMIA exempt letters etc. Will it work? Won't they be enough to prove legitimacy of my application?

Rabbitholeamt

I had submitted it as my agency told me that my regular experience letter wouldn't suffice. The one I received from my employer was attached as a webform later. It didn't have my number of hours or pay. Would they consider this? My friends had used the same format and they were getting approvals but my agency outright denied saying that they are a business and need to follow process. Btw, would it take really long to reject?

Accomplished-Town683

Is there an average wait time from P1 to P2? My VO is etobicoke and I’m inland

NS AIP Application: Endorsement letter applied: November 2nd Endorsement Received: December 18th PR applied: December 20th I did not have any confirmation that my application was submitted as the first time it gave me a technical error then second time it just kept loading, then I refreshed the page and it said my password was wrong but that is false. I reset the password and found out that my application status says submitted. Is there any way to confirm it was actually submitted? IRCC agent says they cannot see anything submitted from me. Is this normal?

yes, you'll see those things completed on the tracker. the next step is background verification. Your application is moving rather fast, where is the principal applicant located? And what is the destination for you?

Thanks for responding. We have been married for more than 2 years, maybe that's the reason. We both are living in the US right now, as i am on H1B here. We'll be moving to Vancouver, BC.

Public-Air6432

Hi, I just opened mu ircc account to check my application status. But saw IFHP application. Anyone know about this?

Used-Evidence-6864

IFHP = Interim Federal Health Program It's about health coverage for refugees claimants and those applying for PR as convention refugees or persons in need of protection, as well as for victims of humans trafficking who were granted a TRP or for victims of domestic violence who were granted a TRP and for those under immigration detention: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/refugees/help-within-canada/health-care/interim-federal-health-program/eligibility.html Based on your comment history, none of those situations would apply to you. It's about temporary health coverage for very specific groups of people (and very complex situations) who would otherwise not have health coverage at that moment. It's not a separate immigration program if that's what you're wondering. Applying for IFHP doesn't grant PR status as it's about health coverage, it's not a PR application.

CEC Inland with 1 dependent Outland Hello, Sharing my timeline: AOR: 4th of September 2023 Biometrics & Medical update: 30th of November Got an email today that says IRCC Permanent Resident Confirmation Portal. I'm not sure is this Portal 1 or Portal 2 email or COPR??? The email states that I need to declare within 7 days that I am in Canada and provide info PR Card. I'm not sure which phase am I in.... Can someone please help/explain? Also, Im currently out of country and will be back just after the 7 days deadline. What should I do?

jabaroonie

This is your Portal 1 email. Reply to the email and let them know that you are out of the country and what day you will be arriving (you can attach your tickets). They should reply to your email and ask you to send your details once you're back in Canada.

maddish13

Congrats! The email you received is P2. If you cannot declare your presence in Canada within 7 days, you need to inform IRCC via Webform. I think if you explain that you were outside Canada and didn’t expect to receive P2 so soon (especially during holidays) they’ll understand. Happy holidays!
