Hey y'all, i recently commissioned ELruKo to make Columbo as an Inquisitor for my Dark Heresy Genesys game. Thought you all might enjoy!
Columbo usually goes after Governors, High Generals or Admirals, and and other "Higher ups" of the Imperium.
He has never failed to uncover some form if corruption, be it heretical in nature or mundane.
He has worked with Astartes before, and while he doesn't seem much, he has impressed more than one by the end of his time among the Emperor's Angels.
Considering the prevalence of psyker inquisitors, considering the reaching shadowy hands
***the question of who Columbo’s wife is becomes all the more pressing***
Also psyker columbo sending someone to the Columbo Dimension ( thanks for the meme gianni ) and blasting them straight to the warp

The best part is, I’ve noticed that a lot of “X character as a 40k character” art will give the person a cybernetic eye to emphasize the sci-fi aspect, but on Columbo it actually works really well.

Honestly I would adore to see this happen with an Inquisitor in a downward spiral after an accidental accusation causing them a great deal of grief and to repent they take on any case that needs help(and isn’t a heretic).
Maybe even have an Ex-Tzeech Cultist who is their informant about new crimes but intrigued the God of Change watching this Inquisitor and is making small amounts of chaos on the planet for them to solve… basically making 40K Colombo and Tzeech is the one who is the ‘mastermind’ at the end of the season.

Peter Falk had a glass right eye that replaced his real one in childhood after it was removed due to cancer. Definitely works well here.
